My husband son and daughter in law ate there this evening. Chuck was our waiter. Best service we had in a long time. He knew the menu, the food, the wine, made suggestions. Our food was excellent. Huge portions we had some to take home. Good place to eat. Ask for Chuck

Cheddar's review for 9.6.15 Intro: This review is pretty short since I was having heatstroke that day and we weren't there long. We got seated very quickly, however it took a long time for drinks to show up and I was having heatstroke and I had to go pee a lot. I decided to lie down on the booth to recover and I was feeling woozy becuase of the heat outside and the fact I had an extremely stressful day with some beta testing and my body. I really needed a cold margarita to help me feel bettter. Shortly after I got my drink after going to the toilet for the 2nd time after arriving and the manager took my drink away!!! what the hell? Did she assume I was allready drunk? I was far from it and didn't have a single sip of liquor that day. I didn't even get to have a single sip! I was too frustrated and I just asked my food to go since I just needed to go shower and take a nap at home. She didn't even confirm what was going on and that pissed me off. Then I got home to eat my food a few hours later (alfredo pasta) and it tasted like glue!! it was gross and not much cheese on it or anything even though I specified extra!! I don't think I'll go here again, the prices went up and the quality and service went down, and don't you dare even act a little different then normal or you will be degraded and treated like a child like I was.

I have eaten before and been decently satisfied not this time the food was slow in coming service slower. The waiter was more than willing to gossip about coworkers but could not tell me what the specials were but he could tell me I wasn't saving any money on them even though I just asked what they were made me feel cheap for asking The food it self was like warm my wife's steak was under cooked mine over cooked my sons philly steak just had 2 pieces of unmelted cheese slapped on it overall defiantly not worth the prices or aggravation Made us feel like it was an imposition to the staff to be there and obviously the kitchen was to busy to care about quality won't be back My advice go to the road house a couple hundred yards away

The atmosphere and service was really good. The food was presented hot and with a nice eye appeal. However, my chicken was heavily breaded and slightly over cooked. I would eat here again!

Good service and food. Smoked ribs where fall the bone, tender and flavorful, red beans and rice had that New Orleans Creole flavor and texture that I expected. Good family restaurant.

Great food! You get a ton for your money and the cocktails are really good too. The service has improved since they opened it used to be pretty bad. The last couple times we have been there it's been just fine.

I ordered a steak. Medium rare. The sides that came with it were good. But the steak itself was a disaster. Black on the outside and blood in the middle. Tells me someone doesn't know how to cook a steak. The grill was too hot and burned the outside before the inside started cooking. The only thing earning them a second star is the place looked great and was nice and clean, and the waitress took the steak off the bill because after two bites I couldn't eat it. Go somewhere else if you want steak. They can't do it even halfway decently.

Visited on a Wednesday around 5:00. Seated right away. Waitress was friendly and prompt. I had the Key West Chicken and Shrimp. My wife the Tilapia Mango w/shrimp. Both were exceptional. I really enjoyed the Key West Chicken and would highly recommend it. No regrets. Looking forward to coming back.

Have visited about 10 times since opened in Vienna, Wv. It's been over a yr since last visit because of my experience the last couple. I had found a black hair cooked into the green beans & waitress made no attempt to offer resolution. I could not eat the dinner afterwards but still charged. The last time I visited I ordered the Homestyle breaded chicken. I cut into it & it was completely undercooked.Disgusting! Manager could not believe it but she at least took it off my bill. NEVER Again!!

Oh how the mighty have fallen! I loved Cheddar's when it first opened, but the last trip ruined a dinner for me and my husband. Our waiter Alikka was awful. We waited over ten minutes just to be waited on. Our food took over 45 minutes and was cold when served. Plates were warm, but food wasn't. My husband took pictures of the bathroom to show me. Urinals were running over and all the toilets were plugged. I will never set foot in there again. According to other complaints, management feels customers complain to get free food. If the service, food, and bathrooms are bad; I think management needs replaced!

I really enjoy their Monte Cristo sandwich and their southern style green beans. Service here isn't so great. We've been Here a few times and I can only recall a couple of good waitresses, a few mediocre, and one of the worst waitresses I've ever had. I still think it's worth it for the most part.

We went in knowing what we wanted to eat and were ignored by a male waiter. He didn't seem to want to take our order. Maybe they should train these guys to take the order of the customer when they are ready. I stopped in for a late lunch with my grandfather one afternoon around 2:30. There were some customers but it was not busy. It's another casual eating restaurant chain. We placed our order and lost track of time from chatting. I realized things seemed to be taking a long time but made the comment that I don't mind as long as the food is fresh. That was apparently the curse. Our server, Jeremy, brought out our food after about 25 minutes. Yep - it was cold. I guess the food had been sitting in the kitchen for about 10-15 minutes based on the temperature. The only time we saw Jeremy was within a couple minutes of getting our food and I was asking my grandfather if his was cold as well. We didn't see Jeremy until we were about done and I just wanted to get out. We had other things to do and didn't want to be delayed with trying to get a meal served hot. My grandfather ate his meal and I only had about half of my chicken/pasta dish. I won't be going back unless forced.... like at gunpoint.

Service was horrible. Waited 30 for food. When it came all meals were cold and my chicken was pink. Food tasted good, better if made correctly. Pricing is good. The manager made it right.

Don't plan on having more than two drinks at this place as they will cut you off even though they have a bar! They said they were a family restaurant , I was like so is Applebee's and I can have more than two drinks there! Never going back to this shithole, food is par at best.

Portion size seems to be great but the price is even better! The onion rings are a must try and you get a pile of them...litterally!

Review 8.3.13 (Saturday Evening) Upon arriving, they told us, it would be a "26-31" minute wait for a table for 4. We waited about 15 minutes, and we were seated. She took out drink, appetizer, and entrée orders right on the spot. Our drinks and appetizer came in exceptional time. However we had only an average wait for our food. The food was great, as usual. ( My only concern was that our waitress never collected our empty glasses when we finished them. )

We visited this place again this weekend and found it better than we remembered. Maybe it's because their business has finally slowed down to more manageable levels. At any rate, everything tasted good and the service was much improved. Yay!

Atmosphere and decor is nice and clean. Food is priced well. Portions are large. Service is normally adequate. However, Be warned My Fitness Pal users and fellow calorie counters, NO nutritional information is available on apps or on their own website. Either laziness or are they hiding just how bad their food is for you? That is blasphemy within the healthy living community but I still patronize on occasion but I have to guess exactly what I'm putting in my body.

Normally I am a big Cheddar's fan. I love the good size portions, and reasonable prices. That said my last experience at Cheddars was terrible. Our server took our drink order and appetizer order. The appetizer was brought and eaten before we found our server again to flag him down and asked him take our meal order (we are over 30 mins at the table already), another 20+ mins. after he took our orders he came back to the table to tell us he lost our order and needed to take it again. Almost 2 hours after we sat down we finally got our food.

The Honey BBQ ribs are the best in town!!! Great service & friendly employees. The food can be hit or miss but usually very good!

Had dinner with my family today. Food was very good and fresh tasting. Nice bright atmosphere. Service was basic. Something I have had happen more than once in Parkersburg...dinner came with the appetizers coming later. The point of an appetizer is to bring it out, and let the customer finish before dinner is served! Dinner was brought out by two and the waitress accompanied them...they quickly sat the food down and left without asking if everything was OK, or if we needed anything else?! They were not even busy! I will rate the food a four, and service a 2 1/2...giving the whole experience a 3...which is 'good.'
