Ok so found out about this place on Yelp. I walked in and liked the aromas of garlic and pizza bread baking into my mind. I like how you can see all the cooking right before you and the cooks are the owners and they yell at each other in Italian. I went right up to two waitress's and asked what's tasty and one said the fajitas and I was like fajitas? And the other said you got to get the douby bread! I was like what is up with this place? So I ordered them both. And I have to say the douby bread is killer! For real it's just bread immersed in a soupy garlic butter and parmesan heart attach city but hey sometimes you gotta splurge! The fajitas was good needed cheese then it would have been a Philly cheesesteak. Very nice place.

Nothing bad to say about a simple lunch at a local pizzeria. The Angelo's menu features everything you would expect from a pizzeria that wants to offer everything they can to serve a variety of tastes and desires beyond a pie and a soda. Pizza, calzones, strombolis, burgers, subs, entrees from spaghetti to veal Parmesan, and even their twist on a gyro, there is something for everyone. For my initial visit, I selected the small Cheesesteak Stromboli and it did not disappoint. The size of a small pizza, folded over, the fresh, homemade dough was crispy and soft in the parts where it is supposed to be, and positively stuffed with all the right things. The steak was standard but tasty, and the cheese was fresh, delicious, and plentiful. It does not come standard with onions, peppers, or mushrooms, which is a major benefit for me, but I am sure adding such ingredients would be welcome, and would be a nice add-on for those who desire such flavors in the stromboli. Considering the size of the small, it is hard to fathom just how big any other size would actually be when the tray is placed on the table in front of you. The best bonus is the serving of house marinara, not a flavor that is traditionally paired with a cheesesteak but fits just fine with the stromboli. That said, it is hard to imagine much of anything that would not go well with Angelo's marinara, which is offered for purchase by the jar and is also highly recommended. The garlic bread was on point as well, rich with flavor and texture. Although it is not included in the order by default, try a side order of the homemade Alfredo sauce to go with the bread. You will be glad you did. All in all, a positive experience, and one that ensures return visits any time I am in the Princeton area.

We eat here every time we make the trip to Princeton. It's well worth the short drive from I-77. The bread is amazing with the perfect blend of garlic butter. The portions are large and it's extremely affordable.

We always come here just for the Douby bread. They are delicious little rolls with butter, garlic, parmesan, and some spices. The pizza is always to our liking and the staff is kind. They are pretty empty because most people are ordering out so it's nice and quiet. I read there was carpet but they have replaced it with wood like linoleum and there are New York City type canvas murals. They have a tv featuring sports. They also serve Pepsi products.

I'd give it 4 stars, but can't. I placed a pick up order, was quoted 20 mins...it took about 35 mins. 1 table of 4, 4 employees + driver....so it was not busy. The quality of the product was good, but I should have asked for well done, cause it was a bit under cooked. Staff was friendly as well and the prices were very fair. I'd take this over any national chain for sure

DOOBIE BREAD!!! You have GOTTA eat the Doobie Bread! Knots of delicious bread swimming in garlic, butter, and Parmesan cheese with a wonderful marinara sauce. The service isn't wonderful, but the food more than makes up for it. A gem of an Italian restaurant.

Growing up in Princeton with a family of horrible chefs, I was a frequent at Angelos. I have had many dishes from pastas (eggplant parm, lasagna, manicotti) from doughy dishes (calzones, pizza rolls, pizza, sub/sandwiches) to every salad they have (grilled chicken with mozz cheese is the best!!). The food is generally good. The marinara sauce is yummy, but they tend to be a stingy with it. We always ask for extra marinara. The owners are pretty mean. It seems like they tend to have the younger high school girls and boys working for them to yell and flirt with at the same time. When you go here don't expect the best service because you won't get it. A previous commented on the lighting and dirty carpet---I'm down to Earth and I don't let little things like that freak me out. If the food is good--it's good.

Angelo's is an awesome place with great food and excellent service. We liked it so much we had dinner and lunch the next day there. The pizza was among the best we have ever had. The staff that work there we're so friendly and accommodating. My wife and I plan to stop there every time we come to Princeton.

The biggest selling point for Angelo's for me is the Dooby Dooby bread. If you like buttery, cheesy, yeasty bread then you will like this dish. it is a pull apart knot bread pile that is baked and then they smother it with melted butter and Parmesan cheese. We usually get the Antipasto salad to go with it. A fine meal. Nothing gourmet or grand but satisfying. And they make a sweet version of the Dooby bread but I have never tried it.

Not a quick off and back on the interstate. I found the atmosphere of the restaurant somewhat depressing with the ratty carpet and fluorescent lighting. The service was good. The food came out in a reasonable time. The price was good. The pizza was just OK. They used lots of cheese, but the pepperoni-green olive pizza we had was lacking in flavor. They are also one of the rare pizza joints that doesn't have beer. How can you neglect one portion of this great American duet? If we lived in Princeton (heaven forbid), we would possibly get delivery, though I would never make my way off the interstate for this place.

Good pizza. Very tasty. Especially enjoyed the banana peppers on the deluxe--all vegetable. The service was a little sketchy. The drinks came after the salads. The garlic bread for a starter after the salad. The salad was nothing fancy but a good portion of fresh lettuce with a few additions that was just right before the pizza.
