I picked up take out while staying next door at the hilton garden inn. The hummus was awesome - great flavor and texture! The stuffed grape leaves, however, were not. They were way too salty. It wasn't just the rice, but there was a salty seasoning on the outside of the grape leaf, too. The same salty seasoning was on the grilled pitas, it was just too much. Thankfully, I was able to brush most of the salt off of the pita. I love Mediterranean food, so I will try this place again next time I am in Morgantown for business. Staff was very nice and friendly.

Customer request: Taziki's! Pease consider making a hot, grilled veggie gyro, I know it would be delish! While at Taziki's, I got to take in some tasty apps, like their hummus (YUM!) and their spicy pimento cheese (Hail the Gods of Olympus, wonderous!). Their food was fresh, and their service was fantastic. The two young men that served us that day were so friendly and accommodating. My two travel companions ordered a salad and a lamb gyro, respectively. They both found their food to be very good and filling. I ordered the veggie gyro, which I expected to be like other veggie gyros I've ordered at numerous places around the country. However, it was cold, like a wrap, least to say I was disappointed. I still found it very good, but expectations can be different from reality. Places I've been to with a veggie gyro have been served hot, with grilled veggies and cheese on WARM pita bread with tomato, lettuce and tzatziki sauce. This place had a cold pita bread wrapped around a type of slaw with cold roasted red pepper slices, meh. The service (which deserves 4 stars alone) is hard to beat, PLUS free refills. And my roasted potato side was simple, yet killer. All in all, if I passed this way again, I'd certainly stop by; though, this time I might order a salad.

Great service and speedy too. The hummus and pasta salad were very good, my chicken gyro however, could use a little work. The chicken was very, very tough. I would definitely give this place another try, however, wouldn't opt for the chicken again.

Tazaki's is pretty decent Mediterranean fare. I had a chicken gyro - the side of pasta salad was really great, but the chicken in my gyro was rather dry. To their credit, my food was ready within minutes -- and considering I was ravenous, I was greatly appreciative of this!

-they ran out of the pita bread for the gyros --they sent someone downtown to get some and had the pita within 15 minutes! -chairs still had some rice and paper from straws wadded up on the table I sat at -plenty of parking -smoke free -quick service. Ord

Loved this place. Great service, great food. I wish they would replace the bad potato chips they serve with their sandwiches with sautéed or even fried sweet potatoes.

3.5 stars Acceptable greek/Mediterranean food. Actually one of the healthiest choices I had available to me when I was in college so I have explored the entire menu. Gyros are acceptable, but small so its not a great value but they pretty much hit your requirements of a decent gyro. Turkey and egg sandwich is my favorite sandwich as it is healthy when without mayonnaise and tasted perfect with a dash of salt and pepper. Nonetheless Taziki's offers on par Greek and Mediterranean food. It is relatively clean. Although food is tasty, it's just not plentiful enough.

Surprised I have reviewed this place yet. I go here frequently. I really love the freshness of their foods, and it's a change from the same old same old typical fastfood choices I usually make. I particularly like their Monday special, chicken portobello sandwich. The chicken breast is cooked perfectly, tender and moist, and the portobello adds a slight tangy flavor to the sandwich. I love it and I usually get the hummus too. I've been tempted twice to try their chocolate cake dessert because it looks do good, but honestly that has been the only disappointing thing I've tried there. It's not as rich tasting as I had expected. In fact the cake is kind of bland. I tried it the first time long ago and totally forgot what it taste like. Then I just tried it again recently and instantly I remembered the previous experience. Hopefully I'll look back on this review before I make the same mistake a third time. Nevertheless, all in all I highly recommend this place the food is great.

Atmosphere was nice, server was pleasant and came to check on us. Can't say I was impressed with the Grilled Tenderloin Feast. Three small pieces of meat that was pretty dry and a small Greek salad along with a small portion didn't live up to a "Feast."

For a fast meal with healthy options, this place was perfect. The staff was welcoming and provided perfect service. We had a small delay in receiving one of our dishes, and the management made up for the inconvenience. Everything else was delivered extremely quickly to our table, and eeryone in our group really liked their meal. The restaurant also appeared very clean (although I didn't use the restroom, so can't speak to that). All around a great quick dining destination.

I found this place quite by accident. I was a bit thrown off with having a menu board at the door and you make your selections like a cafeteria. Once I figured out what to do, the staff was helpful in answering my questions as I made my selections. I do have a complaint. I had to wait 27 minutes for a meal for 2 people. It was a Wednesday night. 8 tables already eating and 3 waitng besides me. Were they bogged down from take out? I didn't see anyone come in and get food. Now once I got my meal it was good. The vegetables were fresh. The meat was hot. So I give 3 stars and I will go back and try again.

Good food but they need to keep the tables and floor clean. The dishes are cleaned off but the tables don't get wiped down. Slowly going downhill.

I travel to Morgantown quite a bit for work and I ALWAYS make it a point to stop by this place at least once while I am there. For the sake of this review, I'll just be talking about my most recent visit. I went a little later in the night so there was no line when I got there. The girl that took my order was very nice and got me everything I needed. I ordered the tilapia and a bowl of the lemon chicken soup. The tilapia normally comes with basmati rice and a small salad. I wanted more rice so I replaced the salad with rice with no problems. About the lemon chicken soup, if you don't get a bowl of this when you visit this place then you've made a mistake. Eat it. You won't be disappointed. My food came out really quickly and was delicious. The tilapia was cooked perfectly. The seasoning was great and it was very moist. The tartar sauce that comes with it is delicious as well. I think it is reasonably priced and my experience this time around was great. I will be back in a couple of weeks for sure since I'll be up for business and I can't wait.

This place is hit or miss. Went there once and it was fantastic. Tender flavorfull steak medallions and tasty roasted potato side. Went there a second time and tried the tradition lamb gyro. The meat was very tough and chewy with lots of connective tissue. An immediate turnoff. Will probably give it another try just because first trip was so good.

Taziki's is pretty yummy. They have a pretty diverse selection on their menu, and they are pretty good at accommodating to dietary restrictions. I can't recall what I got, but I think it was a chicken gyro, and the kitchen staff was able to make sure my meat was cooked on a clean grill and that no cheese or sauces were on my gyro and salad. Due to my food allergies, I have to be extremely careful about hidden ingredients, and Taziki's was able to ensure that everything right down to the pita bread was safe for me to eat. The staff pretty much handed me the pita bread bag because I have a long list of dairy by-products I have to make sure aren't in sauces, seasonings, or breads. The meal I got came with plain potato chips and I was able to get a side of fruit. All in all, I'm glad to have found another restaurant I can eat at with healthy options such as fruit (fresh fruit, not the canned type). Staff were not surly despite my many questions about what is in the gyro, and they were really nice about everything, which is really good considering that many restaurant staff are easily annoyed when I ask about specific ingredients on menu items. I can't recall if there are any gluten-free items, but there are a lot of options for vegetarians. If you are vegan, you might be limited in your selections, but you can still get hummus, pita, plain potato chips, and fruit - not a full meal, but at least a healthy snack.

One my favorite places in Morgantown. The lamb gyro is the best in town. The mezedes platter is also always good. Salads with added salmon are also great. Service is almost always prompt and speedy.

Finally made it here. When I walked in i was really impressed with its decor. I thought it would be like a lame fast food joint type decor. I was a bit confused at first, but you order by the grills. Anywho Food I loved how everything seemed so fresh. I ordered the Lemon Chicken soup which i thought was fantastic. I also ordered the Chargrilled Lamb. It came with a crispy pita chip, hummus, greek salad w/ dressing, and roasted potatoes i chose over the rice. Everything was delicious, but the hummus was unusual. Not in a bad way just not your typical hummus taste. I will be back to try the other menu items.

Tazikis is a place i've visited on numerous occasions and to sum it up in one word, its mediocre. The food is not bad, but nothing to die for. Prices are good for what you get, thats about it.

Located conveniently in the Suncrest Towne Center. We had the lamb gyro with a tomato cucumber salad for a side, it was healthy and delicious. Will definitely frequent this place.

BIG turn around! Our beloved little Friday night relax spot is BAAACK and even better than before! New and very well trained employees made our comeback a joy. The food is what it was - great! And I was wrong about their feta cheese being "fake." I apologize to Taziki's - I found out from Kyle, their manager, they switched to a form of Feta that is gluten free, so as to be better able to serve their patrons. Kudos! All in all, you won't go wrong giving this great little spot a try!

I had the Dolmades, which I think were made with curried rice. They tasted like a pile of salt. The side salad was pretty good, though.

Great place overall. The Gyro wrap is delicious. It's seat yourself and you order at the counter. Great for lunch. I've never had dinner here. I've never had any problems here. It's nothing to rave about, but it's a great place to grab a sandwich and some chips.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Great place to go if you want something a little bit different than the norm, but with big taste.
