The food here is awesome and we really like the owner and his family- they are all so honest and kind. The store has enough stuff to get you through a pinch if you need spices for your Mediterranean cooking, but the turnover isn't so high so spices aren't as fresh. They will accommodate meat orders and get you cuts that you want if you tell them in advance. Produce is hit or miss but if you manage to stop by on delivery day, you can often find fresh eggplant, zucchini, tomato, and herbs at a fraction of the cost you would find at Kroger.

I have used Kassar's many times and had consistently warm and sharp service. You pay a slight premium for the unique goods, but they are well worth it. They also make various Arabic delights. Exceptional store.

A Syrian family owns this small but excellent store. If you like to make Middle Eastern or Indian food at home you'll find everything you need here. Spices, sauces, olives and olive oil, fresh produce (like those small Armenian cucumbers and pomegranates, etc), every type of lentil, mixes for Saudi and Lebanese meat dishes, teas and coffee. And the owners are extremely welcoming. Fresh bakhlava!

Love this place its a little store and a restaurant in the back you order up front and they bring the food to you.there Hommus and Pita is my fave!

This place is both a store for middle eastern/mediterranean foods and products, but in the back of the store they have a diningroom for serving food. The process starts in the front, in the store section, that is where you place your food order. Then you go to the back and they will bring you your meal. I've been there twice to eat and the first time was with one person and the food service was quick and all the items on the menu were available. The second time I went with a large group, which was probably too much for them to accommodate but of course they worked with us. They had 2-3 people running the place and it was difficult for them to tend to both the store customers and the diningroom patrons. Also, they ran out of some menu items and some of the people in our group had to make substitutions or totally order a new menu item. They food was decent, not bad, but also nothing to write home about. If you decide to go I suggest you keep the number in your group under 4.

Yep - Pretty sure this is the only Middle Eastern Store and Restaurant in the NCWV area. It's a little weird when you first walk in if you are just looking for the restaurant/tea house. Regardless of which door you walk in, you are met with the grocery/clothing store first so it is a little confusing. On top of that, you do have to order your food at the cash register (they just put a menu in front of you and you pick your dishes) and then walk to the back right corner to the restaurant part to wait on your food. The food was good, but it was served on a Styrofoam plate with plastic ware and I had to get my drink out of the cooler in the grocery section. Aside from that I did enjoy the food and I think they have great spinach and veggie rolls. I sort of wonder if at dinner time the restaurant is a little more formal than during lunchtime. Their website is way better than the actual place.
