By far my new favorite place in town for great food. Hummus is AWESOME. The meat pies are 'THE BOMB' according to my daughter and the service is great. I am a huge fan of family owned businesses and this place will leave you with a full stomach and very satisfied. Everything from the appetizer (hummus) to the shawarma and gyros are very good. You won't go wrong choosing Jasmine Grill for lunch or dinner!

I've tried this place several times now, and had similar experiences every time. The positives: Clean, bright, cool Arabic music playing, friendly staff. Food is flavorful and authentic - well-grilled meats, parsley salad, etc. The negatives: PRICY! $8 for a basic kebab sandwich is too steep, especially for what is basically a place for a quick bite. While the service is friendly, the kitchen needs to be a bit more responsive - every single time, I've asked for no pickles on my sandwich, was told no problem, and then ended up with tons of pickles. As with quite a few other places in Morgantown, this restaurant would not stand out in a larger city with more Middle Eastern options, but does the job. It's nicer than the Mediterranean Deli, and on a par with the Lebanese Bistro (but without the crazy prices and bad attitude). It would be great if Jasmine Grill could raise its game and lower those prices a bit!

Very good Arab restaurant. Got the falafel wrap, shish tawook wrap, and kebab meal. I recommend wraps over meals with rice. The pita is delicious! My favorite was the falafel. The kebab was very good. Again I recommend the pita sandwich. Hummus was okay but not enough bread. The tabouli salad was very good.

This could easily be one of the best restaurants in Morgantown if they just fine tune it a little, lower the prices a little, and keep up the excellent hard work. I was in town a few weeks ago and wasn't even that hungry until a friend of mine invited me for lunch at Jasmine Grille. We ordered some kabob wraps at $7.50 each and nothing came with it - no fries, no side salad, etc - EXPENSIVE! Usually when I go to places like this, I am instantly skeptical about the quality and authenticity. However, this Kabob wrap was easily one of the best I've had in a long time - it was perfectly seasoned, the meat was nicely grilled and juicy, and the flavors were explosive - it was heavenly and I was hungry for more. While I think that the portion of the sandwich was good, I think they could definitely throw in a little side of fries or a salad to accompany it at that $7.50 price. I got a glimpse of a kitchen and saw the staff working very hard and ensuring that the food was consistent and of good quality. I wish the owners all the best of the luck in the epic revolving door of Morgantown's restaurant scene.

Delicious and authentic Syrian food. The pitas are the best and really set it apart from other Mediterranean restaurants. Owner is very nice and hospitable. So lucky to have a place like this in Morgantown.

This place is a wonderful addition to Morgantown. Best falafel available in Morgantown. Good service and fair prices.

The mixed grill is a real deal - reasonably priced, delicious & fresh. Soup, only one choice - lentil is simple but good. Menu is kebab heavy but well-spiced & tasty. Daily specials make for a nice change. Service us a little slow. Use of plastic utensils & styrofoam is highly insensitive to the environment.

Food was good but overpriced, service was awful. I won't be back.

Jasmine Grill is the newest restaurant to inhabit the location most recently held by the Golden Finch. As a huge fan of Gyros, grape leaves, and other associated fare, we decided to give it a try after after hearing good things from friends. When you first enter the restaurant you are greeted by a comfortable atmosphere, but ordering is a bit confusing. There are no signs to point out whether you order at the counter, seat yourself, or what. Taking a guess, we made our way to the counter, found and grabbed a few menus, and took a seat in a cool window nook where you could observe outside passings by. Taking in the decor, it was quaint and welcoming to the middle eastern population and others alike. There was middle eastern music playing from a tv on the wall and there were also areas where there were ethnic products on display for purchase. Deciding to get a few things so that we could split them and try more, we went with grape leaves and Falafel as appetizers and a Gyro(because you gotta try everyones) and a Shish Tawook sandwich for entrees. We got them as combos which came with a drink, and oddly enough, french fries. Our order was taken at the counter by a friendly employee with the biggest issue being a language barrier. Communication was not clear about whether we needed to wait for our food or if it would be brought to us. We stood awkwardly for a short time before finally being told it would be delivered to us. The Gyro and Falafel was brought out first with the Shish Tawook and grape leaves following soon after. The employee explained that the Shish Tawook took a little longer to prepare. Drinks were from a fountain machine and had been given to us when paying. Falafel was new to us both and 5 balls came on a plate with a small cup of tahini sauce. The falafel was warm, had a great flavor, and was complimented well by the sauce. It was very comforting much like a hush puppy. The grape leaves were not our favorite, but they were still very good. You received 5 of those as well. We have had different preparations and had them served warm and cold in other places. These were vegetarian, very cold, and were citrusy and just enough sour. The filling was not liked by my gf but I enjoyed it. The sandwiches provided mixed results. The gyro was honestly the least favorite that we both had ever had. While the taste wasnt horrible, there were issues with it. The bread was advertised as pita but it was super thin and looked and tasted like a flour tortilla. The meat was clearly not spit meat and appeared to be thin pre-sliced and steak-um like in consistency. There wasnt much meat on it as well. The SHISH TAWOOK on the other hand was very delicious. The chicken was flavorful and smoky and the garlic cream sauce was tangy and refreshing. There were french fries and tomato on the sandwich alsol which completed it well. Again, didnt seem like pita bread, but was more so like than on the Gyro. As a side note, the fries that accompanied the sandwiches appeared to be store bought crinkle cut, but they came cooked to my liking and with a small cup of ketchup. Overall I was satisfied with my meal but not blown away. The food was definitely something id eat again except for the gyro, and there are a few other options on the menu that looked intriguing. Language barriers made certain communication difficult, but the 2 employees we dealt with were both very friendly. The guy who delivered our food asked if we enjoyed our food as we were discarding our trash and we informed him we did. (I should have told him though that the overwhelming stench of the cleaning product he was using to clean the table next to us while we were eating was less than appetizing though...but at least its a clean establishment right? ha). Jasmine Grill is worth trying out, but I will stick to getting my gyros from up the street.
