Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Very friendly attentive staff. The inside is very nice and has a modern sit down energy. For 8.50 I got the all you can eat pasta with a side of bread and salad. It was extremely well made. The staff came to us many times to check how we are doing. Overall a very very nice experience. Definitely coming back.

I was visiting Morgantown and checked out Yelp for places to eat and we picked High Steer Pasta Co. Their hours said they closed at 10. I walked in the door at 9:01pm and the man told me they were closing and we couldn't sit down but he could have the kitchen make me something to go. He was super rude to us and we watched him shoo a couple who was sitting down to eat. I would not return if I'm ever in the area.

I love this place. I have been here twice, and never been disappointed. For $8.50, you get all you can eat pasta, a salad, and bread. You choose your pasta, sauce, and salad dressing (go with Gorgonzola, you won't regret it). They recently started adding chicken to their salads, and they have locally-sourced meatballs for $2.50 each. Some people won't like that they don't have ranch, but to them I say: "branch out! It doesn't always have to be ranch!" The music and atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the employees are always courteous and talkative. High Street Pasta Co. is a wonderful addition to the Morgantown restaurant scene.

Visited on a Saturday at 5:30 and no one else was there. Not one person walked in the whole hour we were there. Hmmm....Not kid friendly at all. No high chairs, no kids menu to order from. The food was bland and unimpressive. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Visited here for lunch. The menu is $8.50 for all you can eat pasta with a side salad and bread. When we stopped in, there was a special for a single bowl of pasta, side salad, and bread for $6.50 so we opted for that. The salads were good, we ordered Italian and creamy Italian and both were delicious. We both ordered spaghetti with meat sauce which left some to be desired but it's spaghetti so it's hard to make that much different, but it could've been warmer and a little more flavorful. The real negative of the meal was the bread. It was a tiny piece of bread that was cold and extremely bland. The service was fast, and the dressings were great. Everything else was average.

Gave this place a shot since I was in the area. Very disappointed. The place has a sit-down type of atmosphere but the ordering process is more like take out. Very limited menu and the food leaves much to be desired...everything I tried was bland and unimpressive. I know this place is new, but the food has to be good for me to want to come back. I would not recommend.

I really enjoyed this place and thought the atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming. the concept of unlimited pasta without it being buffet style is awesome. you order up front your choice of noodle and sauce and they bring it out to you when it's ready along with a side salad and bread. when you're finished your plate they ask if you'd like another round of your choice. I got their Alfredo which definitely needed a little bit more flavor and the temperature of my meal could have been hotter- but I mean come on, it's pasta... you can't really go wrong here. Definitely a place I would recommend. I think it has potential and I would love to see it stick around.
