Healthy Meal suggestions for Ruby Tuesday

My sister and i had dinner this evening and all was good. I ordered the cajun ribeye- which was a perfectly cooked medium and she got the seafood trio with lobster. Only disappointment was that our southwestern rolls in our appetizer was a bit overdone. Apart from that our waiter was polite, friendly and helpful

Im extremely critical of restaurants and i have nothing but good things to say about this place who's reviewing here? Cant believe rated so low! We went in last week our server was excellent unfortunately he smelled like an Abercrombie and Fitch store at the mall but was attentive, kind and fast. The food was excellent like always and I'd chose this over most of the busier chain restaurant's on foxcroft ave. The food strip of martinsburg. The drinks were not watered down, the host at the door was not stuck up like most of them lol just quiet and kind like it should be so many hostesses and servers forget YOUR THERE TO SERVE THE CUSTOMER but not here everything was top notch almost a 5 star.

We had a terrible experience at lunch today! It took us more than 30 minutes to get our food - burgers - in a nearly empty restaurant. The burgers were super greasy - we had no napkins and never saw our server again! When the food was delivered by another server we asked for mayo that never came. The nasty food made my stomach churn and I could only eat half. Our server sent someone else with our check or we would've complained. We left a standard tip only because the wait would be forever to get our change. I would not ever eat there again!

Served my 13 year old an Long Island ice tea and when we spoke to the manager de didn't even discount our meal. Food took 40 min. to come to the table. Food was not worth the price.

Service and wait staff were excellent. The steak I ordered medium was grilled exactly as ordered. Which is a small miracle when dining in a chain restaurant. My glass was never empty and the sides were just add expected. They could have gotten 5 stars if the appetizers were priced a bit cheaper. In total the appetizer and entrey with no alcohol came to $34.00. It was good enough to say I would gladly come back again.

I am giving it three stars because the serving staff are well trained, friendly, and accommodating. Otherwise the quality of food could use some improvements. My ravioli was not cooked all the way through, and the cheese biscuits were too dry and not hot either. Perhaps they need to take a good look at their kitchen appliances.

This was a total waste of time and money. 2 entree's and 2 beers came to $43, get real. No appatizers and no dessert and it's still $40+? Even with the $10 coupon it was not worth the money. The salad bar would have been an additional $3 each. Food was decent, but not as good as it should be. While we were there we heard the manager apologize to two different parties. 3 groups of people not happy at the same sitting is a sign. Outback is much better and a much better value. I will NOT frequent another Ruby Tuesday again!

My wife, daughter and I looked forward to a nice dinner at what is supposed to be one of the nicer restaurants in o small town. I was surprised at the sub-par experience. The evening started off a bit shaky when our server referred to my daughter's mom as her "Grammy". In fairness, I could pass for our daughter's grandfather, so it's an easy mistake to make. She apologized for the mistake and we told her not to worry about it. But she spent the entire rest of our visit referring to "Momma" "Mommy" "Mumsy" and so on, in apparent atonement for having made the mistake. That got very, very annoying. The food: My wife ordered a flatbread pizza and the salad bar. The pizza was simply inedible. I had a piece, my wife had a piece, and our daughter only had one bite. It had a strange taste that resembled cheese turned bad. Maybe the other flatbread pizzas are good, but this one was awful. My wife didn't even bother to bring the pizza home in a to-go container (and there was a LOT of uneaten flatbread pizza). I ordered a half-rack of ribs, onion rings and baked potato. Unfortunately, the food arrived when I was away from the table and I couldn't express my concerns immediately. The ribs were fine. But... The baked potato was very small, and it looked like it collapsed onto itself. It was so overcooked and loaded with butter that it was like eating mashed potatoes inside a soggy potato skin. But at least it was still edible. The onion rings were clearly over-coooked. I bit into one and I imagine that's what it would be like if I ate the crust that I clean out of the bottom of our oven every six months. I set the onion rings aside and continued with my meal. It was only when I was about done with the meal that the server returned to our table and noticed the uneaten onion rings. She asked if there was a problem, and I explained my concerns. She said (paraphrasing), "You know, I thought they looked over cooked when they came out of the kitchen. I should have said something then." Um, YEAH! If the food is clearly not prepared right, DON'T SERVE IT! The server offered to bring me a fresh plate, but since my dinner was nearly done, I told her it was too late. She offered to bring us a cupcake as a gesture, but we weren't interested. (By the way, she also noticed that the flatbread pizza was mostly uneaten, although I don't remember if she asked if there was a problem with that,) So here's the score... Flatbread pizza (entree) - inedible Salad bar - fine Ribs (entree) - fine Baked potato - mushy and disgusting but edible Onion rings - inedible There was no offer to adjust our bill or to give us a gift card for a future visit. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Ruby Tuesday anytime soon. I sincerely hope the restaurant's management reads this review. Customers expect MUCH better than what we experienced.

All right - really??? The place was fairly decent. I wouldn't eat the salad bar, but then again I wouldn't eat most of them... the food I had was prepared very well - drawn/clarified butter for the lobster tails (not melted butter patties...). I was impressed with the food - $6.75 for a beer was a tad extreme for the area though, so if you're coming here to drink I suggest getting drunk elsewhere. That is probably the reason for the other complaints on prices... the food is priced well - it's the liquor that is over priced.

This place sucks, I ordered take out, they forgot half of my order so I had to go back. While I was there I overheard one of the servers tell a costumer she was so drunk last night that when she came to work today she was still a little drunk. I don't recommend this place at all.

Service was courteous and responsive, under the circumstances. Came here with a $10 promo coupon, and the meal for two, no drinks or desserts, came to $39 with the coupon factored in (otherwise, $49). Wife had chicken wings, asked for mild with spicy buffalo sauce on the side (to add heat to taste) and they came hot and spicy. She also had a 14 oz ribeye steak with side salad and onion rings. The side salad never came, and we didn't really notice because the steak she ordered rare (red and cool in the middle) came almost MEDIUM (less pink and hot in the middle). She asked for a rare steak and the next one came out medium rare (pink and warm). She found it very chewy and tough. I suggested she try another part of it...still tough. I had the half-rack of ribs, steamed fresh broccoli, baked potato, and salad bar. The salad bar was as expected. I didn't see anything "rancid" as the other review lamented. But the broccoli was overcooked. Potato was average. The ribs were dry and overcooked with too much sauce. I have only frequented Ruby Tuesdays a few times in the past few years, and this location is like the others. They charge too much and the food you get is pretty miserable. I am amazed they stay in business. If I spend $50 for a dinner, with one appetizer and no drinks and no desserts, my expectation is that they would prepare it better than I can do so at home, and that they will add some nice touches and flavoring. None of this seems possible here. I mean, if you go to a place like Waffle House, you pay less and you expect less. At least they provide the meal for you and frequently you have a great experience for chump change, Then there are places where you pay less (Ledos) and you get a whole lot more, far exceeding expectations every time at every location. Rather than go through the list of disappointments with the server or manager, (we didn't even care if the outcome was a comped meal), my wife and I pledged not to return to Ruby Tuesday EVER, and if we want steak, to go to a real steakhouse. I tend to favor Texas Roadhouse and Texas Steakhouse (two different chains) because they seem to get it right every time with their service and with the quality and preparation of their meals.

I rather not eat then to go back to this place. Most restaurants in martinsburg have over processed and super greasy food but this is beyond gross. All the food has super high levels of MSG. You are better of going to MCDonalds. It's really nasty. the food taste gross. The server was annoyed at some other server and you can tell. The only positive is that is was a clean place. I mean I hate McDonalds but I would go there before i would here. Keep in mind that I had Ruby Tuesdays in Loudon County. VA cater my rehearsal dinner and it was AMAZING! I don;t know what they do in this place... GAG!
