Love this place!! Service is almost always great!! There's usually a wait on Sat and Sun, but you can always shop/browse in the store! Love the food and haven't had a bad thing yet!! One time our service wasn't up to par, so they sent a manager out and gave us our drinks free for our "hard time" we had!! Very friendly people, organized "waiting" system and a clean restaurant!!

We had a very good luncheon here today. Wife had the reuben sandwich, with side salad and cole slaw. She enjoyed it enormously. It had quite a bit of corned beef, and was tastey (I had two bites). I asked about the beef brisket. On a special they had an open sandwich on garlic toast. I asked if they had a "platter" and they said, yes, it was "off menu" but they could fix it with two sides, so I ordered brisket, side salad, and cabbage. They brought the sandwich with cole slaw (not my waitress, another server). I said that I ordered the platter and not the sandwich, and the server insisted it wasn't on the menu and that is what was available because everything was portioned out, yadda yadda. Then the regularly assigned waitress came by and realizing what was going on, offered to take it up to the manager. I commented that whenever I have asked for a modification, the restaurant can make it happen. She said she'd do what she could. The manager came over and apologized and said, yes they can fix a platter and it was brought out soon thereafter. The waitress also apologized for any mixup. I was OK with all of that, but a bit surprized that the first server (delivery person) made such a big deal out of it. In any event, we had a good experience overall and would return. I also gave the regular waitress a decent tip for her efforts and kindness in making the situation right when really what's the big deal!

What can i say its Cracker Barrel. The food is good if bland and it is reasonably priced. The service is usually pretty good as well. The last time I went there were a few miss steps but nothing meal ruining. My parents love the place.

Always love this place. Haven't been to a bad one yet. This is a great spot to stop especially if you have an RV like we do. They have special parking. We had the chicken and dumplings and the meatloaf both were excellent. Carrots and corn were very good! Can't count the calories here!

I frequent Martinsburg for business and so when I'm in town chain restaurants seem to rule. This is the one of the few chains I don't completely cringe about. Good breakfast, service with a smile, and I can play games while I wait for my food solo. I always enjoy exploring the country store for throwback candy and games.

I wanted to do an update. We stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were told it was a 15 minute wait, but ended up being about 30 minutes. We were seated and it took forever for our waitress to come. We ordered and it was about 45 minutes for our cold food to arrive. I watched people arrive at other tables and they were not even waited on. Some of those people just left the restaurant. Should have went to Bob Evans. Two hours of my day wasted on breakfast.

came here for bk one day and lunch another day. had good service both days. there is a game on almost every table to play. we got the peg game both times. food came out fast and service was good. I had the any meat buiscuit so I got ham. you get three small buiscuits with country ham. the biscuits are really light and fluffy. the hash brown caserole is different and has cheese in it. wifey got the biscuits and gravy. I had a taste of the gravy. it did have a lot of sausage flavor, but I thought it was a little salty. wifey loved the biscuits. Mom had the yogurt parfait with the muffin. the muffin was huge. she ended up taking that home. for lunch I got the chic fried steak. you get 3 sides. our waitress recommended the fried apples. wifey got the chic and dumplings. she really loved them. the carrots were so-so. we all liked the fried apples. i forget what mom got. i'll have to edit this later. the coleslaw was also good, not too sweet and not too drenched in dressing. the potatoes were nothing to write home about. they also have a nice kitchy boutique area. I got some WV hats, my wifey got a very nice skirt. it can be a bit pricey, but they also had some things on sale. there are also giant checker games, two outside, at least one inside and you can sit at them and play checkers, no one seems to steal the pieces, or if they do, I suppose they just replace them.
