As a vegetarian, finding food in Fayesttsville and Beckley was so difficult. Luckily, this place was easy, affordable and great! This family owned joint was so helpful they made us a custom dish with veggies, no eggs, fish or oyster sauce and served it up in no time. Thank you so much. For the first time that weekend, we were able to eat something that wasn't just fries and bread.

First time a 4.5 Yelp review let me down, when I see 4.5 stars I just go to it. The food was okay, a combo plate and single plate are both $13 so go for the combo. The curry chicken and noodles were good, the veggies and dumplings were not, the same with the catfish. My 7 year old son gave it two stars as he only liked the noodles and rice. Service was friendly, cafeteria style food down to the Styrofoam plates.

Absolute gem. You must eat here if you are in the area. Just driving along and see the name Country Thai.. Intrigued? Yes!! Very clean and new looking. When you walk in there is a sign: New here? Go that way and an arrow pointing you to the left. You get your green school cafeteria tray (nostalgic) and go to the window where the very polite young man explains what he has available for the day. I got the combo platter which was a little bit of everything he had. Curry chicken, ginger beef, plain sticky rice, fried rice, sweet and sour rice noodles, low mein noodles, chicken dumplings (pot stickers) and vegetable spring rolls. A good portion of each and all of it wonderful! Never really liked curry until this curry. Go and enjoy. We planning on returning as soon as possible!

The combination platter is all of the things that are offered that day. Rice. Rice. Noodles. Noodles. Soup. Curry. Dumplings. Spring rolls. The day we dined the pumpkin curry was out of this world. Yes this is served cafeteria style but each item could stand alone as an entree. If you are famished from a day climbing or paddling this place will fill you up. Unexpected find in West Virginia super close to the AAC campground for climbers and rafting. Food had tons of flavor. Worth a try even though it took me many times driving by to give this place a shot. If you have been to Pies & Pints and Secret Sandwich a time or two give Country Thai a shot. Get the Thai iced tea or a beer on tap.

Absolutely Awesome. Every time I come to the New River Gorge I have to stop here for dinner. It's amazing and never disappoints. The staff are very friendly and courteous.

Buffet-style Thai food. Will it blow your mind? Possibly. Will it leave you utterly satisfied after a long day enjoying the New? You can bet your ass it will. I got the sampler platter - pineapple dish and spiced chicken were really great, everything else was good. Awesome beers on tap. I'll definitely be back.

What a surprise to find this place - right next to the best campgrounds in the area, with excellent food, awesome beers on tap and a clean and stylish dining area. I never would have expected this quality for the location. Grab a sampler platter, nothing will disappoint. My friends and I received excellent service, the owners were all over the kitchen and the dining area ensuring the food was excellent and the service was solid. The husband is a dedicated climber and shared some local beta with us after we finished our meal. Every climber hitting the New should make sure to stop in this place at the end of the day.
