We were traveling to Huntington on a business trip and only had about one night to hit the town. (Small town to begin with). Of all the places you could visit, this place seemed to be the most happening on a Thursday night. Tons of TV's, fairly open atmosphere, and most importantly, an awesome sports bar for hot wings and beer. We stopped by for a quick visit and loved this place. Huge interior, great LCD screens, and big wrap around bar. We ordered the Donkey hot wings, Thai spicy hot wings, and buffalo chicken pizza. Loved every bit of it. Great service. Descent beer selection. 12 tap handles, mostly Sam, Guinness, magic hat, and about 20 bottles including Sierra. Could stand to get more local seasonal beers. Food was solid and beer was descent. If I had to go back to Huntington, this would be my first stop.

This is a typical (Huntington) sports bar. The prices are reasonable but the menu is limited. Basically wings (which tasted pre-battered frozen), burgers (nothing particularly special or interesting - terrible bun. Pre frozen patty). They had some sandwiches on the menu - complete with a picture of what may have been the most unappealing "Italian" I've ever seen. There were also a couple salads. I was kinda looking for a "dinner" and it really wasn't on the menu. Handful of beers on tap. The only thing on special was Bud Select (no thanks- they can pay me to drink that). Huntington is not a Foodie town. Nice city - great people. Unfortunately, the restaurants are poor by any other city's standards. If this place was anywhere else it would be 1.5-2 stars for the TV's.

Went here with my step son and daughter. We liked the area, and decided on Roosters rather than Max and Ermas because I'd been to M&Es lots of times. The prices were quite good. Service was also just fine. Got our drinks and refills quickly. Unfortunately it took almost 45 minutes to get our lunches. My Rooster Burrito was good. Nothing to write home about, but good enough and plenty of it. Wife's Greek salad was also very good and generous portion for the price. My step son had a cheeseburger. His verdict: "it was a burger." Again, nothing special, but good price. My step daughter in law got a BLT. It came without lettuce. WTF? I wanted to complain, but my son's burger had plenty of lettuce with it, so he just handed some over to his wife. Most disappointing item were the curly fries. They were lukewarm and almost white. Someone undercooked them. Should have been obvious, but we were pretty full, running late due to slow service, and wanted to get out of there so I didn't complain about them either. I suppose I could have given them 3 stars because the price was so low, but I'm used to much better and there are so many other similar casual dining chains within 2 blocks that I'd recommend avoiding Roosters in Huntington WV. If you want a place to go for a game and beer and maybe appetizers, I'd give this three stars, but I wasn't there for that this time.

Rooster' started in Dayton OH back in 1989 and have really expanded since. Easily the most popular restaurant in Columbus. There are now around 22+ locations and seem to be growing at an enormous rate. I've been eating @ Roosters since the 90's, I eat there at least 2-3 times a month, and have yet to tire of it. It is one of my two favoritie restaraunts, regardless of price. Same thing every time. 10 drums extra crispy, my sauce flavors vary from donkey bbq to hot garlic., Cajun chicken salad w/ ranch, loaded potato skins, celery w/ blue cheese and I wash it all down with a nice cold beer. Just talking about me is making me hungry. I think I'll head there now. bizjournals.com/columbus…

Ok food, awesome TV set up for the games. Overall friendly staff. But must important, really good ice cold beer!

Their hot wings are GINORMOUS (I mean, seriously big) and very, very good and that's enough for me to give it three stars. The other things I've had there are "okay". The fries, for instance, are usually sort of limp and if you get them with cheese it's a liquid cheese sauce. But, still, I'll keep going back just for the wings.

Consistently great food and attentive servers. Everything on the menu I've ever ordered has been great.

Chicken was ok, too much sauce. Cheesebread was a little too tough.

Good variety on the menu, and always quick service. I'm a fan of day drinking at the bar, and the Italian sub. The place is always busy, and the food is pretty good-Rooster Chips with blue cheese dressing, hello!! Lots of tv's so everyone can watch what they want-I'll definately be here during football season.

Roosters is easily my favorite wing place hands down. We've always had great service, and our food is always piping hot. I'd say it's comparable to Hooters, but with better food, lower prices, and less skin showing when you're being served your food. I always get medium bone in wings, all drums. The sauce soaks into the breading wonderfully, making the wings much less messy to eat. You can also get them with extra sauce if you like that sort of thing! This is a great place to catch a game and enjoy your meal while doing so!

Terrific sports bar-themed restaurant with good food and friendly service.

My bf and I have been here a handful of times to watch football. It kind of reminds me of a family oriented sports bar. They have a full bar with big screens that go completely around, and tv's on every wall. It's impossible to sit in that place and not have a good view of the game. The service is always great, it seems like they have a whole army of servers there all the time. The wings, deep fried mac and cheese and their peanutbutter cake was awesome. They also seem to have happy hour deals on appetizers and drinks for each day of the week. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

My wife and I came here for dinner last evening. Cynthia from the bar was our server. She gave us exceptional service! We were seated for less than 5 minutes and she had my wife's soda and an expertly poured pitcher of beer waiting for us! Now for the food, I had ordered boneless wings and some dumpster fries (yum) and my wife ordered the chicken ceasar sub. The only complaint I had this trip was our food was slightly overcooked. The chicken was dry in both of our dishes. However with that being said, the food was still delicious and Cynthia begged us to send it back and make it right. If you're looking for tasty wings and ice cold beer, this is the spot!

3 words equal delicious: Thai Chili Wings, Bomb! I might have given a 5 star but no Guinness. This is a real nice Sports Bar, food was great, service fast & reasonably priced. I really liked the # of TV screens, and the varied programming , great mix of college and pro basketball to watch. Like McArthur "I shall return"

Minus the time it took for our food to come out, everything was good. The kids at for under $5 and their meals came with two sides, one in which was a great looking salad with mixed greens, tomato, cheese, and ranch dressing. It's hard to find healthy food in the area, so I was excited to get a salad in my kids. I had a grilled chicken salad with their homemade red rooster dressing. It was like French. For the atmosphere, there are tvs everywhere you look! This place is huge!

I came here with a friend for dinner. Our waitress took our orders, brought us our food and then told us that they were closing the section we were sitting in but not to feel like they were trying to get rid of us, and to stay as long as we wanted. She did not come back to our table after that. We finished our food, and after sitting there for almost 20 minutes, my friend got up and asked the girl sweeping near our table of we could get a box and our bills. She brought us a box. Sat there for another 10 minutes and I finally got up and asked one of the girls working up at the front counter if she could get our bills for us. The food was good, but the service was bad enough that I don't plan to go back again. I could almost understand if they were packed. While it was a Saturday night, by the time we got there it was certainly not swamped.

Since my first visit, this place has upped it's game! Great bartenders, good food and great beer specials! A go to spot downtown!

I don't know what everyone is talking about, this is the worst wings I have ever had, period!
(1)Michael M.
Really good wings. They have boneless and traditional to choose from. I usually go for Boneless, good size, always all white meat. The traditional wings are not your average wing from like say Quaker Steak, they large and usually have two joints. Not as much meat on the traditional in my opinion. Atmosphere is great for a sports fan. Lots of TV's they have NFL Sunday Ticket as of 12/2014. Great bar, about 8 draft selections. Service is OK.
(4)Tyler S.
Definitely a bar food type of place. I've only had the wings, but they were absolutely fantastic and gigantic. Great place to go for the football games on Sundays for some cheap beers and good food. The staff is friendly and it's in a great location. Every time I meet a really down to earth great girl in town, she happens to work at Roosters haha. Great place!
(4)Amy R.
My boyfriend loves the wings & different sauces. The salads are pretty good & you can get half sizes. Service however is hit and miss. Pretty much your basic sports bar.
(3)William S.
The food quality won't be worth writing home about, but that is OK because this place is so freaking cheap. On top of that, the portion sizes aren't huge - which is great for those of us who are watching what we eat.

Love the shrimp with gold sauce for an appetizer. The wings are always delicious. I love the location... usually go to Roosters then the movies. Gino's pizza may have the better traditional wings though. They win boneless wings hands down.
