Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I had a delicious dinner there. The service was prompt and excellent. The salad was fresh with tomato, black olive, green pepper, and cheese. The homemade spaghetti was fresh and yummy, the sauce red and tangy. The price was very reasonable. They're only open Monday through Saturday, 12 noon to 7 pm for dinner on weekends, and 12 - 8 on Friday and Saturday. They have a bar, but it's completely separate. I highly recommend this restaurant to any hungry person!

The food was good, but the place needs a serious remodel/updating. 1972 at it's finest. Remodel, clean up, and update and the rating will go higher.

A true classic staple in Follansbee. The owner Delores is 85 years old and still walks to the market to get all the fresh ingredients and makes everything by hand. This place is truly a dining experience with the atmosphere is as if you walked back into the 70's. Awesome food with an awesome staff. If I could give this place 6 stars I would.

They're wing dings are absolutely awesome and the fish sandwich is literally bigger than my head. And the prices can't be beat. If you want to hang out at the bar or dine at the tables it's a great place to relax and enjoy.

My aunt and I went here after visiting our uncle in Avella. It was a Tuesday night and most of the places we tried were either closed or were bars. We were the last customers for the night (they close at 7PM early in the week), and we ordered spaghetti and gnocchi with meatballs. The food came within ten minutes and was hot, fresh, homemade, and delicious. The meatballs were tender, as were the gnocchi. The spaghetti was very good, and the sauce was nice and sweet, but not too much so. The interior's a bit dated, but who care's as long as the food is good. If I'm ever in Follansbee again I'll be back! Good homemade food, just like it should be.
