Fast food order, with diner service? It's just weird. The food is edible, but not noteworthy. The service is somewhere between fast food and short-order cook. My advice? Hit Bob Evens just down the road.

The Biscuit World sign caught my eye when we were in Beaver, West Virginia. A world full of biscuits? Sounds like heaven to me. I did a quick search on Yelp and learned there are three locations in the near vicinity to our white water rafting adventure. Biscuit World would be the perfect post rafting, high carb and fat treat. I could hardly wait. The '70s aesthetic of the Fayetteville location is fantastic. Yellows, browns, old school menu board, hard plastic booths; it all made for a great experience. It took me forever to narrow my biscuit sandwich choice to the Ron, which includes sausage, egg and cheese. My husband decided upon the Eagle with Canadian bacon, egg, cheese and hashbrowns. The biscuits weren't too overly greasy and were nice and fluffy, perfectly complementing the heavily caloric toppings. The sweet tea was fresh brewed and was nice and sweet, just how I like it. The verdict? I could see myself becoming Biscuit World regular if I lived in West Virginia.

I have a terrible time taking my father out to eat because he is a vegan. Thanks to this Tudor's he can go and have a lettuce, tomato and onion sandwich with fries. He loves to go out to eat now. The staff also try to be so helpful and are always so nice. Thank you.

After dealing with the Dunbar Tudor's and their penchant for grease laden, overcooked, undercooked food - I have been rather ambivalent about Tudor's restaurants. However, all that changed when my husband and I stopped at the Ansted Tudor's (coming back from a weekend getaway). The food was amazing!!! So amazing, in fact, that we commended the manager who in turn passed the compliments to the cook. The biscuit was just perfect (I would be hard pressed to find a better biscuit anywhere), the home fries were perfectly cooked (fresh, hot, crisp outside and tender inside), and the scrambled eggs were not swimming in a pool of yellow grease. I will only be met with disappointment from here on out when dining at my local Dunbar Tudor's because now I know how good a Tudor's breakfast can be!

The world's greatest breakfast biscuit of all time=The Thundering Herd. Get it. You won't be disappointed. Great service, friendly people, we stop by every time we are in town visiting my in-laws.

Starchy biscuity fluffiness! Tudor's biscuit world is magnetic and a West Virginia staple. After you see a couple on the road, somehow its force just pulls you in... They advertise themselves to have hundreds of biscuit combination possibilities, so Matt and I decided to go for their 5 for $5.95 deal.. Two of us can polish off 5, right? Wrong! Ugh- I felt ill after one and a half biscuits and Matt was done after about the same.. My suggestion is that you order biscuits with some sort of either melty or non-dry item on it.. Some of the combos, like the ones with just a hash brown on it, or the one with just pepperoni on it, are kind of dry and less interesting than you would hope. The ones that had egg on them were good, consistency-wise. Biscuit World, now that I've tried you, I would feel ok just driving on by a few for more times.. until that magnetic pull pulled me back, next road trip!

I heard about Tudor's and it seems like a MAJOR local institution in West Virginia. So I had to go check it out while I was in the area. First of all, this location is BUSY! But service was still good. The young man (teenager, dark hair) delivering food was especially exceptional. He was so courteous and polite while bringing our meals to us, that was a nice touch. My girlfriend had sausage gravy over biscuits. That entree was not too great. Good biscuits, but a pasty, chalky gravy and lack of sausage left us wanting more. I had egg, ham and cheese on a biscuit. The biscuit was very tasty. It was flaky and moist. The egg was perfect, the ham was nicely thin shaven, but the cheese was a tad runny. Overall, the sandwich was very good, just a bit too salty for my taste. But I'd return to eat here again. Recommended. It's a local must-do.

I wanted something different. Tired of burgers, mexican, pizza and chinese. Food had good flavor. Not too greasy. Biscuit sandwiches are huge!! Place is clean. Only problem with this trip was that my corn was ice cold. Kinda like they took it out of the can and dumped it on the plate.

Fried Chicken Biscuit; It was good. I drowned it in Texas Pete. Very sweet tea... Biscuits are hard to rate. This place was exactly what I was expecting and I got it. They use cheese sauce instead of cheese slices. Otherwise I'd give them a 5 star rating on the Biscuit scale.

We stopped by here after our weekend camping trip at the Gorge. The meat platter order is decent, and you get a choice of a meat, eggs any way you want it, hash brown, and a biscuit. Their biscuits and gravy are also tasty and the biscuits are cooked to perfection. This is a great place to go if you're on a budget and want a quick breakfast. It's more of a fast food joint, as in you order what you want at the counter and pay, but they have a person deliver the food to your table so you don't have to stand and wait.

I got the Ron biscuit it was very big and plump. Very good texture and taste. One biscuit is like a dinner.

That was a really big biscuit! DH and I were in town. There is not a lot in the area but anything with "biscuit" in the title, I am going to have stop and try. I would much rather try something local than a chain. They have every kind of biscuit you and think of with every kind of thing you can think of served on your biscuit. While we came for breakfast, it is not just for breakfast. For this visit, DH and I each decided on the Miner's Combo, which was a giant biscuit with bacon, cheese and hash browns all served on your biscuit. And if that was not enough potatoes for you, there is a side of hash browns too. Best of all, the big biscuit did not fall apart in your hands when eating your tasty breakfast treat. What's not to love? Daughter decided on the Little Tater, which is a small bowl of home fries, eggs, cheese, bacon all tossed together, along with a big old biscuit on the side - all for $3.99. If that was the Little Tater, I can't imagine what the Big Tator must look like! We all stuffed ourselves for around $16. DH and I did not need to stop to eat for the rest of our road trip back to Richmond! Good service. Good value. Be sure to stop by if in the area.

If you want your breakfast to make you go back to sleep, this is your spot. The "Ron" (sausage egg and cheese sammie) is always on point, with a serious heavenly biscuit. For dinner options, I tried the steak fried chicken with Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. The food coma was equal to the breakfast. The coffee and tea are also delicious. The staff is super friendly and attentive for a non full-service restaurant. They don't have a tip jar that I can see, but I always leave a few bucks on the table for the helpful ladies.

There isn't much to choose from in Oak Hill so we went to Tudor's Biscuit World for breakfast, next to Highlawn Cemetary. It was what you would expect from fast food breakfastt restaurant.

What a great way to end a vacation. Saw Biscuit World while heading to the rapids, and we figured it'd make a cool place to stop on our way out. We were right. Hands down, the best home made biscuit I have had. I love it when the nooks and cranny's are still just a tad crispy when you bite into the biscuit. Easily stood up to the sausage gravy too, which was delicious. Of course, how can you go wrong finishing off with fried cinnamon apples? I am sure this will become a standard on our trips out there.

Tudors Biscuit world has huge biscuits.Crispy and buttery. I ordered the herd biscuit sandwich and it was really good.It not like your typical flat sausage patty. It was meaty and flavorful. The egg was fluffy. The potato component was a bit misleading...partially because I thought it was pieces of potato not a hashbrown but it was still good. Overall service is a little slow...it's table side service so be patient with the best boys they try.

The staff is super sweet and I always work up a craving for Tudors every time I'm on my way into town. I'm glad they are finally open later in the day than just til lunch.

Walked in to this place and was overwhelmed by their biscuit-fied menu. Heard a bunch of other people order the 2 biscuits with gravy, so jumped on in. The biscuits and gravy was pretty darn good actually.

Several of my friends and ALL of the locals recommended this place to us so we figured we'd check it out on our way out of town... And I'm so glad we did! After looking at their menu online, I was expecting them to only have a small selection of breakfast sandwiches, but to my surprise they offered a huge menu to include biscuits and gravy and eggs made to order however you'd like! I had the super breakfast which came with two eggs ( I had them over easy) your choice of sausage or bacon, hash browns, a huge homemade biscuit with gravy on the side and a side of cinnamon apples... All of it was incredible! The staff was extremely friendly and the service was quick. I would go back in a heartbeat!!
