The best breakfast egg sandwich I have EVER had! Very laid back and welcoming atmosphere, and it seems like everyone knows everyone.

This was very good food at a great price. Simple, nothing fancy, but delicious and lots of it. Then we had rhubarb pie for dessert. It was out of this world wonderful!

My husband and I just returned from a long weekend trip to Blackwater Falls. I wasn't too sure about this place initially since there weren't a lot of reviews, but we love trying out new places for breakfast and figured we'd give it a shot. We both really liked this place. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The food came out quickly and it was quite delicious. It was also a good value- pancakes, bacon, eggs, and toast for $7. It has a nice "mountainy" feel to it and we'll definitely be stopping back during our next trip.

This inconspicuous place, located in the 2nd floor of a motel, was where I stopped for dinner after a long day of hiking in neighboring states. I ordered the West Virginia Ham Dinner - my plate was groaning with two large ham slices, home fries, baked beans, a piece of cornbread and slices of tomato and onion, all for a VERY reasonable price! I couldn't even eat it all. I LOVE THIS CAFE! I had no hesitation stopping there the next morning for breakfast.

I was just happy that they were open at 6 a.m. after driving all night to beat a snow storm. Service was great, but I don't recommend the steak for breakfast. Everything else was fine.

Homemade Breakfast Seat yourself and pick from pancakes, biscuits, meats, and eggs. The biscuits were tender and big. I enjoyed a regional specialty - buckwheat cakes with sausage. They are tastier than they look. The toast my daughter got was barely toasted with a lot of butter. Maybe perfect for some but not for me. Good coffee, good service.... It's simple food and a good value. Check it out.

The food is great! The servers are also really nice. I recommended the Mountain top Breakfast because it has basically everything.

This restaurant is in the Alpine Lodge in Davis, WV. We ate breakfast here on a Sunday morning around 9am. It was not crowded. Everything was your normal country cooking style food. I was not overly impressed. Our waitress was very nice and said she had been there for 20 years. I was surprised to not find another review on Yelp for a place that has been around for so long.

We had breakfast. We had the exact same thing at Bob Evans/Martinsburg the day before and this was 100 times better.

We've been coming here skiing for years , since the 90's. the sawmill was always a solid place for breakfast or diner. Deserts too. Country cookin made from scratch. I was here motorcycling July 2012 , stopped for breakfast and ended up eating here everyday at least once sometime twice the 5 days we were in the area. Give it a try. The prices are reasonable , the staff is friendly. I'll stop in whenever I'm in the area. Tip: it's just off route 32 behind the Alpine Lodge,a little north of Hellbinders and Downtown Davis WV. 200 yards or so.

Great homemade bread, soup, turkey, gravy, and other country cooking. Very inexpensive.
