I love it here! The frozen yogurt is delicious! You get to choose your flavor of yogurt and how many flavors you'd like. Also you get to add as many toppings as you want. The prices are reasonable and it's very clean inside. It's a very fun and neat place to go. Also it's inside a book store! :) If your looking for yummy frozen yogurt I highly recommend this place for you.

Totally yummy. Very clean and so cool that this is located inside a book store. Various topping (though I wish they has snickers candy as a topping option).

As you'll learn from many of my Charleston reviews, I am new to Charleston. I travel here weekly for work. Where I live there are no frozen yogurt stores. I originally fell in love with Pinkberry in NY but there isn't one of those anywhere near me either! So Yogurt Mountain is amazing because they have 6+ different flavors of frozen yogurt, like original tart, chocolate, old fashioned vanilla, espresso, white chocolate mousse, blueberry cheesecake, and apple pie. This is a self-serve place priced by weight (I think it's like 59 cents per ounce), so you grab the size bowl you want and go to the yogurt wall to get your yogurt. It's awesome because they have 2 flavor sets and a handle in the middle that lets you combine the two (like apple pie and vanilla, cheese cake and white chocolate mousse). After that you choose your toppings, which you get to pile on yourself. And let me tell you, there is a crap load of them!!! They have a ton of 'dry' toppings, like cookie crumbles, cereal, gummy worms, war head gummy cubes, etc. Then they have some 'fresh' toppings like blueberries, kiwi, mochi (my absolute favorite), raspberries, those little fish-egg-looking things with juice in them, etc. They also have liquid toppings like marshmallow sauce, honey (this is a huge plus as I LOVE honey on tart yogurt and some other places in Charleston didn't offer this), caramel, chocolate, berry. I got a small/medium size cup of yogurt with a ton of blueberries and mochi, topped with a generous amount of honey and my total was $5.50. They weigh it at the end and give you a sweet looking lime green spoon. The price was about the same as Pinkberry for the size; the difference is that at Pink Berry you're charged one price for your size and a set of toppings, and more if you'd like the 'better' toppings added on. At Yogurt Mountain you have a larger selection of toppings and everything is the same price since they weigh it by ounce. I still think Pinkberry is my favorite place, but honestly there is a large topping and yogurt selection at Yogurt Mountain.

Our favorite froyo in Charleston. It has fairly consistent service and is well kept. Other froyo has come and gone in town and they've had 1 or 2 things that this one didn't have, but YoMo is the standard by which we measure all other froyo. I like that the calorie info is on the label so I can size up my intake. It never keeps me from filling my cup nearly to the top (*or towering a little above*), but its nice to know. They have a few staple flavors and try to switch out others as the seasons change.

Yay! I was in the area and was really craving frozen yogurt and was super excited to see that there was one so close to where I was! The yogurt place is actually inside Books-A-Million and was very clean. I have nothing bad to say about the yogurt. I really enjoyed the original yogurt with my favorite topping, mochi, which I was very surprised to see because not all yogurt places carry mochi. I would have rated this place 5 stars; however, took off a star due to customer service. The girl working there was on her phone the whole time and really seemed like she hated being there.. bummer!

Fun place to have froyo. Attached to Books-A-Million. Open and plenty of space to sit. Will be coming here from now on instead of Sweet Frog at the Town Center. I've given up on that place.

For those who've been craving Pinkberry or Yogurtland, Yougurt Mountain is an acceptable alternative. Yogurt Mountain is located inside Books A Million and is a self serve frozen yogurt bar. Lined up against one side are 6 machines that have 2 flavors each and a middle spout that can provide a swirl of both flavors. You grab a cup, pour as much frozen yogurt as you desire then go to the toppings bar. They have a wide variety of fruits, cherries, blackberries, strawberries, etc), cereals (fruity pebbles, captn crunch. lucky charms), and other toppings like cookie dough, vanilla wafers, graham crackers, cheesecake, sprinkle, etc. Then various sauces like Ghiradelli white chocolate, caramel, or chocolate. They even have hot fudge and hot caramel. But what I was excited about was they had multi-colored MOCHI BALLS!! I eat them frequently in my frozen yogurt in california, but now I have access to them in Charleston! Mochi balls are made from glutinous rice and are chewy like gummy bears but have a sweet rice taste to them. Basically, the concept is grab a cup, go crazy with how much frozen yogurt and toppings you want and they weigh it and charge you $0.45/ounce. The people working there were nice and offered tiny sample cups for you to try the frozen yogurt, but please use a NEW sample cup each time you want to try a new flavor. DO NOT get a sample, eat it, then use the same cup to get another sample! From what I remember, the flavors that day were lemon cream pie, lemonade, blueberry tart, tart, coconut, vanilla, triple chocolate, cookies n cream, cherry limeade, cheesecake, expresso... In terms of taste, I had tried cheesecake, blueberry tart, tart. Cheesecake: very creamy but not much of a cheesecake flavor. Althought you could make ure own cheesecake by getting the cheesecake frozen yogurt, graham crackers, and whatever fruit or sauce you want. Also it was a bit watery and melted faster than the other 2 flavors. Blueberry tart: not very tart, and had a slight blueberry flavor Tart: my favorite out of the three. It was pretty tart, something that surprised me a bit since most people will not be used to eating such tart frozen yogurt. But I REALLY enjoyed it! I'll probably return to try more flavors, but probably will save a spot in my cup for my tart frozen yogurt and mochi balls!

Cool spot! You get to choose your yogurt and how much you'd like as many different combinations that you could think of. First of all I looove the fact that it's yogurt...much healthier and tastes almost the same. They have fix-in's that will fit anyone...from fruit to cheesecake crumbles to fruity pebble cereal flakes, you can really get creative. Once everything is made, you pay by weight and they give you a spoon! I really love the concept and really enjoyed my concoction! I wish we had one of these local to me!

I'm growing to hate this yogurt mountain. The yogurt is good, prices are very reasonable, but every last time I've been in here I've had to struggle to get the workers to pay any attention to me and they frequently have their friends in the seating area talking at the top of their lungs and hogging the tables. This has become even more annoying now that you aren't allowed to get your own samples anymore.
