Greek food is a fine melody of the finest pressed olive oil, fresh fermented bread, colorful vegetables, juicy meat, sea food all cooked in spices and fresh rosemary. The people from Greek were great scholars who aimed to excel in everything they do. The results are quite visible in their food as they are the inventors of olive oil which is beneficial to health. Greeks also made different type of wines from the best quality of grapes fermented in controlled environment.

This place is under-rated. It's always good, fresh, and made right in front of you. The lemon rice soup USA bowl of happiness.

Creperi Cafe is so, so delicious! I've been here twice since I discovered it last week. This says a lot since there aren't any other places in Charleston that made me want to do this in such a short time span. After I walked out of there the first time, I was already craving their crepes! So we passed this area multiple times cause I always see it when I'm going to Target or Marshall's. One day- hubby was looking for munchies and decided to stop by Creperi Cafe. I thought that they only sold Crepes so I was so happy to see gyros on the menu! Even though I wasn't hungry- I still ordered away. Despite not being hungry or not in the mood to eat, we devoured everything! The gyro is DELICIOUS! A bit small compared to the others I've had, but tasty and jam packed with flavor. The garlic tzatziki sauce they used is AMAZING and makes a huge difference. Gyros are $5.95. We got the banana, nutella and ice cream crepe and MY GOLLY it was good. Instead of a small layer of nutella, they really smother it onto the crepe. Each bite explodes with sweetness! Dessert crepes are $7.95!

This place has a lot of room to improve. Its odd that its owned by a greek man, so its sort of greek influenced french street food? An interesting prospect. $7 gets you their average crepe, but theres a lot to be desired. I got the turkey crepe, which consisted of approx. 4 slices of lunch meat on a bed of mixed green lettuce with some shredded cheese, tomatoes and onions. The crepe itself was ok but it was just a little disappointing and depressing. My wife got a greek salad which was a very oily dressing without much flavor and a lot of iceberg lettuce. She also got a banana nutella crepe which she said was just ok. Overall its edible food but there should really be no big draw to go out of your way to come here.

My favorite place to eat in Charleston. The mix of Greek and French food (Owner is Greek, his wife is French) is great. I love the Gyros. The Crepes are also magnificent.

Visiting Charleston, I asked my hosts to take me to a local joint to get some food. They took me to Creperi Cafe, which was a brave move since I work in Paris, France and have for several years. I was delighted at the menu. I love Greek food and I love crepes. Best of both worlds! I got the veggie pita. The iceberg lettuce was not great, but then I don't like iceberg lettuce on anything. Someone who likes it on sandwiches might have liked it on their pita. The hummus on the pita was smooth and the tzatziki was delicious. I ate every bite of it, and was able to eat the pita quite ravenously since my host was blind and couldn't see me getting hummus on my face. I have to admit that I was quite skeptical about the crepes. Usually crepes I have in the states are something akin to a pancake rolled into a burrito. I can honestly say that these are the best crepes I have had in the states, and they even beat out some I've had in France. I got the "Crepe d'Amour" which was a steaming hot crepe filled with melty Nutella, raspberries, and whipped cream. The crepe was worthy to be from an authentic Parisian hotspot, and even would have beat out some of its competitors. The restaurant looks like a remodeled Jimmy Johns. Simple tables, a counter where you order and can watch your food be made, refrigerators for the bottled drinks. The ambiance was not great but I would eat here regardless of the lack of kitsch! Don't miss this place if you're in Charleston, especially for the dessert crepes!

Excellent dessert crepes! My husband and I were looking for something sweet after dinner, and this was perfect. Crepes were big enough to share, and they offered quite a few different options. We got the labella crepe (bananas, chocolate, almonds, coconut), and it was incredible! We might be coming back for dessert again tomorrow night. :)

I used to go here all the time and would have given 3 or 4 stars. During my most recent visit, I was disappointed. The chicken in my pita was shredded and really soft and mushy; I'm pretty sure it was the same chicken they put in their soup. I expected chunks of well-seasoned chicken like in the past. It wasn't bad, but that's the only thing I ever order (plus a salad), so I don't know if I'll go back.
