As restaurant BBQ goes in places not in Kansas, Texas or Memphis, this place was above average. The ribs were well smoked and decently tender, but slightly dry and oversauced. The oatmeal stout was a good compliment. Not a bad deal at 20 for food and drink, but for anyone serious about pit BBQ, it won't leave a lasting impression.

Three of us gave this place a go after driving by a few times and seeing plenty of activity in the place over the past few months. We were the first in for the dinner round, the greeting was nice, the service was perfect, the place was decorated with BBQ Pigs stuff as expected, and the expectations were making me hungrier. The place has a lot of items on the menu. Pepsi products and beers (some local I think) to drink. The wife and I had the "2 Can Dine" because she couldn't decide if she wanted pork or chicken (it includes, pork, chicken, short ribs, and brisket, plus 4 sides). The child has chicken fingers and mac n cheese (only because we made her get a meat and not JUST mac n cheese). The salad was good, fresh, plenty of green stuff. The cheese fries came out and were pretty good. The 2 Can Dine came out and the flavor went down hill from here. Generally speaking all of the post appetizer food lacked flavor. The shredded pork and chicken had an odd boiled and woody (not the good kind) of flavor to it. The brisket and ribs were just a step above bland at best. Even the mac n cheese was a bust - it looked OK, it just didn't have much flavor (the wife and child both avoided it and they love mac n cheese). The chicken fingers were decent... they were big and bready and hot, but moist and tasty. The desserts looked good, but we were done trying. The service was great, the place started filling up as we finished up. We left a lot of food and didn't care to take it home in a box (they offered). I had high hopes for this place because of the traffic I see in there, but this encounter just wasn't very impressive. I will give this place another go if I see some other Yelpers having better tasty experiences than we did.

It's just ok, I have ate here twice and I doubt I will be back. The BBQ sandwich has very little meat but tons of slaw so all you taste is slaw. Don't get me wrong I love a lot of slaw but it need too have a lot of meat too. The side are never very good just ok. There are much better bbq places around.

For a BBQ place you would think their BBQ wpuld have more taste! Im pretty sure the BBQ is only tomato paste and sugar. Eww!!!!

For the money it was fine. Certainly B- food, but have realistic expectations. The cow patty dessert was over the top sweet and messy in good ways.

Ribs were very good, fritters also good. Bbq beans ok, coleslaw ok. Tea was good. Great service and entertainment. Would go again. Very casual dining.
