Donuts were delicious, and then the star of the trip : Pepperoni Roll. It was ground up pepperoni, with hot pepper cheese, soft and delicious. I would definitely visit here often if I lived out here. Went to Buckhannon to visit my gf's mom and this was one of the places we ate at. I would come here again.

Definitely try the quixotic Pepperoni Rolls here. If you find yourself roadtriping this part of Appalachia, know that you can sustain on just these soft rolls suffused with the pepperoni and "hot cheese" (made with pepper) tucked inside. But at this ordinary doughnut shop, the extraordinary is that the pepperoni for the filling is ground rather than sliced and the puffy dough is spicy and tangy. For atypical breakfast halt here, chase the Pepperoni Roll with a chocolate glazed donut + Milk and it won't be disappointing.

I was really excited because everyone on here hyped up the pepperoni rolls and donuts. My family road-tripped to West Virginia to see if we could find fun things to do, so we were excited when we decided to go to Buckhannon, thinking it was a cute little town. This seemed like the only place worth going to that we could find. Unfortunately, the food just wasn't anything special. The pepperoni roll was just some ground pepperoni on a store bought roll with some cheese. I expected a baked cheesy roll with full slices of pepperoni, but I basically got a hot pocket instead of the delicious rolls other reviews promised. The donuts were good, but I've had donuts that were just as good at Dunkin Donuts. I'd take Krispy Kreme over donut shop any day. If you're planning on road-tripping to West Virginia, know that there's not much to do here. It's mostly just a run-down suburbia with little to do. I don't mean to be cynical, but the experience was forgettable after being hyped up by the reviews. I'm not sure what other people were thinking. I guess living in West Virginia warps your concept of what "amazing" really means.

Really incredible pepperoni rolls that are made on the premises with shredded pepperoni, made with love. I would recommend the pepperjack cheese with the P-Roll which makes it even better! Also, their bread for the P-Roll is really good. Secondly after trying out a few of their donuts, they are not bad at all considering where you are. Trying just one donut does not justify going there. Also had a cup of coffee which was not bad at all. There was two visits that I should share my experience with everyone: My first visit was at 2am with an intoxicated crowd aimlessly going to the Donut Shop for late night grub. The service I received (while sober) was rude and cold towards the other patrons (Originally it was 4 stars). But don't let this discourage you from going there. However, my second visit was around 10am and it was a much better experience with the service (Now it is 5 stars). I have had pepperoni rolls across North Central W.V. and this is by far my favorite of all of them. There might be better along the I-79 corridor from Clarksburg to Morgantown but, i have yet to find any place that matches Donut Shop.

Wonderful little donut shop. Casual atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious donuts. Inexpensive-- and it's open 24 hours, 7 days a week! Pepperoni rolls are good, too.

Classic American donut shop, damned good.

sure sure the doughnuts are great. but i freakin love their pepperoni rolls. if you don't know what a pepperoni roll is, it's exactly what it sounds like or you can read this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pe… . the ones here are minced pepperoni with in a soft warm roll. they have a variety of cheese including american, mozzarella, and hot pepper. the hot pepper is my absolute favorite. you can get them as is and heat them up later or they'll do it for you. rarely have i encountered such a perfect ratio or cheese to pepperoni to grease to bread. and more just over two dollars each, they end up being a great deal too. after i have a pepperoni roll or too, i like to have a doughnut for dessert and theirs are great. i love their french cruellers and even think they might be better than dunkin donuts. the people who work there are nice. and they also have a drive-through that's actually just a window on one side of the building that may or may not be manned. but they'll come get you soon enough. basically, everything is cheap and delicious so fill up!

The donuts are soft and melt in your mouth good. The place was very busy for a Thursday night. The outside doesn't look like much, but don't let that fool you. The single donuts are .99, but they are worth it. If you get a fill one, it isn't just a little bit in the middle. The whole donut is busting with filling. I definitely want to go back.

This is the premier, best of the best donut shop of the World. It is open 24hrs, and somehow you always pay less than what the donuts are actually supposed to cost. Throughout the day any number of sort will pass through here, from the reddist of redneck to the busiest of businessmen. It is also the late night (4am) crashing place for many a drunk, classier Wesleyan student. The donuts are extremely inexpensive, delicious, and the chocolate eclair has so much cream filling in it that it will almost overwhelm you. By the way, I actually won my one and only "scatch-off" lottery ticket from here!

This place makes the greatest doughnuts--NAY! the greatest of any baked good--I have ever eaten in my life. This marvel of modern science is known as the "peanut butter angel." Imagine a Bavarian cream doughnut that was peanut butter flavored. You're probably thinking to yourself, "Sir, I do not believe that such an invention exists! You are a swearer of false oaths!" But here they are in all their glory. The rub is that they're located in West Virginia. The pepperoni rolls are also pretty good, albeit swimming in grease. The peanut butter angels, though, my God...

Great pepperoni rolls. :)
(4)Seth R.
The best donuts ever....and cheap to boot! My favorite is definitely the Dutch Apple-which is essentially a donut filled with apple pie filling and cinnamon crumples on top. The pizza rolls are also very very good. You will pretty much get the freshest baked goods ever when you visit here!
(5)D. D.
Definitly, the best donuts....much better than Dunkin Donuts. My favorite are the sour cream donuts!
