    Food was decent, ate at the bar. Bartender had a long conversation with another patron about how her tooth came out with all the gory details. Not great lunch atmosphere. Also, loud staff talking/yelling about their work and schedules.

    Been here for about an hour and no sign of food. People who ordered after us got their food about 10 minutes ago. Should've known before stepping foot into a 2 1/2 star place. I've brought shame to the Yelp Elite community. Food eventually came out. Got the filet mignon, the rest of the table ordered a couple appetizers. Filet mignon was tough. Grilled shrimp order for two people came out cold. Blooming onions were ok, but it's pretty hard to mess up throwing battered onions into the fryer. Also got the Mothman IPA, a local craft beer. It's terrible, get one of the bottled beers. To his credit, the manager came out after we told the server that the shrimp was cold. Told him the same thing and he just acknowledged it. What's the point of coming out when you're not prepared to do anything about it? So far, WV has failed to impress on the food front. I'm not expecting 5 star restaurants from drive-by cities, but at least put in a 3 star effort. Edit: we got 30% off our table, so review updated to 2 stars

    I'm giving a 5 star because; 1 The food was great! 2. The server was awesome and she did and brought everything to the table we asked for 3. NO FRUIT flies 4. 2 tables near me cleared just minutes after the customers left 5. Don't read those bad reviews! 6. I'm not from this town. Just passing though, I wrote this review because I wanted to and it's what happened at my late lunch today!!

    Gave it two stars because the dinner was tasty, but it took so long to get we almost called it breakfast. Bar was sticky, bathrooms filthy. We won't be back.

    What a strange lunch. Had a coupon for buy one get one free and checked in with Yelp and Wow FREE Onions. Asked the server if we could use both and she said yes. Ordered Ribeye Sandwich Medium got top sirloin well done. Sent it BACK Ordered Bacon and blue MEDIUM Came back well done Onions were great service was great bread was great asparagus was great Manager would not honor coupon Said we asked first She refused Lost a return customer for $7.00

    Please do yourself a favor and stay away. The place is dirty and fruit flys are everywhere as the bar is so dirty. Thought I would play it safe and get a Btl of wine, worked great till the fruit flys started committing suicide in my glass To bad there is not an option for zero stars RUN FOREST RUN away from this place

    Poor service. Dirty dishes, empty glasses and bottles left in table, the server did not clear items from table. Food was not seasoned, very bland. Disappointing.

    I don't write many reviews. This is my second in 3 years of using yelp on a weekly basis for business travel. After driving for 7 hours i just wanted a place to have a few beers and a dinner without getting in my car after checking into the hotel. This was the only place in walking distance so i ignored previous yelpers. I sat at the bar and had a beer and a shot before ordering. The place didn't seem as dirty as previous reviews mentioned so i decided to roll the dice on the food. After already ordering i noticed a bad smell, almost sewage like. Perhaps it was me or the guy next to me since no one else seemed to notice. I ordered a 6oz sirloin, asparagus, and salad. The steak was really over cooked and the asparagus wasn't fresh. It even had yellow pieces in it. When i got my check i was shocked to find the shot of jack i ordered was 5.50$. The bartender was friendly and the service is the only good experience i had here. Avoid this place if you can. Although as a frequent traveler of out of the way places i can understand the desire to be able to walk for food and a beer after a long day of travel. In a tight spot i would maybe order a few beers and then walk to the Bob Evans next door.

    Got the sirloin steak, mac n cheese, and a side salad. The steak was great and cooked perfectly. The mac n cheese was listed as homemade and tasted like it too. The side salad was also good. The meal came with rolls that were really fresh and tasted great. I signed up for a member reward card (free) which gave an immediate $5 off the bill. Overall, everything was great and I would definitely go back!

    We walked over from the hotel next door for Monday night dinner after a long day of driving. We (2 bigs, 2 littles) were seated quickly and our waitress couldn't have been nicer. She was good with menu suggestions and nice to the kids. I had chili and Caesar salad, tasty and just right portions. Husband had a big double burger cheeseburger and fries -big and greasy, but what he wanted. Kids had a hot dog and fish nuggets. We split a small onion peel. Everything was good except the fish nuggets. Those are just wrong. Shark shaped chicken-y tasting mess. That's the kid's menu for you though. Some of the other servers looked grumpy, and the place wasn't spotless, but we felt like we had a good experience. Convenient to our hotel, which was definitely the deciding factor in picking this restaurant.

    Do NOT eat here! Once I ordered, I realized how nasty the place was. The waitresses gossiped loudly the entire time. I couldn't even eat my steak--I spit it in my napkin! It tasted like manure smells. It makes me sick just thinking about it.

    They have great pictures on the menu (top quality looking rib eyes, e.g.) but serve paper thin steaks. The service tried hard, but the food was such poor quality that no one (group of 7) could finish their food. Greasy fish, a salad that was mostly cheese, beer that was warm (and the wrong kind), and "steaks" that defy the meaning of the word. A Ponderosa "steak" would look like a 5 star meal compared to this thing. My children actually wanted more food after leaving because they could not stomach what we were served. If this place was not stuck between 2 hotels, it would be out of business.

    Just had lunch here. The food was good. The service was great, but it was after the Sunday rush and we did overhear some who were unhappy about the slow kitchen. I had the 6 oz ribeye, with broccoli and a sweet potato. Everything tasted fresh. My husband had the chicken skillet. The waiter forgot to put the skillet sauce on it, but my husband liked it better without added calories, so he got a little on the side. My husband said he really enjoyed his meal. The negatives all seemed to indicate the need for tighter management and maybe a few more employees on Sunday at lunch time. The place was dirty after the rush. The men's room was filthy according to my husband. We had drinks from the bar, which was good. The staff looked like they all needed a drink too!

    Service was iffy at best (waitress didn't know the difference between Cabernet and reisling; forgot to bring set ups, etc). Food portions were tiny and greasy. Benches were wobbly and lumpy. Caesar salad was awful. Ribs were tasty as were the rolls. I do not recommend.

    Waited 10-15 minutes before acknowledged by staff after being seated (the restaurant on had 11 other patrons present). Drink glass was broken. Requested a new glass when waiter came back to deliver salad (15 - 20 minutes after drinks delivered). The new glass of water had paper in the bottom. Ignored throughout the meal, waiter only arrived to deliver food and present check. When our food did arrive it was cold and the order was incorrect. Silverware delivered in a paper towel, while everyone else got napkins. Excuse was we just ran out of napkins. Only offered refills on drinks as we depart. People that arrived 20 minutes after us received their meals as ours were delivered. They had ordered a Steak Slillet as well theirs was sizzling ours you could touch the pan easily. Manager arrives as we are standing up to leave 1 hour after arriving and seems shocked we had a bad experience when in fact he was the one who first observed we had not been helped. He never came back to see if things had improved. He stated "you should have said something sooner". A manager should check the pulse of the restaurant every 15-20 minutes. The customers shouldn't have to hunt someone down to get service. I give this restaurant no stars though yelp made me give them 1 at least.
