Decent fro yo place. Clean...family friendly place Not as many flavors and toppings....but do I really need all that ??? No. What I like is the fact that the Yo comes out cold not runny like several of the other places around here. Do I want Fro Yo....or runny Yo? also my ending bill came out a lot less than it usually does at other Fro Yo places...

In the conquest to eat frozen yogurt in all 50 states I found myself at Tropical Moon froyo. The wall colors were bold and fun, and they had ample indoor seating. The froyo itself was okay, nothing amazing, but still enjoyable.

I like to get only fruit toppings and not any actual froyo. It seems to me that they put a lot more sugar in their froyo than others do. That's fine for those who like it ultra-sweet - but I'm not someone who craves sugar.

Not at all impressed. General, run-of-the-mill and the angel food flavor tasted sour. :/

This newer location of the newish Huntington frozen yogurt shop is a welcome addition to the Merritts Creek plaza and a nice sign of success for a locally-owned business. In contrast to the 4th Ave. location, this one is far more spacious with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They both seem to have a similar if not identical roster of flavors of yogurt and sorbet which rotate regularly, plus the self-serve buffet-style toppings bar which includes a large variety of candies, nuts, fruits, chips, cereals and sauces. You pay by the weight and there is only one large cup size, so it is easy to get carried away, but the option for a potentially healthy treat makes it seem worth it. The only drawback is the somewhat surly teenaged staff (true of both locations), but that seems to be par for the course in every ice cream/frozen yogurt store in America and is pretty easily overlooked since the interactions with them are minimal.
