Not much to say about IHOP. This is a standard IHOP - like many others. After finding that Mr. Pancake (the local pancake shop in the 'Dells) was closed for the off-season, this became my second choice. Lots of area to park in. I imagine it's going to get busy during the summer months. Lots of prompt attention when I was there. The waitress was very friendly, and nobody even gave me a side-eye for getting soda at 7AM. (Seriously, I just had a craving for it) Food tasted good as well. I had the Chocolate, Chocolate Pancakes, and they were delicious and warm. Served quickly as well. I even requested sugar-free syrup, and they had that too. The waitress was working with a couple other tables, and she even offered to get them coffee-to-go as they were finishing up with their meals. She said she wanted to get their days started on the right foot. Friendly little location that's very clean and seems up-to-date. Interior was nice-looking and very clean. All things considered, it's probably one of the nicest IHOP restaurants I've ever been to. I'd come back again.

I can't believe it went this well. After a visit last year I was so unsatisfied that I called the IHOP main branch to tell them about it. This time was the opposite experience. Probably twenty wait staff, quick seating, great waiter, quick food, tasted good and served hot. We were on our way to the water park in about 35 minutes. Way to grab the bull by the horns IHOP. We will be back. We did get there by 8:30am and beat the rush a little. It was filling up when we left, but a great experience for us.

We stopped for lunch following a poor experience elsewhere in Wisconsin Dells. At first we were beginning to wonder IF we were ever going to be waited on. However, Lisa P. came to the rescue and salvaged the DAY! Here attention to detail and interest in ensuring that we had a GREAT experience was greatly appreciated. The food was top notch, the restaurant was clean, and the service by Lisa P. was extraordinary. My ONLY complaint was with the young lady who checked us out at the cash register. I asked IF they had any type of discounts - senior, military, etc. At first she appeared to not understand me so I asked specifically about military discounts. She said "YES" but didn't know how much the discount was and proceeded to ring up my ticket without going any further with the query. A training issue has been identified. Please correct. We ate here during our weekend getaway to the Dells. We were looking for somewhere that was open for breakfast, and it seemed to be slim pickens with the time of year (January) and many places only operating seasonally. I love IHOPs pancakes, and since the all you can eat pancake promo was going on, it was win/win. The waitress we had was GREAT. I wish I had paid attention to her name. She explained the promo when she first came over (we already knew about it, but it was nice to have that "advertised"), she was very attentive, checked on us often. The IHOP closest to our home (which reminds me that I should be writing a review for them as well) is horrible. But alas.... I am getting off track here. Good pancakes, good service.

The service sucked. The waitress barely spoke English. We received our drinks at the same time as our meal. Well, the husband and the daughter received their meals and I had to wait an additional 5 min for mine. Then the waitress brings out an omelet with cheese that was cold! I asked her to take it back and melt it and she stated that the kitchen was too busy. I told her I didn't care and that she needed to take it back and get the cheese melted. There are other breakfast places at the Dells, go to them. Avoid this place.

Good food. Good service. Our waitress actually spoke English , that's a plus. However, we witnessed the manager treat one of the employees very badly. He yelled at the young man as he was cleaning one table to go and clean another table, so the young man stopped cleaning the one table and took care of the other, as per request of the manager. Then the manager starts yelling at him again, "Don't just clean half of a table then start cleaning another one! I don't want to do your job for you!" The young man was just doing as he was told. Yes it was Memorial Day weekend and very packed. But that's not an excuse to treat your employees badly. Shame on him.

This turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. We wanted breakfast for dinner and voila -- we had good pancakes, a tasty egg sandwich and delicious breakfast-y, fruity drinks. The service was good, the place was very clean and quiet. We would definitely return.

i think this place is very nice for breakfast and lunch. service is always extremely fast and friendly. i lived in the dells for almost 2 years and used to go to ihop all the time... never had anything bad there.

Worst meal ever at an IHOP. Started with the waiter spilling the ice water all over our table. Next came the coffee cup with lip stick still on the brim of the cup. Next cup not much cleaner that had a ring of old coffee caked on the inside. Then came the hash browns seasoned with someone's hair. The table next to us got the same seasoning on their potatoes. Wrong pancakes got blueberry instead of whole wheat. One of the air conditions vents in the ceiling was covered with plastic to catch the condensation and they decided to try and drain it over a table with people eating. The only upside was our meal was comped. Which we lost our appetite by that time anyways. Worst IHOP experience ever!!!!
