Was downtown and stopped here got the full rack of ribs which was great. The cornbread was absolutely amazing. Very cool atmosphere also the owners were walking around checking everything always nice. I would definitely come back here and recommend to friends and family!

Family of 6 greeted and seated right away as they opened. Delicious food! BBQ chicken sandwich was awesome!.

Terrible. You have balls to run this place across the street from Famous Daves. Do yourself a favor and go across the street. Felt like an over-the-top interpretation of what the south is like, by someone that hasn't been there. Dark, gloomy atmosphere. Old timey lame country music. No air conditioning, the place is warm. Big portions but the food quality is not good. Food was dry and dreched in cheap BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauce tasted like KC Masterpiece and the beans tasted like Bushes. The price of food was also expensive. Really bizarre.

WORST BBQ IVE EVER ATE. Guarantee bbq in Alabama isn't close to this bad. BBQ is hit or miss. This is a miss. Horrible.

Been here a couple times, usually visit the owners other establishment and have never had an issue with customer service. The last couple times staff has not been well trained our has no clue what customer service is. With a party of 11 I expect things to be a little slower, but bringing food out in shifts for all the guest is not appropriate service. 1/3rd of the table got the food the other portions had to wait another 10 minutes. Drink refills was lacking and when I finally was able to request she said that I had to hurry up and give her my cup because the bartender wanted to go. This was three hours before close! Bartender (Male) was great, the female bartender on the other hand was extremely rude towards a member of my party. Food was good that's why I am rating it a 2 star. More training needed before it kills the business.

I give this place two stars because the food was edible. My step son got Mac n cheese and it looked like it was kraft. The steak fries were super hard. I got the ribeye. I asked for medium and got well done. It was a very thin cut. Cornbread was super duper oily. I felt like I needed to let it sit on a napkin before I could eat it. My husband liked his BBQ chicken and said it wasn't dry. It's the dells so you can't really expect quality food.

It was okay. Just a lot of unexpected fried food. My husband ordered a side of green beans, which were, yep, deep fried. I would have expected country style, maybe cooked in some bacon or ham. It was tasty overall and plentiful. I don't think many sides are homemade, but likely frozen and then put in a deep fryer. I had the corn fritters and okra -- deep fried, though I expected that. The pulled pork was good, though. Like everything in these tourist areas, it's a bit overpriced.

Pretty good BBQ in the dells. We heard this place recently opened and figured we would give it a shot and it was worth trying. The atmosphere inside is really interesting with a little country style music in the background and some added touches that really make it unique (like a fake still). The BBQ pork and chicken were good as well as the green beans, they are actually friend green beans and really good. The BBQ pork and chicken had some sauce on them, but the table side sauces really added some extra flavor and the hot was pretty darn hot. The owner was walking around and checking to make sure everything was ok which is great to see. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the Dells.

Food is not good. Not real BBQ. Ribs are slimy and mostly fat. Cooked in a factory somewhere else. Pulled pork looks and tastes like cat food. The only good thing was the baked beans. Because I'm sure they were made by someone else.

Great food and atmosphere. Waitstaff service is good and the barbecue better than Famous Dave's. I had the pulled pork platter and it was delicious. Wife had a chili dog and said it was good. Very attentive waitstaff as well.

It took 45 minutes for our food to come. The waitress tried too hard which made it uncomfortable. Without asking the restaurants brought out pork rinds to make up for the wait. They were good. Someone who must have been a manager asked if I wanted another beer, free of charge. It was a nice gesture but she never returned. Our food came out, it was awful. I've had plenty of ribs, these were a mess of soggy pork that fell off the bone when you picked it up. I can honestly say they were the worst ribs I've ever had. Someone else gave a review saying the ribs were 'soggy', that's an understatement. The restaurant took 10% off without me asking or complaining, which was also a very nice gesture. Staff was nice, atmosphere was nice. Everything else was absolutely awful. It's sad because this place won't be around next year, I can promise you that...

Food was average. wish the bbq sauce had better flavor. Service was poor, but at least she was trying. Had to of been a foreign exchange student working part time for the summer. So I gave her a decent tip anyway.

They didn't have mashed potatoes or baked potatoes was very disappointed. Food wasn't good! My server was super nice though

My wife and I stopped here for lunch. Walking in we were nicely greeted and opted to sit outside because of the great weather and they had a nice outside eating area. I ordered the brisket sandwich with fries.the meat was sub par not warm and not a smokey flavor. The sauce was ok but not enough to make the sandwich worth getting. Fries were tasty but unusually greasy. My wife order a hamburger that was partially raw and she didn't eat it they offered to make another one but we declined and they still charged us for it. Will not be going back here.

Terrible service, the brisket sand which had no smoke flavor a the fries were okay. The Kraft Mac and cheese was the best thing lol

Very disappointing! The sister restaurant "Taste of New Orleans" was very good so we decided to try the barbecue side of the business. The BBQ sauce is not made locally and has preservatives, corn syrup, etc. I had really hoped for a cleaner food option. I ordered a medium burger and received it raw. When I indicated I was unhappy, was still charged full price for lunch. Don't go here for quality. Even Famous Dave's across the street was better.
