Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I've been to skips many times in the past and thought their food was average but due to few options in the area I've eaten here when needed. Today was one of those days where a quick meal was needed for my family. I pre-read their menu on their facebook page and was immediately drawn to their high prices. The price that really made me do a double take was the price of their kids meal. $7.50?? Really?? I can take my kids to any high quality sit down restaurant within 50 miles and find no kids menu prices higher than $6.50 and that is for higher quality food. They really like to nickle and dime you here at Skips, you get charged extra for sport peppers, and it's .50 for refills.. (I haven't seen an eatery charge for refills since the 90's) I ordered the jumbo char dog and cheese fries.. My hot dog must had gone swimming because there was nothing "jumbo" about that hot dog. Was shorter than the bun and maybe 10% greater in diameter than your standard oscar meyer hot dog. Anyone from Wisconsin would be ashamed to call what Skip's provides you to dip you fries in as "cheese". Just a nasty yellow dip, after once taste ketchup was a much better option. Downtown Williams Bay really needs a quality restaurant/fast food option. Until they do my money will continue to go to outside towns that offer better food.

They should change the name to rips with these prices..wow. Food is good though. Burgers are a highlight. Fries just ok. Friendly staff.

Skips is a Williams Bay institution. We've been going for years dating back to 2003. Restaurants come and go in Williams Bay but Skips is there for the long haul. Pizza, burgers, salads, sandwiches, we've had the all. We usually phone in and order to go and take on the boat or home. With visitors we usually eat in and enjoy some ice cream after the meal.

Great family place. Good atmosphere. Family owned and operated since 2000. Open during the winter now. Pizza is amazing as is the rest of the food. Be sure to order their killer widgets! Prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area.

Been here twice and the food has been great both times. It's a great family place. The only thing I would say bad is the menu prices are a little high.

Super friendly service, food was hit and fresh, but I'm thinkin this place is too pricey for an old school hot dog stand feeling place ( you know, the kind with the nostalgic coke signs and those little black letters on that board as the menu). My g/f & I had 2 drinks, a hot dog& fries, & chick tenders w/cheese curds for $20, eek... Cool inside though, loved the boat theme& carved in tables.

I'm a family man and Skip's is great fun for the family, games, great lake environment, fun to visit by boat and the food is consistent and very good. Prices are in par with the other restaurants around the lake and the kids meals are only $4 with drink. Great place for a fun casual date on a summer day.

Friendly staff and another great place to get a bite to eat. Seasonal hours now. Closed during the winter months. Pricing can be a little high on some items.

Great widgets. Best doughnuts I've ever had. The sandwiches were nice and good after a huge hike around Lake Geneva, the room was cosy and warm. Full recommendation from my side!

The food is overpriced and the service sub-par. Unfortunately, there aren't too many options in Williams Bay for burgers, ice cream etc. so this is probably the place to go. If you do decide to eat here, the widgets are tasty.

great place to grab a hot dog and fries when you want to go to the beach... they have cool decorations around the place... also the pizza is very good

Great Chicago style sandwich shop with a boat theme. Friendly owners and tasty food.

There is a much better place for a burger and it's sammeez! Skips is overpriced and staff is really rude. Our family banned skips 2 years ago and don't need to look back!

The best greasy, All-Amer corner stand food you can get, only jazzed up a bit. I went to high school with the girl whose family owns this place, and they do an awesome job with everything: burgers, shakes, chicken fingers, fries, sundaes, onion rings, gyros, and the famous not-to-be-missed (on your frequent travels to Williams Bay, WI, obv.) widgets - like doughnut holes only doughyer and softer and airier and fresh out of the fryer and covered in cinnamon sugar. YUM. Grab a bag to go and walk the block down to the lakefront. Ah, home - where people eat what tastes damn good even if it makes 'em fat. I miss you.
