Good is good. Service could have been better at front counter

Love the club! Used to work across the street for many years and we would come to BSquare at least 3 times a week. Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner and a great place to sit and catch up with an old friend an chat. They always have fresh food and good sized portions. A few of the servers have been there for so long they have watched my son grow up and that's pretty cool. Louise is so nice! Though I do not go for the pie, they do have good pies and cheesecakes. Menu has a large selection and there are always new selections and features.

Breakfast was hot and fresh. Service was great. Waffles, eggs, sausage all recommended.

A 3.5 would be closer but because they are so accommodating and consistent, I'll go to a 4. Been there and ordered takeout many times. For the type of place-nothing fancy, generic food- they do it well. Their veggie burger is yummy but order it well done or it will be mushy. The soft brioche buns they have recently switched to are tasty. Fries are okay, but not out of this world. If you have a sweet tooth, try their crepes with creme and strawberries. The crepes are thin and they used fresh berries. One complaint is the pie slices are getting smaller and more whipped creme than substance. Cutting back?

FPO: In graphic design we have a term called "For Position Only" or FPO for short. It means we're using a photo that we haven't purchased yet that is temporary in our layout. Bakers Square food is FPO. It looks good on the menu, it fills your stomach and leaves you feeling like you've eaten something, but will hold you over until you get the real thing. ORDERED: My wife can out foodie a large percentage of the population but she likes strange things such as breakfast from places like Perkins and Bakers Square. I played it safe with a hamburger and fries. The fries were heavily seasoned with salt and black pepper - lots of black pepper. The burger was super soaked with grease and toppings horrid. The tomato had locular jelly (look it up) that tasted like a shoe box silica gel packet, tough and tasteless. Pickles and lettuce were also limp and gross. FPO food. The service was friendly and fast. PIE: I ordered a slice of "Pumpkin Supreme". Supremely good. The flip chart of pies that's on your table tempts you to finish the garbage you happened to order just so you can order dessert. BATHROOM: I've never been so tempted to ask a stranger pooping if they needed me to call an ambulance. Some things can't be unheard. The bathroom was also filthy.

TIP: Pie Wednesday! Get your free slice of pie! A friend and I went there Wednesday and it just so happened to be PIE DAY. Apparently every Wednesday is pie day, rather, you get a free slice of pie with every meal -- except the meal that comes with a slice of pie, you don't get two slices of pie (believe me, I asked). So yea, looks like I'll only go there Wednesdays, but otherwise it's a decent place, all day breakfast menu, other decent lunch and dinner options from what I saw, the prices were average, about $10 per person. I'd consider this a step up from a Denny's... OK, a half step. It's like Coco's if anyone knows what that is.

If you want a fast food meal with many choices on their menu, Bakers Square is a good place. I like the one in West Allis better than the one on 76 Street. Food has always been tasty and sometimes they have coupons or deals to get pie with your meal. Servers are usually great about refilling your beverage and they even help decide which coupon is a better deal. Very customer friendly. Price can add up quickly with sandwich, beverage and pie but it is still better than grabing a burger someplace.

We came in around 10:00 and was quickly seated we had Basic breakfast , with good friendly service. Not too busy. Lots of pies. Wednesday they offer free slice of pie after 9:30 with a purchase of any meal. hint scoot into the booth 1 foot more in and seats are not cracked and worn out.

I have always had a very positive experience here. The staff is always friendly and the food is always above my expectations.

Pretty standard café food. The pie is spectacular - their French Silk is my favorite pie anywhere.

It's a chain and when you go inside it definitely feels like one. The food is like a Perkins, or similar. It's not bad, but not amazing either. I would say that it's just good. The one thing that does set them apart a little is the insane amount of pies they have. Have fun paging through their flip book of mouth watering pies. It's almost overwhelming. If you go on a Wednesday you get a free slice of your choice with your meal. Sadly, for Baker's Square, an excessive pie collection does not grant you a pass to the elite 4 and 5 star eateries. Better luck next time.

The service was very good. The restaurant was clean and well kept. I am only giving the restaurant 3 stars though because I feel the food and the prices do not add up. The quality and taste of the food was average with a price tacked on that would make you think you were going to receive a quantity of food that would be enough to take home for lunch the next day, but this was not the case. I would go back though for another slice of key lime pie alone.

I truly enjoy this chain, as described in the other review I'd done for the 76th St. location. But, this particular location deserves some serious recognition. I'd been going here a long time and can honestly say this is the best location I've ever been to (I've also been to the Bluemound Rd. Square). I had placed a phone-in order once and upon picking it up, realized to my dissatisfaction that the order had never been placed (even though I'd called 15 minutes prior). I was upset and later talked to the supervisor on duty. I was given an apology and got in communication later with the manager. She had given me free dinner tickets and a gift card for the errors. This is EXACTLY the level of service customers should receive these days. I felt appreciated and respected. I was given her business card in case I ever needed to contact her again (and it included another apology on the back). Generally-speaking, the service here is really good, consistent and friendly. I enjoy having friendly waitresses and I know how hard it can be to keep that friendliness up in the service industry. So, it's most appreciated. A recent waitress, I later discovered, was feeling under the weather but I never would have known that given the level of service she offered. The food, of course, is so delicious. The only thing I would not recommend is the flavored lemonades. Waitstaff reminds you of the Free Pie Wednesdays and as other reviewers have stated, it can get pricey here so coupons are great if you can find them.
