BEST BEST BEST burger I've had in Wausau!! I grew up in states with In N Out burger and was absolutely HEARTBROKEN to find that there was none of them here! Until I found the chatterbox. They have win best burger YEARS in a row. Of course after hearing that, we had to try a burger. My fiancé and I have decided that this will be a regular place for us. Bartenders are SO awesome! The prices are reasonable and HOLY CRAP!! Those cheese curds!! Another thing that should be nominated for wausaus best of!!

By far worst food I had in a long time! We ordered fish tacos, cheese curds, onion rings, and my sister in law had chicken strips with French fries. The chicken came first while the curds and onion rings came almost a HOUR later! The rings were burnt and the curds was terrible. The fish I had more breading than the actual fish. Now here's the thing that really angered me, my brother gave the food back to the male bartender and he laughed at him and was more worried about his grammar than the food and apologize to him. Not to mention I'm on vacation and I usually work 2nd shift so me having a night out with my family during the week is out of the question. Needless to say I will never go to this place for food ever again!

After having cheese curds from chatter, I've never come to like them anywhere else. The batter is light and SO flavorful. Dip them in Chatter's ranch and they're even MORE wonderful. They have a nice patio out back, oh and can't forget about their Bloody Mary-they're great here!

Best bar burger around here that I have found. Good bartenders and clientele. Wish it was closer to my house!

First and Foremost, Chatter Box is a bar that just happens to serve the best hamburger in the city. When you walk in you will see a bar full of regulars. That's a good sign! Chatter Box's burger has been voted year after year as the best burger in the Wausau area. What makes the best burger? I don't know, but when you taste it, you'll most likely agree. The buns are soft and homemade, the meat juicy and it's seasoned perfectly. You will also get a choice of sides. Go for the Chippers, they are homemade potato chips with Parmesan cheese. Best of all, were talking budget prices, somewhere around 5 or 6 bucks. Try it, you like it.

Nice on the outside, but a bit red-necky on the inside. Give it a miss, unless you like drinking Coors light, drive an old pickup, and wear hunting clothing all year 'round.
