Went here for the first time tonight and it was amazing. From being seating, to our waiter, to the food it was all better than expected. Their seafood is so far the best I've had in the Wausau area. Will be going back for sure.

We absolutely love this place! The lobster bisque is amazing, so is the lobster (broiled), for that matter. Risotto- outstanding :)

Had another opportunity to stop here the other night. Again, an excellent experience. Both the food and the service were great. The wine list is still almost a perfect match to my ideal Sonoma County must stop and taste list. This is certainly on my travel plans whenever I'm driving through this area.

Pros: Menu looks appealing, some food was good. Cons: Place has gone down hill. Overated, over priced, small portions, decor is old. Oysters weren't even fresh. My wife and I spend over $100 and was still hungry, didnt want to spend more, For the amount of food and the Price, we could have gone to texas road house on a full stomach for half the price.

Two words: Nein Danke. This place was a real bust. We should have figured that out when we showed up and the lot was empty, but we just assumed that since it was a Tuesday night, the crowd was thin. More likely, everyone in the area knew what a disappointment Michael's is. The menu, which had a wide variety of overpriced, undersized dishes, featured a letter "from the new owners." Perhaps the previous owners were better restaurateurs, because otherwise I'm not sure how this place stayed in business. The plank salmon didn't come on a plank. Not a big deal, except that it was oversauced, overcooked, and overpriced. The "glaze" on top turned into a full shell, making cutting through the flavorless piece of fish a difficulty. The salad was pretty, but also pretty bland. Everything else was a disappointment too. The service, for example, was abominable. My glass remained empty for most of the night. All in all a very distasteful experience. Skip it and find a different place. Nein Danke.

Our favorite special occasion restaurant. Quiet, fine service. Chef Adam does interesting (read delicious) things. Ever heard of maple bacon brickle ice cream? Believe me, it sounds like, but most certainly isn't state fair food.
