Wasau's best sandwiches! Cozy, funky lunch spot with espresso drinks, soups, and award winning sandwiches built to your specifications on bread baked in the store that morning. I recommend the Gobbler special (without the turkey). Service and atmosphere are very pleasant. We would avoid the chai latte, which was remarkably oversweetened. But our sandwiches more than made up for it.

The only reason why I'm even giving 2 stars is because my coffee drink was decent. I paid $8 for a chicken sandwich that was microwaved. Yes, microwaved. My coffee was $4 which wasn't terrible, but my girlfriend was charged $5 for a SMALL iced latte. Not to mention her cheese melt was microwaved as well. Good looking place, some mildly friendly employees, but other than that I wouldn't go back.

I love this place. I stop in once or twice a week. Pros: -Best sandwiches in Wausau - quality is unmatched. Prima Stacker is my favorite -Friendly staff -Good location Cons: -Takes a little while to get food sometimes but that's because they actually make it -Cost is a bit high for Wausau - ~$18 for two sandwiches and a bag of chips But the taste of their sandwiches overrules the cons and then some.

Stopped in for a coffee and some baked goods yesterday. The little apple thing I had was good but they have to work on thier coffee. It's in a thermos off on the side so they aren't always the hottest but most of all they only have regular refined sugar and some cheap sweet n low substitute available.. They shouldl have way more options for sweeteners. And I did write to hem via thier web site and never got a reply. That's not good either.

My wife and I had an awesome sandwich on nice, fresh bread. The salad was also nice, good dressing. They make their own breads, and foccaccia was excellent as well. Their dessert bars were awesome, Raspberry 7 layer bar, I can't remember what the other one was. A solid place to grab a quick bite to eat, nice cold AC inside.

A nice deli featuring good sandwiches, soups and desserts. Friendly service, but the shop is aesthetically very simple. I went there for a quiet place to work midafternoon. Certainly don't go for the coffee. I was there for a few hours towards the end of the day and none of the canisters were refilled and the coffee I did have was rather poor.

They feature a small variety of entrees each day. At least I think that they still do. I say that because they moved downtown and have a larger place now with more seating. In the summer you can sit outside. I love the breads they offer. Sandwiches are very good. Their line of coffee is pretty good. Their new name downtown is La Prima and their address is 529 3rd St.

I like this place... although the decor is fairly simple and the tables and chairs are just scattered around in a jumble, La Prima still has a funky character. Sandwiches are excellent and service friendly. I'd definitely go again.
