This is the perfect hidden gem in the middle of Wisconsin! Being a coffee snob and vegan it's usually very hard to find a break breakfast place up there. Through a lil searching on yelp this perfect place was found. I must also say, my boyfriends is not a vegan and he equally loves this place. Everyday they will post their breakfast and lunch special on the chalkboard and social media. Everything is super fresh and homemade. Because nothing is premade they can alter the ingredients for me. They have the best tofu scrambler for breakfast that I can add fresh veggies to to make it even better. The coffee is the best I've ever had hands down. They offer everything from just a cup of black coffee to their flavored special of the day to the most amazing lattes. The Butterball and the Snickers have to be my 2 favorite. Is so hard living 4 hours away from this place because I'd be there everyday of I lived closer. It's a great treat to be able to go all summer though.

Great breakfast spot in waupaca! We loved everything about Cronies! The vibe was awesome, the waitstaff was great..super nice and helpful! The expresso bar is a super cool touch on a breakfast place. I loved the separate section on the menu for just the coffee options. There are some Interesting combinations you wouldn't think of trying in your coffee but Cronies does a good job of making this combos taste great! I got a coconut Carmel iced latte and it was not too strong on the coconut side which I appreciated and also not to sweet. The food menu is great too, I went with the farmers omelette which did not disappoint. Boyfriend got the stuffed French toast and he said it was great!!! I will Be telling my friends and family to come here next time we Are in waupaca for the yearly vacation!

This place is a true gem in this smaller town. Main Street has plenty of charm, and Cronie's adds so much more to it. The breakfast choices are your usual, but with a twist. The cherry granola oatmeal? Simple and absolutely delicious. The omelets are all tasty and filling. The coffee choices and scones are to die for. The only small negative is that it can be loud at times when really busy, but don't let that turn you away. Cronie's is a must-visit!

Our first trip here. The breakfast was good at a good price. We grabbed a booth the 4 of us. The coffee came quick big mugs with big waters too. The coffee was really strong (too strong for me). We ordered and waited about 20 minutes to get our breakfast (a little over average) when our breakfast arrived they had forgotten my wife's order. The waiter apologized and we ate while she waited. Unfortunately we had finished our meal before she got hers. I'd would've been nice to receive a discount for the mistake or some sort of concession. I know people make mistakes and I'm not slamming this place by any means. It had a nice clean atmosphere. I'm just trying to leave an honest review. We will go back someday and give it another try.

All homemade foods and a great ambiance, Cronies is a great place to grab lunch or just a cup of coffee! I absolutely loved my meal and would recommend this place to anyone!

Happened upon this cafe by wandering off the highway to find a place to have some breakfast. The place is not very big, and we got the last open table. We were promptly greeted, ordered coffee, loved the big mugs -- no need to get refills constantly. We like very dark coffee and theirs did not disappoint. If you are starving and it is busy, be patient. The cook seems to get a table's order and will only cook those meals, then move on to the next order, so it was quite a while before we got our food. That was okay though as we were not starving or in a hurry. When we did get our meal, it was fabulous! We had the meatlover's omelet and the strawberry stuffed french toast. Wish they had a place like this in my home town.

This place was top notch, lifetimes better than anything I'd expected to find in the ways of a little cafe in central Wisconsin.

Delicious food and great coffee! I like it much better since they have changed the decor a bit and brightened things up. Love the sandwiches, the soups, salads, baked goods, really everything is scrumptious. I recommend it to all my friends.

Just ate at Cronies. Loved the menu. There was several turkey and vegetarian choices. We recommend the red pepper goat cheese with tomato spinach and walnuts on 12 grain bread was outstanding. I also liked the berry smoothie because they didn't add extra sugar. What a great find for lunch! We wish that we had a place like this where we live.

Nice diner on Main Street in Waupaca. Nice counter to sit at, as well as lots of tables. Owned/run by a lady who loves baking, loves taking good care of her customers. The results are obvious in that the place was very full on midday Saturday. Her "turtle cookie" is to die for. The espresso was good, but at the risk of sounding incredibly pretentious, espresso deserves to be served in a demitasse, not a coffee cup.

The food, coffee, and service is great! Many vegetarian options to boot, which makes it an ideal place when visiting Waupaca.

My dad always told me that if the windows are clean in a restaurant, it meant the owner is running a good establishment. Well, the windows are sparkling! So is the menu.....all baked goods are homemade in the place. Lots of selections and good fast service. I have to admit being pleasantly surprised by this place. Seemed like a place you'd stumble across in an up and coming area of a big city. Oh, and when you ask for a BIG cup of coffee....you really get one! Pancakes are huge so beware of ordering more than one. I loved this place! (Good suggestion Sophie!!)
