A very good Chinese restaurant in spite of its location. Generally I find and avoid nothing but buffets while i on the road. bleh! But Chef Chus is a great little find. The food is good and so is the price. It certainly isn't Michelin star quality but it is in Waupaca after all. I will certainly visit here more often as I visit the area.

This place wasn't too bad. I'm still trying to find a decent chinese place out here in oshkosh and this is just not helping. The fried rice was a strange yellow and the egg rolls were terrible. Kind of mall quality. The orange chicken was ok. I guess I'm being generous giving it three stars now that I think about it.

Makeover to this place has been much awaited and did not disappoint. Much more comfortable atmosphere to enjoy lunch or dinner. We always get the Crab Rangoon and I love the garlic chicken! Friendly staff completes the experience!

Quality American Chinese food in Waupaca. I especially like two menu items that the chef has taken some creative liberties with: Coconut Shrimp and Lemon Chicken. The coconut shrimp is served on a bed of crispy rice noodles with a delicious cream sauce and the Lemon chicken is almost like a chicken schnitzel. Its white chicken meat that is pounded thin, breaded and deep-fried. The lemon sauce is clear, subtlety citrusy, and really tasty. I've eaten other entrees from the menu and always have always enjoyed my meal. Service is attentive and never lacking and the landscape and decor is pleasant and updated.

Excellent food here. My first time in. I asked for special prep mix, and is fab good. Cheesecake is just...ok. Is made here and is fresh I guess, but not great. Fast service and friendly staff. Thanks folks. Well done.

Really impressed with the makeover this place has had in the past 2 years. If you haven't been there in awhile give it another try. New dining room and windows make a nice atmosphere. Plus, they have the best Chinese food in town.

Best Orange Chicken and NY Cheesecake I've ever had. Don't ask why they have great cheesecake at a Chinese restaurant, just enjoy it.

I almost gave up on Chinese food in Waupaca after my first attempt failed miserably... Until Chef Chu's. This is no buffet and quite good as far as lunch menu goes. Specials are limited to a douzen items but don't expect to pay more than $7-8 per person. (This includes your main entree with a choice of rice, soups or salad and fried spring roll) Good thing driving into an empty parking lot, scary looking building and halfway renovated dinning area wasn't enough to discourage me from experiencing a good meal. Their website may be misleading or outdated.

Great Chinese food. Defiantly the best in the area. Pluses they have recently remodeled so it's nice to dine in as well as get delivery or takeout

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
