Just good. Buy by the slice. It's fast! Won't break your pocketbook. You'll still have money for the bar around the corner. Open until 3 a.m. on weekends. Yes, three a.m.. I wrote: 3 am. Weekends, only.

Tasty pizza with fun varieties!!!! A friend recommended this pizza place and it was well worth the visit. We tried 4 diff slices and the Steak n Fries was my favorite. The Mac n Cheese was good but a bit bland for my palate. Can't wait to try some of the other slices.

Big slices for cheap. Quality is average, and the atmosphere is lowbrow. If you want college food for cheap, this is your spot.

Our family loves Polito's! You can buy by the slice so everyone gets what they want! They have unique pizza like Mac & cheese, chicken bacon ranch, steak & fries. It's a hot spot downtown!

Ordered a x-large (20") specialty pizza half Chicken Parmigiana and the other half Florentine. The pizza is big and heavy. If you want a lot of pizza with a medium crust I guess this would be ok. I was not impressed at all. The Chicken Parmigiana had small 1/4" cubes, minimum garlic taste and the basil was just the dried kind sprinkled all over. The Florentine had a lot of broccoli stalk pieces cut up in 1/2" cubes, again very little garlic. The tomatoes, spinach and black olives were ok. They cut the pieces in very large slices too hard to handle comfortably. These 2 specialty pies were a let down if you're looking for flavor. If you just want something to fill you up, go for it.

The food is very good, the pizza especially. I've eaten here at least 20 times, and the food is consistent. I like their garlic knots, loaded with garlic and butter. The atmosphere is super casual, usually a lot of high-school or college age people. I didn't give it 5 stars because the customer service is hit or miss - they employ all very young people and they just haven't gotten the hang of providing good service.

The fact that Politos is open later than most other restaurants (except South Point) is definetly a plus, though unlike South Point, the food here is actually exceptional! The pizzas are unique, and in my opinion, taste better than the chain pizza joints in the area (Pizza Hut, Dominos, etc), not to forget that the serving slices are huge! In fact, they have some kind of contest to see if any tag teams can finish eating their largest pizzas! My favorite though has to be the plain wings. Simply amazing! Located centrally in the heart of downtown, it is a great place to go to, although it's a bit of a downer that they don't deliver. If they did, I'd probably stop ordering from Pizza Hut altogether!

As a California out of towner, I have to say that Politos is a great pizza joint. Get it by the slice, or by the pie (sizes from s, m, l, and GIANT-- we went GIANT). They also have all the traditional favorites like a meatball sub or chicken parmigiana sandwich as well as endless bottles of Point beer. We took it all to go and there wasn't a crumb left.

5 years later and still good for 5 stars in my book! I think it's definitely worth trying to stop in when it's busy and you know they'll have lots of varieties of fresh-from-the-oven pies. Polito's now has 8 locations; it's great to see them doing so well.

I'm going to qualify this review by saying that I was fairly inebriated while at Polito's, but what I remember is that the pizza was very, very good. I had 2 (huge) slices, one pepperoni and one chicken club. The pepperoni was above average, but the chicken club was the best I've ever had. Convenient location to "downtown" Stevens Point is a plus, especially following a long night at the bars.

Best pizza in town. Large slices of many various types. Garlic rolls are a must. Good beer prices too. I recommend the Mac & Cheese slice.

Pizza as good as it gets. Lots of options for pizza by the slice. Garlic knots were great! Sausage reminds me of the sausage at Rocky Rococos.

If you a person who likes pizza, then your in luck...especially if you like a bunch of shit on top of your pizza. Polito's is a kick ass pizza place because it has any kind of topping you can think of. Mac and Cheese is excellent but very filling. My friends and I ordered a couple different pizzas and we asked for no onions on one but sure enough there were onions on it. But the good people at Politos cooked up another pizza on the double so we got a free pizza out of it. That i just excellent service right there.... anyone who gives me free pizza is ok in my book. We had so much pizza..usually 2 slices of that stuff can get you full. Polito's is actually pretty cheap for the amount of food you get for your meal. The slices are Godzilla like and when you add on the amazing toppings your in for a treat. One day I will try the Politos challenge and eat my weights worth in pizza, but i got some practicing until then. Polito's,...come get some

As a pizza aficionado, I hereby dub Politos as most excellent. These guys are unique, and know pizza. I've had the Philly cheese steak, chicken quesadilla, margarita, and steak and fries pizzas. So good.... And yes, they have beer

Where else would you be able to get steak and fries on a pizza? This is definitely my favorite place for pizza and a late night bite. Everyone gets to choose the slice they want. Tons of options to choose from and the slices are huge! The pizza crust is amazing. The cheese oozes and is stringy. Sauce is right on. Check out their specials. It's posted on the walls. I've gotten a slice, a beer, and a t-shirt for under $10 :)

I visited this place as I was in town for a basketball tournament. I was impressed by the previous reviews and thought it was a place I'd like to go for pizza. Yelp did not disappoint me. The place is a small storefront on Main street sandwiched between other storefronts. d a pizza counter with several booths and tables in the main dining area. There is also a small arcade toward the back. The pizza counter has about a dozen different kinds of pizza behind a glass case, kind of like an ice cream shop has several different kinds of ice cream behind a glass case. These pizza slices are huge. The pizzas are 21 inches cut into 8 slices. I was going to order a 14" pizza, but decided to get 2 slices of pica from the counter. They put the 2 slices on a 14" pan to cook. It almost filled the pan. So I think it is a better buy to get pizza by the slice. The pizza was pretty good. The crust was not paper thin, but not thick and doughy. The sauce was light and the toppings were abundant. There was just enough chest to cover the pizza, but not enough to make it greasy. All in all this was one of the best pizzas I've had in a while and will come back if ever in the area again.
