We were traveling through Wisconsin and checked Yelp for a place to eat lunch. I was apprehensive when we pulled up to this restaurant because it's in a fitness center. I am glad we selected it - our sandwiches were wonderful. I wish the food service at my fitness center was this good.

I love the bistro. I eat here 3 days a week and the food is fantastic. It's nice to have a unique healthy option in Stevens Point!!

Last update for Bistro 212, I think. I was super pumped to get lunch here today, since my last experience was so good. Unfortunately, this place seems to be hit-and-miss. Today's experience? Blah. I ordered a bowl of soup, and when I got back to work and opened it up, it was less than half full. Glad I paid for all that soup I didn't get! It was potato-bacon chowder, and the potatoes weren't even cooked all the way through, nor was the bacon. It was severely underwhelming for a lunch I'd been looking forward to all morning. I think this might be my last visit to the bistro for a while.

My mother so graciously gave my husband and I a gift certificate for the bistro, and even more graciously offered to watch our children so we could have a date. Between the two of us, we had the muscles, crab cakes, mushroom risotto with grilled veggies, and chocolate creme brule. The sauce on the muscles was fantastic, which were also cooked to perfection, the crab cakes were perfect, with a sauce that complimented perfectly. The risotto needed a touch more salt, but otherwise was perfect. The bistro lost a star for the creme brule. The flavors were perfect, but there was no crunch to the top, no crispy layer, and my husband bit into a whole peppercorn. Overall, it was a lovely meal, a tad overpriced, but I would gladly eat there again and recommend it to my friends.
