I have eaten here more times than I can count. Pros: extraordinarily cheap, variety, VERY VERY CHEAP, nice waitresses as a whole Cons: I can look past them for a 3 dollar breakfast I mean seriously people, if you expect fine cuisine for 4 bucks your crazy. Rate this place off of what it is, and then tell me where I can get 2 eggs, toast, hash browns and sausage for $3.50? It's a greasy spoon diner straight out of the 80's with cheap prices.

I would have given sunrise 4 stars 10 years ago, but the food quality, service and amount you get has really declined. If you are going to go to sunrise, I recommend breakfast, not diner. The last couple times I ate here I left feeling it was just ok, and the place was a bit dirty.

I love the food. But the design of the place is so old I can barely focus on my food when I see 70s wallpaper and booths. I would design a new interior for them for free, it's so bad! What a shame it's so ugly because the food is cheap and yummy

I don't give 5 stars easily but I do here for two reasons. 1. The food value is outstanding. Reliably good family food and great service at very fair prices. 2. The other rating were long ago under prior management. We drive a little ways to get to Sunrise, passing many other neighborhood restaurants on the way. It's worth every mile. Breakfasts and menu and daily dishes won't disappoint. The owner often says hi personally, he appreciates your business and let's you know that.

A good friend took me there and said it is the local greasy spoon. I love greasy spoons because the food is ususally affordable, filling, and takes care of breakfast needs. We went for breakfast and thats the only thing I'd get in a place like this...and coffee. First glance at the menu seemed promising. Lots of selection and the prices were affordable. Ordered my biscuits and gravy off the special list came with eggs. Eggs were fine but really how hard are eggs? The biscuits and gravy were by far the worst I've ever had in my life. Light brown gravy with some mystery meat in it. Very salty and busicits from the 33 cent grocery selection. Terrible! Gives me the willies just thinking about it. If you can't make biscutis and gravy well then any breakfast item is doomed. My friends seemed okay with their skillet and egg combos. Rob there has to be a better place next time my friend. :)
