Pho VN Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

So pleased to find this tidy, family-run gem in Sheboygan! It provides good quality Vietnamese food comparable to that found in bigger cities. Fresh rice-paper wrapped spring rolls were excellent (three to an order), as was the pho and lemon-grass beef and shrimp stir-fry. Everything was very fresh and full-flavored, though the stir-fry was a bit oily. Atmosphere is spartan and diner-like, but clean and spacious with a couple of flat screen TVs. Service was extremely warm and friendly; our waiter (owner?) made helpful suggestions and checked back often to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Another staffer offered to pack up some tea for us for the car ride home. A great addition to the restaurant scene in the area, which is woefully devoid of quality, authentic Asian food options.

Love this place. This is my go-to if I am in the mood for something fresh, fast and different than anything I can make at home. I have tried a number of items on the menu and all have been fantastic. I especially like the Papaya Shrimp salad, Lemon Chicken and the Banh Mi. The ingredients are always very fresh as well. It's nice to have a place in Sheboygan where everything isn't fried or a buffet. Will keep coming back.

This is the best kept secret of Sheboygan. Their menu is easy to read, their spring rolls are amazing, the vermacelli salad is great to share or stuff your face, and the Thai ice tea is the best I've had ever. Keep this place alive so I can come back to it.

Huge selection of meals and very reasonably priced. The small bowl of Pho is more than enough for a meal, but it's so good I always end up eating the whole thing. Definitely a nice change of venue from the typical restaurants around Sheboygan.

Pho is something that I really love, but that I don't get to have much. My girlfriend and I went here and overall, it was a pretty good experience. The service was pretty slow, but it was fairly crowded when we went out to eat, so I'm not really too upset about it. The interior is a bit dingy looking and rather boring- I'd recommend getting food to go. The spring rolls are really good, with shrimp being the main star ($7 for three). I could eat just these for dinner and be happy. My girlfriend ordered the Pho Tom, or rice noodle soup with shrimp ($12). I liked hers better, and she ate almost everything. I had the Pho Do Bien ($11.50), which is rice noodle soup with seafood. If I'm not mistaken, it included fish balls, scallops, squid, and shrimp. It was pretty good, but it tasted a bit too fishy- not in the good way. I ate most of the broth, but let my girlfriend eat the chunks of fish, which she was also happy with. We also both got bubble tea ($4.50), in lychee and mango. Both were delicious. I'd absolutely return here in the future, but now I know to get something else, plus bubble tea and an unhealthy number of spring rolls.

Ordered the spring rolls which were not too bad. Ordered the chicken salad, which was the last thing to come out. What's the point of ordering appetizers when it comes out when your half way done with your entree? Plus it wasn't even worth $12. We ordered pho and it was the first time a restaurant didn't do substitutions on a meat. The bean sprouts, cilantro, lime, and jalapeños looked like they have been sitting out all day. Did not look fresh at all. The workers at this place were so loud and all over the place which made our experience here worse. It was an overall disappointing visit since we were looking forward to it while we had an event at Road America.

The food was excellent. Had the chicken pho and spring rolls. The service on the other was less than excellent. We asked a question about the restaurant and was completely ignored. The food was served in a timely manner but nothing after that. The condiment bottles on the table was crusty and the floor was sticky. Good food if you don't need to dine in....

This place has great pho, many different types such as with tripe, beef, chicken, and seafood. The normal size is big and the large for $1 more is huge. I have eaten here 3-4 times and only tried the pho, but the other dishes I have seen at other tables look good also. They will even give you an extra bowl so you can pour some pho into it an experiment with different sauces and spices on the table meant for you to customize the pho to your taste

From Nashville TN and checked reviews and OMG! we loved it the #47, I ate it twice while I was in Sheboygan, loved it! My husband had a rice dish and a noodle dish and he enjoyed his also. Give it a try!

Very satisfying for my first visit. Plenty of parking. Efficient waitpersons. I had the pho with rice noodles and chicken with a cold beer. I was a little unsure about the plethora of hot sauces on the table, but I tried a few. Slurp - slurp, good.

I live in Fond du Lac and often work over in Sheboygan. I discovered Pho VN a while back and I am definitely glad I did. One of the problems of being an ex-city dweller, and moving up to Fond du Lac, WI is the lack of ethnic foods, not counting American-Mexican food and "Chinese" buffets. I stopped here a number of months back and was blown away by the food. Now I find myself stopping here just about every time I am in the area, working. If you are looking for atmosphere and ambience this isn't the place for you. It is a bare bones, store front operation and there is not much, if anything, in the way of decor. But, if you are looking for seriously authentic Vietnamese food then you must try this place. My standard order is to start with their Spring Rolls which are fresh and bright with a good, if slightly too sweet peanut dipping sauce (I usually bump up the heat with some sriracha or chili oil), then follow that with a bowl of Pho. Be warned-stick with the standard sized pho and not the large unless you are really hungry. The portions are huge!!! I've tried a number of their phos but my favorite is the one with the rare steak, brisket, tripe and tendon. I know some of you are thinking tripe and tendon-no way!! But trust me it is awesome, but there are options without those if you are squeemish. One of these days I plan on trying their Bahn Mi-a classic Vietmanese sandwich, but its hard not to order the pho. I will admit that the service is lacking somewhat. The young lady they usually have waiting is friendly, but does lack some experience and as such you usually have to flag her down to get refills or if you need something. But, in a place like this, I am willing to overlook some of the missteps in service because this place is all about 1 thing-the food. You know the place has to be good, and authentic, when I am consistently the only non-Vietnamese person eating in the place

Went with a party of 6, 2 bahn mi's, 2 Pho's, 1 spicy shrimp dish, eggrolls, and spring rolls. Everything was delicious, except the spring rolls left much to be desired. They had little to no flavor, the addition of more cilantro and cucumber for crunch would have helped. Service was very good and fast. Sheboygan definitely needed this ethnic variety to cut the monotony and I'm very glad I now have this option when visiting.

  • Jackie G.

I had high hopes for this restaurant based on other recent reviews, but I was really disappointed. The banh mi and pho were okay, but the spring rolls had no herbs and the lemongrass beef was covered in chili paste without any fresh chilies or much actual lemongrass. Overall it was definitely a bad meal and really overpriced at $40 for those items. I didn't expect much for service and I didn't receive much either. For example no one's waters were refilled and we were all offered only one napkin/person. Finally, the bathroom was out of service. Overall, an unfortunate visit.

C and I needed a hearty lunch on cold and snowy day. Yelp turned up Pho Vn and we were very pleased. Food: 5 stars Ambiance: 3 stars Service: 5 stars Delicious food. They offer pho in a small and large bowl.

I really liked the Banh Mi sandwich here, its gigantic and has a ton of flavor. I ordered it to go and was given a glass of Ice Water while I waited (Which was nice). The bread had a good chew to it, the pork was incredibly tasty, vegetables were fresh. All in all an excellent Sandwich!!!

I am new to the Sheboygan area, and I was craving something not "burger" related. I love vietnamese food, and missed the amazing selection of asian restaurants in St. Louis - read: not Chinese buffet! This place is exactly what I was looking for. Delicious, authentic, and served right. Their Pho is truly something you won't find anywhere else in the area. The selection of meats is good, and they serve bubble-tea (which if you haven't had - it's worth it!). Don't be afraid of trying something new! Don't let the location or bland decor scare you away. This is real, authentic, and delicious. They also have rice plates and noodle plates, so if Pho isn't your thing, they have plenty of other options available.

I love this pho but always disappointed with their service because every time we were there the only server is a daughter of the owners and she was so slow and never pay attention to the customer so we stop going there. but one day we have the idea of take out and omg! Let's me tell you this is the best idea ever! This restaurant is so good with packing their take out order they separated noodle and broth wrap it really nice and it came with whole brunch of veggie and 2 sauce! Pho is sooo tasty! I'm highly recommend to take out! Yum yum!

I don't think I give out five star reviews higgledy-piggledy, and if I were writing this to really mean perfection, it would be closer to four - but that would be nit-picking on a place that really is what it's supposed to be. (IE: it isn't supposed to have amazing lighting, or cushy seating, or anything of the like). Pho VN is bare bones, florescent, and affordable. Beyond that, the people are friendly, and the food is phenomenal. This has become, I think I can easily say this, my husband's new favorite go-to restaurant in town. He is in love with their Pho, which he likes more than me, and can gulp down a big bowl happily in one sitting. What has crept up and surpassed this pho-natic love is their Bahn Mi sandwich. - Which makes perfect sense! It has just the right combo of flavors: Imagine the best French bread you've ever tasted, with just a touch of mayo, deliciously spiced sweet charbroiled beef, spicy sliced jalapenos, shaved carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, and even fantastically fresh cilantro. I finally had to order my own Bahn Mi, and was shocked I ate almost the whole thing (these sandwiches are HUGE!) If we're talking apps, my favorite is their 'sauteed garlic and butter shrimp' which may be sauteed, but is also breaded and fried - that comes basically on a salad and can be a meal in and of itself. It's so amazingly tasty by itself, but the sauce that comes with it doesn't hurt either! I often find myself ordering the vermicelli noodles with charbroiled beef and fresh vegetables - the flavors in this are awesome. It also comes with an egg roll (my husband likes their egg rolls more than me, so it's good the roll comes split in three pieces, as I give him two), as well as two grilled shrimp that are amazing, and a delicious combo of lettuce, bean sprouts, cucumbers, etc. (check my pics on here). On more apps: The calamari is simple but good, and the chicken salad could feed 4-6 people (as an app) or 2 for a main. It's HUGE! Shredded chicken and veggies in a sweet and sour sauce, surrounded by sliced, fresh jalapenos, it's interesting and very good. I was not a fan of the fried tofu, but my hubby liked it well enough. I wish they had tarot bubble tea, but as of now we've tried their coffee bubble tea which is good. Thanks for making an "I don't know, what should we eat tonight?" dinner question that much easier, Pho VN!

Where's the sixth star? Because they deserve it! I like all different types of places to eat: eating at home, eating at a sushi bar, eating at fancy places, eating at delicious holes-in-the-wall, eating at 3-Michelin starred restaurants, eating on a train, pretty much everywhere. But of all the different genres of food-consumption venues, Pho VN fits the profile of what I like he most, for these reasons: First and foremost, the food is consistently great, and all of the ingredients are fresh. They have an open kitchen. There's a very good variety, it's family-run, the service is always friendly, and you can tell they have a customer-is-always-right attitude. The portions are generous without being to the point of excess, and I always leave feeling satisfied both in my tummy and my bank account. Favorite dishes include: the Bahn Mi (#69), one of the best sandwiches from a restaurant that I have ever had, Tai Gau (#36) the pho with rare beef and brisket which has excellent quality meat and very fresh ingredients, Cha Gio 4 Cuon (#1) which are the best egg rolls I've ever had, ever. I find that all their other appetizers are delicious, but not always what you expect when you order them. Bubble tea is also always a plus. Pho VN is a great go-to place for a quick, delicious, reasonably-priced meal that you should definitely try out.

This placed is owned by the former manager/owner of Pho Hai Tuyet that used to be on the north side of Milwaukee. The original Pho Hai Tuyet was on 27th and Howard and that was the best place in WI hands down. Unfortunately that place closed down too. The broth here is good. You can tell it's made from bones and not seasoning packets. You can eat this without putting anything in it, the way you're supposed to if its good. The other options on the menu are good and the portions are big. If I don't get pho I get the fried rice or the pork dish. The place is small and service can be an issue, but I come to eat, I don't come for the service. Overall it's a good spot and I'm glad the old manager found a new place to open up shop. Let's just hope it stays open. Pho places in WI are notorious for closing down after a few years, never understood why. Maybe someone can enlighten me.

The atmosphere is decidedly lacking, but good service and delicious food. The pho is great on a cold day! The raw dishes are cooked by being in the hot soup, so don't worry so much about that.
