Do you enjoy waiting in a line at Walmart? When you fill your shopping cart with $3 items do you love waiting 2 hours to check out? If so, this is the restaurant for you: cheap food, overwhelming quantities, subpar taste, and a wait list whose length makes you question the economic recovery.

Down a dark and winding road you will find Majerle's Black River Grill by the lake. To me, not being from the area, it seemed like it was in the middle of nowhere because it was dark and I didn't know where I was going, but must be a local hot spot based upon the crowd inside. We went on a Friday night, looking for a steak and I am so glad I found this place. The service was great, the food was very good and the prices were extremely fair. There were three in our party and with drinks, appetizer and three meals it was under $70. Atmosphere is like an old supper club feel. Tiny place with a fireplace and smaller dining room. Bar up front. From what I could tell, looked to be family owned and operated. Really loved my experience and when we are back in Sheboygan, I will definitely be going back to Majerle's.

Holy bologna! This place is awesome. We are new to town and a bartender at a different place told us to come here. It is such a cute little bar and restaurant in the woods. There are deer feeders in front of the windows and deer come right up. The food was awesome! My fiancé got a porterhouse steak; he said it was the best steak he ever had. I had a turkey reuben that was very good. The best part of the night is a toss up... It was either the homemade snickers cheesecake or the Galaga arcade machine. We will be back.

Adorable little place we stumbled upon during our journey home. The hype was intense as u walked into the door at 4:20 pm and already a 20 min wait for dinner. We sat promptly as our 20 min was up. Service was spot on! Now for the food, it was Friday so probably should've ordered fish fry but we wanted steaks. 6oz ribeye tuff and 6oz filet seemed much better. Just sub-par food and not sure what the hype is!! I will try fish fry and give it one more try! Best part of dinner was watching the deer eat from the feeder out the windows..

Ate at Majurle's tonight...service was poor..waiter told us he wasn't happy to be there...we received our appetizer after our soup and salad..food was average to marginal. Lastly another employee who took our credit card was gruff and discourteous. We will not return.

I just had an amazing beef tip sandwich for lunch, and had fast internet to get work done. All this while I was in a cute lodge/restaurant watching deer eat from feeders out the window. Oh yeah, I was next to a nice warm fireplace as well.

The waitress told us she guaranteed anything that we ordered would be great. She didn't lie. We had cheese curds, tenderloin steak, broasted chicken and chicken tenders. All of it was delicious. The chicken and dumpling soup was also very good. The desserts were home made and to die for. The chocolate eclair was more like a cake, but very tasty. Very reasonable pricing to. We will definitely be back.

Went on a Saturday at around 5:20. You better get there early this place gets packed and the wait is long. But that's ok they have a great bar for pre food. We had reservations so we got seated asap. Waitress was super nice and attentive. Ordered a 20oz porterhouse for 18.95!! Hell of a deal! Boy did that taste goooood! My gf had the boasted chicken and she filled up too and had nothing but good to say. She also had the Reeses tort which she feel in love with. Great place hands down, will definitely be back!!!

Awesome food and atmosphere. There was an hour wait on Saturday night but it was definitely worth it. Got some beers and played pac man in the bar! Soup and salad were good. Cheese curds were OK. Both of our steaks were fabulous, along with my coconut shrimp and garlic mashed potatoes. Staff were friendly and on top of their game. Great end to our weekend getaway!!

Food was great. We had the blackened prime rib sandwich special and fried chicken. Service was attentive but not necessarily fast. Prices are pretty competitive.

I have been to Majerle's a few times but am just now yelping about it. My husband and I went there on a Tuesday night recently, for dinner after work. By the time we got there, the dining room was not too busy. We got a table by the fireplace and next to the window. There were huge icicles hanging down outside of the window and it created a nice scene of fire and ice. :) We ordered a couple of drinks from the bar and our food. I got the Coconut Shrimp and my husband got the Porterhouse special. We each got a salad and some warm rolls. The food was great! The steak melted in our mouths and the shrimp was crunchy and coco-nutty. (yes, we shared). My husband had the house salad dressing, which was a Sweet and Sour Basil. It was good! The waitress we had was very nice as well, no complaints about the service at all! We have always had nice dining experiences at Majerle's. Yes, it's a bit out of the way but that is what I like about it. It is small and intimate yet casual and comfy. We will be back soon!

Excellent place. Deserves a 4 because of great food, very good prices and I just can see myself going back anytime. It's a little hard to find kind of place but well worth it. I had half rack prime ribs which were so tender they were falling off the bones and were very delicious. We also had a burger which was a mouthful and greatly cooked. Try their special strawberry lemonade. All for $22. Before I forget, service was one of the best. So friendly!!

Finally, a great meal here!!! Waitress was great!! We ate here after golf and I had a cheese steak with bacon, lettuce, tomato, & fried onions. It was excellent, perfectly cooked and came out in record time. Tried the German Chocolate Torte for dessert and that was delicious as well. Great waitress, menu's were clean, however I just wish the ceilings were a bit taller place feels incredibly small to me, but food was great and I'm sure we'll be back after golf again some night...
