Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Don't come here if you are looking for a nice sit down restaurant. It's mainly for take out or a quick lunch. Stopped by here on my drive down to Chicago and this place hit the spot. Great variety of selection, great prices for a quick bite. Would definitely come back again.

Traveling thru the area on I 43 and decided to stop based upon good Yelp reviews. It is worth the drive in off the freeway. Food was A+ amazing, service good and the atmosphere ok. We were served on real plates too! Amazing as a primarily fast food place. As noted by other reviews the Pot stickers are a must try. We also enjoyed watching their daughter quietly play while her mom & dad cooked and occassionally checked on her. We plan to make this a regular stop each time thru. A five star place indeed.

The location is strange - but folks, this is a chinese takeout restaurant. The food is excellent, and the service is quick. End of story.

We've only been in Sheboygan a few nights, and I wanted Chinese food. Looked at the reviews and thought I'd give this place a try. I called the order in and picked up. It's located behind Mobil gas station, but don't let this deter you. The place is really small, the kitchen directly behind the counter. There was (what I assume) a husband and wife cooking, and a little girl playing in the dining area. Looks like it's family run. And the food is made to order - no scooping plates off the buffet line. We ordered the sesame chicken, the orange chicken, and an order of potstickers. All were better than I expected. The pork potstickers were delicious. Will definitely mark this as a great place to get Chinese food in the Sheboygan area.

I consistently get very well-prepared food when I go to China Star. They have an open kitchen when you walk in, which is very comforting.

Don't let the weird location fool you--this chinese food is my favorite in Sheboygan and that's saying something because I come from a big city. Granted, I have only ever tried the sesame chicken...still would recommend. Don't eat inside the restaurant though, it's terrible inside. I still gave it 5 stars because it is perfect for takeout, which is the way I eat Chinese food most of the time anyways.

Located adjacent to the Mobil station (it's on the side street) this is an excellent Chinese restaurant either for takeout or eating in. Inside it is small with 4-5 tables, but very clean and nicely decorated. Food was the best I've had of Asian food in the Sheboygan and Green Bay area. I enjoyed the shrimp and broccoli dish (with sweet and sour soup) on the lunch menu, and it was very satisfying. There are no negatives about this place, except they don't offer brown rice (but of course most Chinese restaurants don't). The parking area in front is never crowded when I've been there. They are open every day of the week. I will return!

This place wasn't good at all. The rice didn't seem fried, it was like they poured soy sauce on it & mixed it up & there wasn't egg in the fried rice. The chicken in the fried rice was very white as if boiled & there were no marks of being fried. The General chicken sauce was very bland & not spicy at all, & the scallops were imitation. I would never go here again while in Sheboygan. i'm not sure what Sheboygans are used to but it was gross. I'm from chicago & I thought it was terrible. I couldn't even say it taste nasty because it didn't have flavor at all!!
