I eat the fried chicken EVERY TIME I get stuck goin here. That's cuz it's better than the other stuff, slightly. I only come here, cuz my mom loves it. Today she didn't. Maybe she'll remember tonight's disappointment, and that'll be it for me here. Whenever the entire staff is comprised of really cute 14 yr old girls, I'm always super-creeped-out by that place, and the owner, or whoever hires. Then I feel creepy, myself, for even noticing. Eww.

Have had pizza here plenty of times and it's worth it. I would give it 3.5 stars on pizza, but pizza alone. I'm giving it 2 stars because of the spaghetti dinner that I had last time I was there. The sauce was runny and tasted like grocery store bought out of a jar. It didn't taste like a delicious jar from the grocery store either. It tasted like the one that as on sale "buy 2 cans, get one free." The three meatballs were very ordinary. They were okay, but didn't make up for the sauce. The noodles were average. I don't understand when places take a simple dish and don't elevate it compared to what people do at home. My spaghetti at home is superior without a doubt. I should've stuck with pizza. The server was nice and offered something else, but it was too late.

Let me preface this by saying my review for last night is based mainly on the service. My wife and I have been here many times over the years and the quality of the food is always real good. Last night we went here for my birthday and the service was just super slow. The place was maybe half full. My wife ordered a small cheese & sausage pizza and I ordered the Lake Perch. After our waitress brought our waters, we didn't see her again until our food came which was over 40 minutes. We noticed other tables complaining of the slow service as well. The quality of the food was good. Pretty small portions though for the Lake Perch. I left still hungry. I don't know why the service would be so slow on a Monday night when they were maybe half full. Will still go here, but if the service stays as is, there are many other options in Racine.

I was meeting a friend in the Racine area and like often, my Yelp app helped find a place to have dinner. Enter: Mike & Angelo's. Mike & Angelo's has very limited hours. I needed to know if there was wifi and tried calling and no one picked up late in the afternoon, even. I had to email to ask the question and the answer was that, yes, they have wifi. Great! My friend and I needed Internet for our meeting. As I walked in on a Monday night, the place looked hopping and most tables appeared to have the pizza. My friend and I were not especially wanting pizza so I hoped other things were good, too. I ordered the antipasta salad. My first concern was why it's called antiPASTA instead of antipasti or antipasto, so I wanted to make sure it didn't have noodles, which the young server confirmed. This particular salad comes in two sizes: regular and family size. Since this would be my meal, I ordered the regular and asked for the dressing on the side (I try to make the dressing on the side a regular habit and I never ever regret it, but I do often regret NOT asking for the dressing on the side). I also ordered one of my favorites, onion soup. My friend ordered a pasta and received a complimentary salad with her meal. The server was too young, poorly trained and inept at providing a value for her extra cost of a tip out of my pocket. She was pleasant, that wasn't an issue, but not at all thoughtful. Not even a tiny bit. My friends salad came out and nothing for me. Major service let down. If two people are each receiving two things, we should each get one item first and one item second. This is server training 101. At the very absolute least, ASK. Ask people what they would like first or second of if they want everything together. Again, very rudimentary. I asked the server to bring my salad and told her because my friend and would like to eat together. Jesus, Mary and Joseph thank goodness I asked for the dressing on the side!!!!! I am not kidding it was like a bowl at the Olive Garden, but 100% full to the top. It was so shocking it was almost embarrassing. Now, while I don't mean to complain about getting a lot of bang for your buck, I like lots of food but this young girl could have given me an idea of it's size! And it should come with dressing on the side automatically or recommended automatically. She knew I ordered this by myself and surely would not eat it all. Coating it in dressing would render it inedible when I try to take what can't be finished home. And even though it was overwhelming in size, after the fact I realized it wasn't overdone with the ingredients besides lots of lettuce and there were 3 different types of olives. But as for the cheese and meat and pepperoncini, it was rather light on the ratio. Next came my onion soup and my friend's spaghetti. I have to say, this onion soup was one of the worst I've ever had anywhere. The main reason was that the broth tasted watered down. Really watered down. And as for the cheese, it usually is a generous couple of slices melted and as far as I'm concerned it should really be more than one type of cheese - but this was just one slice of mozzarella. That's it. Really boring. My friend did like her spaghetti and said that the sauce was fantastic. But I can only review my food and my experience. The place opens at 5pm. I arrived at 6:30pm, by friend closer to 7pm. By 8:30 the place was nearly empty and by 8:45 we were told to leave because they were closing. We were told by someone else because our server disappeared. As I mentioned we needed Internet because we were meeting to eat but also for other things so it really let me down how unwelcomed we were after less than 2 hours. I try to stay away from "chain" restaurants, but at least if I went to the Charcoal Grill down the street we could have stayed longer and left when we wanted to. I am sure the pizza is great, but wouldn't know because I had onion soup and antipasta salad. If it's on the menu, it should also be good. If it cannot be executed then remove or replace it. Period, no excuses. And I don't know how Mike & Angelo's would get me to come back to try more items. I would chose another place after this experience.

Arrived early last week around 5:00 Pm.....plenty of parking and no wait for a table. Ordered a french onion soup and bruschetta.....the soup was nothing but watered down onions, lacked much flavor and topped with the wrong cheese.....horrible at best....the bruschetta was tasty, but the bread was cut way to thick. We didn't order the "antipasta" salad, because we didn't know what it was. My friend had the spaghetti and meatballs....good, but way to much sauce on it, plus it was not thick, sort of runny ....spooned some off to an empty side plate. The thin crusted was way above average....but doesn't come close to the Wells Bros in south Racine. Service was decent....although the server appeared to be very young and not trained very well.

This was our first time here, when we parked it looked like it would be crowded inside and we would have to wait, wrong, we walked in, the awesome smell hit us and we knew right away if it smells that good it's gotta taste good too. My husband had a house salad and was very satisfied with it. I had gorgonzola cheese bruchetta which was awesome, but could have used a little balsamic drizzled on top and maybe some fresh basil sprinkled on top before serving it, but never the less was delicious. Garlic bread was there first crispy, soft and buttery all in one. Pizza came and was thin and crispy and tasted really good, sauce wasn't too sweet and looked like it came out of a brick oven. Staff was really nice, very quick, my husband was barely finished with his water and our waitress had another one there for him! Checked on us twice and made sure everything was good. Can't remember hey name but very good service. WE WILL BE BACK. I think we are going to try the pasta next time, that looked really good too.

Only 4 out of 5 stars because I'm a fan of deep dish and not thin crust pizza. Completely unfair of me, as this place has excellent thin crust. Pretty much any type of pizza that you could be in the mood for. Other selections are limited, but the classic Italian dishes seemed to be on the menu. My wife ordered the dinner salad and it was huge, I ended up helping her with it. This is definitely on the "try it" list for Racine. I just wish they had a real deep dish pizza, but I haven't seen anything like that north of Chicago.

We finally tried Mike & Angelo's last night as part of the "Pizza Belt" tour (the Pizza Belt runs from Chicago north along the lake to Milwaukee, where Chicago mafia bought pizzerias to launder their money years ago and ended up spreading the world's best pizzas! Place was hopping, good sign. After a 15 minute wait the very attentive waitress settled us down with drinks and appetizers (the battered eggplant strips were awesome)! We came for the pizza though, and ordered three large thin crust pies of various flavors, including a basic sausage, shroom & pepperoni. Unfortunately they didn't even top Madison's best (Buck's Pizza, as we live in the Madison area and travel to Racine for good pizza). The crust was undercooked, which is a cardinal sin for thin crust pizza. The pepperoni was more like a sausage and lacked flavor, which seemed to be the underlying theme of these za's. While we might give them one more try at another time, more than likely we'll go across the street to DeRango's or best yet...hit Well's Bros. for their amazing thin crust pizzas. One star for excellent service Half star of decent appetizers Half star for cleanliness and being a nice place.

In town for business and had the craving for pizza. We checked this place out and it was great! We had (there were three of us) the sausage, cheese and fresh mushroom and a BBQ chicken pizza. Both were very good! The cheese was especially good, as you would expect being in Wisconsin. I would do it again if I come back to Racine.

No issues here. Always a solid performance, takeout or eat in. Went last weekend and was told 30-40 min wait, barely ordered a beer and we were seated. Worked out nicely. Place was packed and the waitress was prompt. Big value for the food. Fish fry was excellent and was told the italian beef sandwich was too. Pizza is always good, great thin crust (just not ordered this time). Enjoy.

The best thin crust pizza in town! Bar area good for watching sports. Nice dining area, tables and booths. This is a hidden gem in Racine!

Good pizza, cheese & italian sausage. We ate in, service was ok, little skimpy with water refills. No romaine lettuce, not even for the ceasar salad? Mixed? Lame. Plenty of parking when we got there early, less later when we left.

I've lived in Racine for years and had always been told to try Mike and Angelo's. My husband and I finally broke down and tried it tonight. We arrived around 730 and the place was hoping. We waited for about 10 minutes, which didn't seem bad at all. For a starter, my husband and I split a Caprese salad. We both really enjoyed it. The mozzarella was tasty, the tomatoes ripe and the basil was lovely, For dinner, my husband tried the perch dinner. He really enjoyed it. I tried a bit of the perch and also thought the taste was lovely. Normally I don't enjoyed fried fish, but it didn't have too heavy of a batter, which I liked. I tried a Lenten special, which was shrimp pizza. I honestly was a little scared, but my husband talked me into it. I was surprised by how delicious it was! They had a lot of veggies on it, which really complimented the shrimp. The sauce and the crust were also very tasty. Truthfully, I'd like to give the place 3.5 stars. The food was good, staff was nice enough, but something didn't make me fall head over heals with the place. It's on the border of being amazing, but it was just slightly too blah. Maybe it's the paper napkins and plastic containers that seem to hold every condiment.

We have had great service here and not so great service here just like at most places. Yesterday I had beyond GREAT service. I have 2 small children. When I placed my order I made a request to have someone run the pizza out to my car for me. I know that this is not a normal request for them. But imagine carrying 2 pizzas a car seat and a 2 year old. Anyway, I made my request and they did it for me! This made my day. So Thank You! BTW - best pizza north of Chicago. Great thin crust.

Being from the Chicagoland area, I am spoiled with pizza, and it is hard to venture out to different states and try their pizza, because I do not want to be disappointed. My boyfriend took me to a pizza restaurant that him and his family have been going to for years, and now I understood why. While waiting for a table at the bar, we ordered a few drinks, and for a strong rum and coke, it is only three dollars! That is quite unheard of. We ordered two rum and cokes and a nice glass of carbanet and it was only eight dollars. Then the owner was making grasshopers and just gave us some because he had extra. The pizza was delicious, definitely reminded me of chicago style thin crust. The only reason why I am not giving this place five stars is because our waitress was a little bit on the snooty side and the pizza was literally cut into such small pieces, that one piece was one bite. Overall though, friendly, affordable, and great pizza!

Went here for a birthday party. They served several types of pizza and all the ones I tried were good. Especially liked the sun dried tomato with artichoke. The spinach was also good and Margarita too. I liked these better than the cheese or plain cheese and mushroom. They also serve a salad with two type of dressings. I used the Ranch and was pleased. The restaurant is large but it was packed so I'm guessing the locals enjoy it.
