The worst food I've ever had. The fish was frozen and the hashbrowns were under- cooked and greasy. While I know it's a little place this was the worst.

My wife and I always prefer to eat at local places whenever we can. Our hotel reccomended this place to eat. When I drove up I was already not feeling great about the place. It a monstrosity of 70's chic. Mirrors and wood as far as the eye can see. It felt dirty though it was not obviously dirty. I ordered Huevo Rancheros and my wife had the French Benedict. My dish was terrible to look at and worse to try to eat. Worst salsa and flavorless refried beans with white overcooked rice I've ever attempted to eat. My wifes dish was only O.K. she did make the mistake of ordering grits in Wisconsin and as expected were terrible, lumpy and watery. My review in a nutshell is that you couldn't pay me to eat at this place and wouldn't reccomend it to my worst, worst, worst enemies. Stay away stay far, far away.

Just your typical "Greek" family restaurant with a huge menu and all-day breakfast. Food is plentiful and cheap and the staff is friendly. I personally enjoy any of their breakfast items, the spanakopita, and the Friday night fish fry.

Blue Diamond is a quintessential example of Greek-owned, American-style family restaurants. From the lunch counter to the generous portions to the display case of desserts, everything about this place says, "I could order breakfast for dinner!" The menu is huge and filled with family restaurant standards like hot & cold sandwiches, broasted chicken, pasta dishes, hearty breakfast fare, and the ubiquitous gyros and Greek salad. Everything is very reasonably priced, too. I can't think of many places where we've gotten a Reuben, a French Dip sandwich, fries, soda and a cup of soup each for under $20. We're used to spending that much each, so it's always a nice surprise. The waitresses have always been friendly at the Blue Diamond and the owners greet you warmly at the door. They get a lot of regular customers, but new customers don't get ignored. There's always someone roaming around with a pot of coffee for refills. If you want a comfortable, casual spot to eat, this is it.

The Blue Diamond is now closed. The building will be demolished so a new CVS can be built.

Really basic Greek restaurant. Be cautious when order. Some things are pretty good and some are downright awful. Kind of a typical problem with a huge menu. I'm down with most of their breakfast items and love coming here for a 2 PM breakfast when I am hung over. Decor is awful. Don't expect much.

Typical diner food. You have to be careful when ordering. Majority of staff is Spanish speaking. I asked if I could sub toast and hash browns for cottage cheese and waitress said yes. When I got the bill she charged me 1.99 for the cottage cheese. I questioned her about but she said she told me that I could not do that. Not true.

We just got into town around lunchtime and found this place along the road. My wife ordered breakfast and I ordered the French dip with fries. The breakfast was fine as was the French dip. The au jus for the dip in restaurants is often too salty tasting. The au jus here was not salty, which is the way I like it. Overall, this restaurant is nothing great and not bad. The service was decent and the place looked clean. The lunchtime crowd seemed pleased. As to the decor, I would say it is a bit dated and "old."
