We stopped here for dinner this past weekend while camping at Road America and arrived a bit late. We showed up at 8:20 not knowing they closed at 9. Our host let us know we might not be able to order everything on the menu due to the time at night it was. Fortunately, we already knew what we were going to order, so she asked the kitchen if it was still possible to make the food we wanted, and they were able to! So we sat down, we got our drinks and soups very quickly. The chicken dumpling soup was very good (and hot). Shortly after our food came out. We both got the Roast turkey with mashed potatoes. It was a very generous portion of both, which neither of us could finish. Unfortunately, we had lots of leftovers and only a cooler to store it in. Our waitress was kind enough to saran wrap our leftover container so we could put it in our cooler without the food getting soaked! We finished eating and left right at 9. We were very pleased with the level of service we had, and the accommodating they did to take care of us shortly before they closed. We will be back again!

Great variety, delicious and very reasonable prices. I send many guests to The Roadside that stay at the hotel I work at and they always come back to the hotel with rave reviews! My personal favorite are the Gyros, yum yum yum!

I've been to the Roadside restaurant about 10 or 12 times. I have to say that for the most part this restaurant is pretty consistent with its service and quality of food. I wouldn't say that the food that I have had is exceptionally good or out of this world, but it's a decent meal and priced nicely.

This place is really nice! The food is always good and the service is fantastic! They always have fast service! The food always comes out fast and is always tasting good! The waiters are usually really nice and kind. I said usually, because their was one waitress that was so bad that it took like 15 minutes to get drinks! Another 45 for the food! She thankfully she has been fired! Check this place out!

I had the best "wrap" here I've had in a while...wish I could remember the name of it but it had turkey, candied pecans, dried cranberries, and raspberry vinaigrette with baby spinach and red onion....I'd have this again in a heartbeat!!! Waitress was very attentive, and the portion size was not huge but not small...so perfect for the lunch meal of my meal with my boss. I'd eat here again and probably will too before I leave the area next weekend...

Back after three years since our last visit to nearby Wade House and while the name is now ROADSIDE BAR & GRILL, the large and inviting restaurant is still a great bargain. If I didn't know better, I'd say the menu and prices are mostly unchanged. We arrived Sunday at 12:30 p.m. and the north dining room was nearly packed. Andrea, our server had her hands full but still managed to make us feel important, stopping by twice to make sure we had everything we needed. My wife and I ordered the French Dip Sandwiches ($6.99) with extra long french fries and were well rewarded. Both sandwiches were piled high with sliced roast beef and the snap in the french fries made for an added treat. Even the food plate presentation was above average with full adjus cups and pickles and a tomato. Finally while we finished our sandwiches, I counted nine others who needed containers to finish theirs. I can't remember a time when so many left a restaurant with food. Had to be those big portions. For those who indulge, Roadside has a full bar inside the large main dining room. This is a full service restaurant be it breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Too bad it is so far from home, we will just have to wait till next year's Plymouth German Night or the terrific Wade House Arts & Crafts Day. Sorry stomach!!!

Prompt service and great locale. The large, dim back bar is separated from the bright, rustic front dining area. A bit of a dining oasis in a proverbial desert, but the food itself was forgettable. Brunch was mix, and the breakfast items were on par but the lunch sandwiches less so.

Had a Christmas dinner with a group of 19. We had made reservations ahead of time giving everyone 3 choices to decide on ahead of time so the kitchen could be prepared. The first hint it was going to be a disaster was 1 server!!! I chose the shrimp stir fry and was first to be served. My husband who chose the ribeye was served last. Now etiquette tells you to wait until everyone is served? Ummmm well had we all done that our meals would have been cold. Looking back on our dinner now I wish I would have never eaten. The server brought out 3 or 4 plates at a time and then ran back to the kitchen for the rest. The stir fry appeared black in color from so much soy sauce and so many onions and green peppers it was almost in edible. I counted 6 small shrimp! My husbands ribeye was like rubber. He had two bites. Baked potato I think was left from last weekend. Tasted musty and old. Hoping dessert would save the day we got a choice of 4 kinds of cheesecake. Yep, out of the box which normally would be great.....unless it's 3 months old. I have had breakfast here and it was ok. As for dinner......NEVER AGAIN! Majorly disappointed.

Nice family-style restaurant! Good food served fast! We enjoy this restaurant for breakfast, especially on Sundays after church.

After several other places in Sheboygan were too busy on a Sat evening, we returned to Plymouth and ate at Wilderness. No wait. Not many people at all. Too bad. This is a reliable family restaurant. Four of us got breakfast and two got burgers. Good food as usual. Got out of there for less than $40!
