Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. What happened?! Great location and I love this place, but the weekend drink specials have disappeared, food was average and service was poor. Packer Bloody Mary bar ran out of Bloody Mary mix before the end of the first half. My credit card was mischarged! If I'm going to drive 45 minutes to get here, I'd like better specials and food.

While I feel for the wait staff, we waited 30 minutes and asked 3 times for someone to take an order. We had to go into the bar to order our drinks. Our order took over 30 minutes from the time of order, including the appetizer. The table next to us arrived after us, and yet got their food well before us. When our food finally arrived they had only 2 of our three orders and the macho nachos were cold. The ultimate ham and cheese was good. The waitress told us they had three parties inside and the kitchen was backed up. Come on Sandbar schedule enough staff!!!!

Service was slow but it was because they were short staffed and some even looked inexperienced I can't really blame our server for that. Some of the servers were wearing shorts so shorts that you could see their butt cheeks hanging out. How is this appropriate for family's? I'm with my mother I don't want to see that while eating. They don't have a drink menu. Currently being worked on I was told. It honestly isn't that hard to whip something quick and simple. Gives the impression their not organized. I ordered chicken nachos and they were cheap quality. The cheese was liquid and the chicken tasted like it was pre made had a chewy consistency and tasted unbalanced. The part that upset me the most was the bathroom. There was no toilet paper in the dispenser it was on the FLOOR. The toilet was wet with the water on the FLOOR. I had to pick pieces off the toilet paper that were dry. I was so disgusted mind you the floor was dirty. This place really needs to get it together management needs to be more on top of things. I saw a guy walking with a black suit doing nothing and a server checked mon a few tables maybe he was the assistant manager.

So sad what has become of our once beloved SandBar. We went there last night (a beautiful TUESDAY evening) to have a cocktail and a bite to eat on the patio, the experience was awful. The waitstaff was overwhelmed and inexperienced. The manager walked onto the patio, asked one table how everything was and then walked to the far end of the row of empty picnic tables and chatted with what I assumed were a couple friends. After waiting 15 minutes to be approached by a server, we waited another 15 minutes only to be told that "the bartender was working on our draft beer and margarita." We saw several tables get up and leave, after 30 minutes of poor service and no help from the manager we did the same. We used to love coming to the Sandbar for pizza, wings, nachos and cocktails but there is trouble afoot at the Sandbar, they need to work out their service and management kinks before we venture back.

Great experience here at Sand Bar! Delicious nachos, which were on special tonight...Saturday night. Very busy patio as it was the first day of really great weather here in Wisconsin. Our server, Brittany, was a delight! She was fast, kind, considerate, and funny. Lovely service during a very busy dinner! We had burgers and a chicken sandwich. As my friend says, "this ranch dressing is out of this world!". Great food all around. Brittany is the bomb!

Went there on a Saturday afternoon with a party of 11. Parking was scarce. If I had not been with my grandparents who had a handicap tag not sure we would of parked. I really wanted a cheeseburger but it only comes on a pretzel roll, which make me sick. So I opted for chicken tenders and added fries for an extra dollar. The chicken tenders were hand battered and really good. Decent size chunks of chicken. Unfortunately they they didn't give me enough fries to form an opinion them. Was really disappointed in that. I felt out waitress could of come around a little more often to check on our drinks, but she did keep the orders straight and everybody got what the ordered.

Showed up on the boat and they only have three pier slips. We waited 30minutes for a boat to leave. Sit down for dinner outside to enjoy the nice deck and waitress tells us cooks just walked out they could not Handel the rush. No food at all. We proceed to order some cold beers and she said sure. We waited 10 minutes and then we were told they were out of our bees. We left very unsatisfied. Happy Father's Day. Nope not today.

Fail. We just came for Friday night fish fry, which is a staple in WI. After reading the menu online, we came here. We sat on the patio, soon realizing the menu inside is not the same as the patio and there is only 1 option of fish. We ordered anyways, and after getting the food, we all had different amounts of fish, 1 of us getting half what the rest had. The coleslaw was not fresh, tastes like mayo. Our waitress was great and apologized and got more fish. The fish was fried in old oil. She offered us the manager, but he told her to tell us "he is too busy bartending to come speak with you" but we walked inside and there was NOONE at the bar. Poor management and scared to come outside, not worth $12 per person.

Horrible service!!! Waitress was unprofessional and never around. Place was out of the beer we wanted and appetizer we tried to order. Took forever to place a drink order. Took an hour to get a glass of water. I could go on and on! Spend your money elsewhere!

Have been here many times over the years. Visited in early 2015 to watch a game, just after new owners had taken over. They were present in the bar that evening. Such a nice couple. They came over to introduce themselves after our dinner, asked questions, and were very gracious. We had burgers and they were fantastic. Just visited again a few days ago and "meh" describes our experience. Burger was not anything like the prior one and not anything like the photo the previous reviewer posted. Chicken fingers tasteless. Service was slow to start then okay. Manager came over and we voiced our opinion. Got lots of excuses....servers are all brand new, head chef is off that day, yada yada. We like the Sandbar for pub food and bar atmosphere, not upscale dining, which is what he repeatedly told us he had planned. This is Pewaukee Lake. Good luck to you.

You wouldn't know it but for word of mouth and now internet, this place has, hands down the best bison burger in the Midwest! And when it comes to bison, it's very reasonably priced! If you're a fan and connoisseur of this style of healthy burger, you cannot miss this place!

My favorite warm weather spot in Pewaukee!! They have a great outdoor patio right on the lake. Great place to relax, stare at the lake and enjoy some wings and cocktails. The food is nothing special, just your average bar food but the atmosphere is what this place is all about! The service tends to be pretty slow so be warned in advance, they aren't the best at checking back to see if u need anything. Atmosphere-5 stars, Food-3 stars, Service-1-3 stars depending on the day.

Great view of the lake and a fun atmosphere. The food is a bit pricey but good.

We decided to check this place out while we were on vacation visiting my family for a quick bite to eat. From the moment we pulled up into the parking lot, I just knew this was going to be a cool place. I am originally from Wisconsin, but currently live in San Diego so I was looking forward to having lunch on the lake. This place is is so cozy! You walk downstairs to the main bar at lake level where there are so many sports banners, pictures, flags etc. it is crazy. They even have a wall dedicated to Brett Farve.... The classic neon beer signs top it off. There is an outdoor patio facing the boat docks and lake, but it was so muggy outside we decided to eat inside the pub area. The menu was quite extensive and very reasonable. They have their specials daily and I ordered the veggie wrap (which was VERY TASTY) even for my California girl taste. My husband ordered the grilled chicken sandwich..no butter plain blah blah (many requests) and the waitress was so sweet and patient with our not-so-Wisconsin like requests. I asked her to bring me some festive for a drink and she brought me back a popsicle like drink that was SO YUMMY! I can't emphasize the sweetness of the waitress! Of course we are in Wisconsin! No such service in Cali... Lastly, we returned a few days later because we rented a pontoon boat and jet skis from a vendor that launches from their docks at the Sandbar. Again, we experienced amazing service with our very large group for lunch, accommodating everyones special requests! Love this place! Thanks for a great time!

Visited the restaurant on the Saturday after Christmas. The place was empty but we waited 15 minutes for somebody to approach us with menus or offer to take a drink order. One of the other customers had to go find the bartender/waitress who was cleaning tables in the back room. Food was just okay. Seems like there are always 1 or 2 employees standing around doing nothing. We visited the following week as it is a place nearby to get a burger. Again there were only two other tables occupied but we still waited at least 10 minutes for the waitress to take our drink order and bring over menus. It took 35 minutes for the food to come out and my daughter's burger was completely charred on one side. Needless to say we will not come here to eat again.

I generally go to MKE bars and never find my way out to Pewaukee. I'm glad I went to this place. They had a great patio right on the water and the service was really good. Melissa was my server and could be more fun. And, not that annoying forced fun that you get from some servers... I went just for drinks. They had a basic beer menu. Nothing really craft beyond New glarius spotted cow. But, i'm not going to be all snobby about it. This place is a bar that I look forward to spending more time at in the future.

Great location and I like what the owner has done to the patio space. I hope that they keep it though as I heard through the grapevine that they are risking to lose it due to neighbor's complaints. Where they lose some stars on this review is that the service can be hit or miss even though they have a ton of girls working there. Our server seemed to ask all of the tables around us for refill requests even though our table had empty beer glasses for 20 minutes. Also my Buffalo chicken wrap had virtually no buffalo sauce in it for some reason. Regardless their patio is fun and I hope that they are able to hold on to it.

Place was clean, great service, and great perch fish fry for a reasonable price! Would repeat!

Stop here often when on Pewaukee Lake. Always good casual food especially the steak sandwich.

Great place, right on Pewaukee beach. Typical bar food, but a perfect way to enjoy the summer. Of all the bars we've been to while living in Pewaukee, this has been my favorite :)
