Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.
McDonalds is the most popular fast food burger restaurant serving different types of burgers in the United States. On the other hand, there are several restaurants such as Burger King are famous for serving the best hamburgers in the United States. I kept hearing from a friend of mine that Five Guys has really great burgers. So recently, after a trip to the nearby Costco, my husband and I decided to stop in for dinner. The place itself has a retro diner-style vibe, with the main decor being red and white tiles. The staff is very nice, and took the time to explain the menu to us. My friend was right: the burgers here are delicious! The burgers come in 2 sizes. The "Regular" sized burger comes with 2 patties, and the "Little" burger has only 1 patty. The burgers are cooked almost to perfection. They are moist and not overdone. There's an array of toppings and condiments to choose from. If you're not in the mood for a burger, you also have your choice of a hot dog, grilled cheese sandwich, BLT, or veggie sandwich. The fries; Oh my goodness, the fries. Yum! You can have your fries 2 ways; Five Guys style or Cajun style. The Five guys style fries are plain, but very tasty. The Cajun style fries are loaded with cajun flavored seasoning and have a bit of a kick to them. There will be more trips to Five Guys in the future for me. Absolutely.

If you are looking for burgers, this is the place. Now... I don't know if I want to trek into the burger wars, but I am going to compare it to my favourite place to get a burger... In-n-Out... yeah, I know. I like Five Guys Burgers, but I think I would give the slight edge to In-n-Out on this one. While the double patty is nice, I don't think it is necessary. I also like the flavour of the bun and the crunch on the bun from In-n-Out. However, the overwhelming winner for fries... Five Guys. In-n-Out's fries are skinny and almost taste like potato chips because they are thin. Five Guys' fries... AMAZEBALLS (as the kids are saying these days). They are thick, they are fresh, and they are full of fluffy, french fry-ie delight... sorry I think I got a little caught up in the moment. Typically I just go with the usual lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo... however this time I decided to spice it up with Jalepenos. Yup... jalepenos. Again, take advantage of the toppings, they are free. If you think they are the jarred/canned jalepenos, think again. They are fresh jalepenos, which add a nice crunch, flavour, and of course spice to the burger. The buns are quite doughy... soft and squishy... so it can make for a messy eat. There aren't really combos, so if you want fries, you need to order them separately. You can get them Cajun Style as well. They have hot dogs as well. Unlike In-n-Out they do not have milkshakes, but you could go across the street to Bubba's and get one if you're really looking for the triple play for a heart attack. There are two things that people find find a little off-putting about the place... 1) the cost is not as cheap as a combo meal at some place like McDonald's and 2) unless you order ahead, it isn't quite as quick as McDonald's. However, I personally don't think that is a bad thing when quality is at stake... I could get on my soapbox to complain how we sacrifice quality for convenience, but I won't. The great thing is that you can order online if you want your food to be ready when you get there. Or you could enjoy the peanuts while you wait :)

Today was five guys day. The burger was good but not the best burger. Oscars pub is still the best so far because of the unique parings and they get what rare is. Five guys was fast fresh and hot. You have about 12 unlimited toppings to custom build your burger or get all of them. The kitchen is open so you can see the whole process. Free shelled peanuts and all you want. Friendly staff. The fries are made to order I think because our order ended with fries straight out of the fryer. A small order is enough four people and were way too much so we threw them away. It is better than all the chain joints. I can't get over how everything is hot off cooker made this meal. The cheese was dripping out of the burger and the first fry almost burnt my mouth. No chain compares to this. Hot and fresh from this chain is amazing because I'm not used to this from a burger place. Dave's hot in juicy which I have had should see what hot and juicy really is because it's not even in the ball park. 3.5 stars.

This was my first time at Five Guys. My family and I were visiting relatives in Pewaukee and watching the Insight Bowl when we had a craving for a Five Guys Burger and some fries. I rode along and was super amped, we got to the joint at 10:30 only to discover it was closed at 10. Look, what burger joint closes at 10 on a Friday night? So, the next day for lunch, we drove and got some bacon cheeseburgers and a mountain of fries. I had never been so full in my life. I know Zagat goes back and forth between Five Guys and In-n-Out for the best burger, having tasted both I'll choose Five Guys any day. It was the best fast food burger I had ever eaten. But I feel I must say it again, stay open later, at least until 1 AM, please Five Guys, think of all the profits.

This Five Guys is close to where I work, so I've been here a few times. The food is good, as far as burgers are good. The burgers are much better than McDonalds or Burger King, and the fries are the best. I tend to get the "Little Cheeseburger" and "Regular Fries" because if you go with the "Regular Cheeseburger" and "Large Fries" it will be too much food. You'll overeat and you'll end up spending way too much money on lunch. I'd never eat in this place as it's just too hectic and busy (at least at lunch time) and there's a lot of yelling. I'll eat in the quiet solitude of my car or at my desk back at the office. There's too much tension and social awkwardness inside the place. Also, I find the parking lot difficult to use. So if you're going with the "Little Cheeseburger" and "Regular Fries" that I recommend, it should be around $7, which I suppose is reasonable for lunch. And don't get soda, it's bad for you, get some water, it's free. You're already spending too much on lunch and probably eating too much food that's not great for you anyway. Other than all that... Enjoy!

The employees here on weekdays during the lunch hour have been great every time I stop in. They once saw me drop my bag of food in the parking lot and ran out after me to see if they could remake my order. I said it was fine and that the bag held everything together and I didn't need a remake, but thanked them for the offer.

Well we were going to eat here..... But there was no one at the counter to take our order. We waited about 5 minutes then bailed.

Good burger, great fries. If you are looking for healthy eating, big shocker this ain't it! But, if you need a good burger and some salty fries Five Guys fits the bill nicely. Much better than the typical fast food chains. Be warned use of peanut oil if that is a problem. Free wifi. Only issue I had was music was cranked too loud you couldn't carry on a conversation.

Stopped in today for a quick burger to go. Ordered the single patty and a small fri and soda. Food is very good, but that order was over $10...so it's not cheap. The single patty burger is pretty big and I would suggest ordering a small french fry as they always overfill the big and your small becomes a medium. Derek was extremly friendly behind the counter - great job!

Stopped by the location in Pewaukee. This is a no frills burger place. They offer a good selection of burger toppings, as all orders are made to order. The atmosphere is relaxed with a very casual dining experience. If you have a peanut allergy, this is probably not a place for you. They have a large box of peanuts for your enjoyment. Their fries are also cooked in peanut oil.
