So disappointed. Went in for breakfast. Only 2 tables occupied but it did fill up after I got my coffee. Ordered a waffle. Watched every other table after me order and be served. Had to ask for a refill and reminded her I had ordered a waffle. I could see that it was done. Just sitting there. After 40 min I went up and said I would just pay for the coffee she said okay and walked away. I asked again how much was the coffee. The owner ( I think) finally told me. I was really looking forward to having a new place to go. And I really love his mission. Maybe since I was alone I didn't deserve ANY service?

Came in for the pulled pork near close, but they were out. Was recommended a roast beef wrap instead and it was gourmet. Wife had a turkey sub. We left satisfied and full. Reccomend.

Had a nice dining experience here. Rodney and family make this a nice, comfortable place to experience great sandwiches that are excellently prepared. I had a very delicious hot pastrami sandwich. Others had the egg salad croissant which they sad was excellent. The others with me also had the chicken and dumpling soup which they also said was excellent. Two of my companions are prone to gripe about their food whenever we go out, but not this time. I was amazed. They also serve ice cream and homemade cupcakes which are to die for. If you get a chance, don't pass up the opportunity to try Rodney's Cafe.

After hearing many friends rave about Rodney's café my wife and I decided to try it for lunch today. It was exactly as our friends told us it would be. The food was amazing, the service was fantastic, the coffee was wonderful and it came with a little cookie. (A very tasty little cookie!) My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and I had the meatball sandwich. Both sandwiches were beautifully prepared and presented and tasted wonderful. The soups of the day were chicken noodle and chicken gnocchi. The soup was amazing and they offer a bottomless bowl for the price of one bowl. The desserts looked very tempting and if we had any room left we would've indulged. I highly recommend Rodney's café. If you're looking for a place to eat try Rodney's café you won't be disappointed

I would like to formally apologize to the six friends with whom I ate lunch here. I selected Rodney's Cafe based on the other Yelp reviews and we got burned big time. To everyone else out there: DO NOT EAT HERE!! I'm not sure which was worse, the food or the service. The complaints are as follows: * Some how the sudden influx of 7 patrons overloaded their water and napkin supply. They ran out of both. * Half the menu was unavailable. * Our food came out at wildly different times. Three of us were finished with our sandwiches and the waiter was bringing us our checks by the time the last person got their food. * The food itself looked and tasted like it was cooked on a George Foreman grill with ingredients from a gas station convenience store. * The cook forgot to put cheese on a ham and cheese sandwich. * Our waiter complained when we asked for our check to be split. * There was dried food on the silverware. When we confronted the waiter about it, he apologized and said, "The girl washed them. It's not my fault." I challenge the Yelp community to find a worse restaurant, because I truly believe one does not exist.

A phenomenal staff makes this an amazing experience. Food is quite fantastic! Barbecue is out of this world. Wait a fair amount of time after opening to go (after noon) but the real winners for me have always been the staff! Also great for delivery, take out, or eat in.

Ordered 4 sandwiches for delivery. Got here in a blink of an eye but incredibly disappointed. One woman threw hers away after two bites. The Hot Ham and Cheese was super dry and only one thin slice of ham with a thick dry chewy bun. The pulled pork was not the usual pulled meat but instead a fatty chunked liquid mess. The sandwich came in a watery soup of vinegar burning sauce and was impossible to eat by hand and silverware was not provided. The sandwiches were small for the $$ and Rodney's only offers overpriced bagged chips as a side. We will not be ordering lunch from them again.

Wow! What incredible food! My boyfriend and I went in for lunch and were greeted with a huge smile. Rodney suggested the pulled pork sandwich and it was probably the BEST pulled pork I have ever had. I joined the text club and received a free cupcake. I chose the French toast cupcake and it was to die for. Rodney and his wife are so warm and friendly which only adds to an already wonderful experience. If you're looking for great food and wonderful company go to Rodney's cafe!

In town for family reunion and was recommended to Rodney's. He told me I better be hungry. Was told it' not on the menu but to ask for the special "Rodney's Pulled Pork Foot-long" I thought he was being a funny guy at first.... Ummmmm nothing funny about it! WOW A MONSTER!!! I was ready to eat a house and "Rodney's foot-long DID THE DEED". I got a free T-shirt for eating the entire thing (wife cheated and helped) . My family had a great time and can't thank you enough. Thank you

I just had lunch at Rodney's Café with a co-worker and I must say I was very happy with all aspects of the meal... Waiter was friendly and informative, food was generous and tasted amazing! Price was even better... I will be going back to Rodney's for sure! Thanks Rodney!

Rodney's Cafe is a great place for dinner and for the atmosphere. We had never been to Rodney's but wanted to try it out. We were not disappointed at all, quite the contrary in fact! The pulled pork here is awesome and like I have never had before. We had both the pulled pork and the Carolina style pulled pork. During our visit we actually were able to meet Rodney, the owner, and enjoyed talked to him...he even played a short little trivia game with us which we enjoyed. Rodney, after speaking with him, is also very passionate about food and loves what he does. Now if you haven't read the story of Rodney's cafe, I encourage you to do so in the back of the menu after ordering. There is a lot of caring for the needs of others that goes into the running of the business which this reviewer can appreciate. For dessert we got a few of the various mini pies and they were awesome as well. Chain restaurant it is not, and that's what makes it great. Highly recommended!
