Having been here a couple of times now, I think Primo is A-OK. The portions are GIGANTIC (totally share-able), but the dishes I've had haven't been anything too special. I have a colleague who swears by their lasagna, so perhaps that'll be my next item to try. The bread and salads are delicious - the pasta, I think, just varies by item. Dependable but nothing too outstanding. Service is great, and they manage large groups very well.

I usually have lunch here about 2 to 3 times a month with colleagues. Often the place is busy during lunch hour. Service though is exceptional, as you want to be out right away due to a short lunch period. The waitresses usually know and serve us our drinks immediately.Bread and chips are standard. They have a salad bar with choices of soup, different pasta salads, a garden salad with various dressings and a lot of fruit. The lunch menu changes everyday, and I usually have the mounds of shrimp with asparagus. The servings are generous, and I usually end up eating half my entree as the salad bar could be filling. My co-workers usually order the fish and pasta, and have tried the variety.

Funny story, some girlfriends and I were excited for Italian...at another restaurant. We pulled up and it was gone. Not like closed, the building was no longer there and all that was left was a little leftover rubble in the middle of an empty parking lot. Enter Primo, which did not disappoint. It was a surprisingly large restaurant and we had about a 20 minute wait in the bar before being seated. After looking at the menu, I knew I had some hard choices ahead of me. I couldn't decide on the specialty drinks, they all sounded great especially after a long week. Also, I had to go with a specialty salad to go with my entree, they all sounded amazing but I opted for the caprese which did not disappoint. I went with a pasta with some type of sauce I cannot remember the name of. It came recommended and almost had a candied taste to it. Yep, I'll be back!

A great experience at Primo! Enter I have driven past Primo a number of times and noticed that the parking lot is generally full on a Friday night so we thought we may not be able to get in. We noticed the immediate seating light was lit and were pleased to see it was accurate. We were immediately seated and didn't have to wait long at all for our waitress to stop by App Ordering our drinks and an appetizer of cheese curds was very quickly done & made very quickly as well. The curds were awesome and we also received some complimentary breadsticks which went very well the alfredo (which was awesome) that came with the cheese curds. The curds also comes with marinara sauce if you care for that instead. Dinner The choice of what to get for dinner was very hard since they had so much that sounded good but we opted for the NY Strip steak and some sandwiches. The steak was perfectly cooked and very good. The sandwiches were also great with generous portions Dessert The lemon Italian cake is possibly now my favorite dessert at the local restaurants! Service was also great throughout the experience and complimented the experience nicely. I highly recommend stopping in and giving it a try!

Took an hour to get food, so that was pretty cool. One of our meals was a "missed ticket" and came out 15 minutes after everyone else got theirs. Server was very short with us about the mess up and didn't offer any sort of solution. Chicken Caeser Salad was wilted and came with chicken uncut on a separate plate? Thought that was kind of weird. Scallops were good though.

Classic family restaurant...If you're health conscious, I wouldn't recommend this spot. I got the grilled veggie omelette with egg beaters. It was extremely greasy from the cheese, and it ended up causing a great digestive disturbance. I wasn't the only one with this reaction.

I recommend the Chicken Parmesan, which was delicious. The entry also included soup and the salad bar which had at least six different types of pasta salads. Also freshly made potato chips were served to our table.

A bit surprised and very impressed. We got there at about 12:30, and found the service to be very pleasant and timely. The food was wonderful- far exceeded expectations - and the value was exceptional. This place looks very exclusive and pricy, but isn't. Very nice dining experience.

Very great wait staff, my boyfriend and I's waitress was friendly and timely. Cheese curds were delicious and the Alfredo sauce with it was delicious. I had the salad with my seafood plater, very from a bag type salad. My boyfriends clam chowder soup was really great. Onto the entre, my platter had haddock which was good, perch which was mediocre and bland and jumbo shrimp which was good. However the whole reason I'm writing this is because of the walleye my boyfriend got. I even took a bite. Tasted of rubber and absolutely no flavor. If I could give a solid 2.5 stars I would. I expected a lot more with how busy this place always is every Friday.

Only having been here three times, I can say the food was pretty good. I'd definitely go again.

The service was incredibly slow. The waitress (at an Italian restaurant!!!) did not understand when one of us asked for a salad with the "house dressing", which might be understandable if it was her first shift as a waitress ever, but it was not. The food quality was quite poor. I'm almost always the one in the group who can find any kind of silver lining, but even I was unable to put a positive spin on the food. We stopped at the nearest gas station to throw away our leftover containers. One person at our table had an accident and dropped her water glass onto her plate. It was loud enough that every other customer and all of the wait staff looked over... None of the staff made any attempt to offer any help to clean up the table... Not even an offer of extra napkins... $75 for 3 people??? Absolutely not worth it.

We came here with my boyfriend's family to celebrate his birthday. I loved their crunchy breadsticks with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. They had a tasty salad bar (some of the things looked iffy- like the potato salad) but everything I got was good! I got a veggie sandwich that was supposed to have portobello mushrooms but I didn't see any in there. It wasn't the best sandwich. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal. The service was excellent. They even brought out a little complementary (and delicious) cake for the birthday boy!

Excellent Friday fish fry. Service wasn't great.

I just stopped in thinking this would be a pizza restaurant because yelp lists it as such. It is not a pizza restaurant. They only have 10" personal pizzas.

Food and prices are reasonable but the carpets are horribly stained and filthy. I believe this place has gone down quite a bit since it opened.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
