DAY 1 Dried chicken was the best I ever had Older crowd Tender was a good guy Stiff drinks Good old Wisconsin ascents DAY2 Got a mushroom Swiss burger and fries. The burger was a good size and juicy. The fries were really good. Perfectly crisp and golden. Overall: It is kind of a dive but the people are nice and food was better then the hotels. It was noce that they have a back deck to sit at in the summer time to relax and eat some dinner bc its really dark in the bar and kind of stuffy. So the outside option was nice. On the other hand the do have a seating area in away form the bar in the "restaurant".

We tried this place the first night of Airventure 2014. We. Entered from the back and were not even quite sure what kind of place we were entering or the name. Quite honestly, i though we had entered a VFW hall, eagles or moose lodge. The server stated we needed to pay cash as the credit card machine was down. This place was a riot.. It was karaoke night... I have never had so much fun or laughed so hard. You have to try this place... Prepare to sing!!!

The worst steak I have had in my 72 years. My "filet" was Incredibly tough, over-cooked and flavorless. Don't waste your time or money.

The restaurant was dead on a Tuesday at 8, but the bar was lively. A typical Wisconsin dive bar; dark paneling, stiff cheap drinks, locals watching the Brewers, and marginal food. Actually pretty uninspired food for being a steakhouse. But if you're looking for a quiet and dark place to drink this is the place for you. A better choice for drinking than the hotel bar.

Waited 10 minutes to be seated. The restaurant was empty at 1230 in the afternoon. We ordered the tenderloin sandwich. Waited 20 more minutes for two fork fulls of meat between two huge buns, for more than ten dollars a sandwich we were extremely disappointed. More customers arrived and had the same sediment. Sides were expensive and NOT INCLUDED! I will never give them business again. They got our order shuffled, and acted like we weren't welcome. I do tip well, they got 3 bucks.

I will be the first to admit that we visited here during EAA, and they were very busy. That being said... Our waitress was nice enough, the sandwiches were fine. The appetizer sampler was oily yet flavorless. If you are looking for sustenance you will get it but absolutely nothing else. No view, no atmosphere, the beer was not even very cold. I am sorry to be severe but I was not impressed by the slow yet complete saturation of mediocrity.

Huge disapointment for an establishment so close to the EAA grounds. The food was drenched in grease and gave everyone in our party a gut ache. The atmosphere of the place was nill. Will not be returning to the Charcoal Pit.
