Went there last Friday to try their fish fry. Very good. I ordered the pan fried walleye which was awesome! They even serve potato pancakes. My husband ordered the fish fry (cod) which I tried. Nice big piece not too greasy. Have always enjoyed this place despite years of horrible service. I believe the new owners/managers have changed it around. Have been there multiple times this summer and always happy with the service and the food. Still a couple of tools bartending or serving but all in all I am happy.

When I was growing up, a friend's family owned this bar - so it was a real trip to be back in the building during a recent trip to Okauchee. This definitely does seem to be one of the most popular places in the area. When you order a drink, you get to choose a ticket out of a hat to determine if your beer is full priced or discounted. We didn't have great luck, but it was fun all the same. We stopped in early on a Thursday night, but wow! The place was pretty hopping when we left around 7pm or so. The servers were friendly, and the clientele was too. Can't say much for the food as we only got an order of the broccoli, but the beer and service were great!

We walked in and out. I'll say their waterside patio was packed with happy faces. For me it was too loud and seemed "tired". A place for the young and/or young at heart...

It has a ton of visitors just for drinking and the place is usually packed with people too. The bar is nice the faculty is nice everything is nice except for the people there and the food takes a long time to come out!

We went to Okauchee Lake to watch a C-Class Regatta. ...found this place (near The Golden Mast) with a nice deck overlooking the Lake. Make your own Bloody Mary Bar ($6). The deck chairs are tall so your view is not obstructed. You can sit at tables or on the outside wall where there is a wide railing and the view is great. The outside was very popular with boaters. A number pulled up to the pier while we were here. Inside, there are a lot of TVs for sports. Anyway, nice for outside craic!

Found this place on accident, and am so glad I did. I was in the area, on business, and decided it was a perfect evening for dinner by a lake. Special was $1 sliders. Had the Angus Burger, BLT, and Chicken. All were DEElish! Perfect setting to sit by the lake, on their deck, watch the boats coming in to dock, and enjoy the food.

Foolery's is in the absolute perfect location right on Okauchee Lake. Parking here is scarce and it's by far the most popular place to land your boat. There's several parking for boats to come up which is probably half the people that come here. Inside is pretty loud, several TVs, an area for live music and good beers on tap. When I was there, there wasn't that many people inside but it was still very loud. It's a very energetic / lively atmosphere. Outdoors they have a beautiful deck raised above the dock area. By the dock there are picnic tables in the sand that you can also eat at. I came here for a drink before a boat ride, but then later decided to come here to grab food too. You would think that for a place with such a perfect location, the food would suck. But that wasn't the case, at all. I had a Buffalo Chicken Wrap and it was very good. Despite being short-staffed, the service wasn't terrible either. The prices weren't bad, especially for Oconomowac. I'd definitely go here again, for food, or for a fun time at the bar. P.S. They even have an obnoxiously over-sized lawn chair (just like AJ Bombers) if you're into that.

Sat at bar for 5 minutes - watched 7 staff members walk by with out acknowledging three people who just walked in and sat at bar. Walked out and went somewhere else.

Fun place. Pull up and dock. Eat on the boat or off the peer. They have tables set up also to eat on land.

Seemed like a very nice place at first, loved that we could sit outside and face the water as we ate dinner. However, service was terrible. Took a long time to get a server and rarely saw our server once we got one. Food was good, however it made me wake up in the middle of the night with food poisoning. I also noticed when I got my food that the lettuce for my burger was bad so I didn't eat that. Food poisoning has turned me away from ever eating here again.

I went to Fooleries a few months back and quite enjoyed myself. Recently, I took a group of friends there as we were looking for a different place for a fish fry. Boy, the difference in experiences was shocking. We were shoved near the speakers and when I asked if we could move to the quieter section, our waitress said no because the bouncers like to sit back there. Really. Our waitress was a complete ditz and we wondered what she was on because she couldn't seem to remember anything from one side of the table to the next. I had the fish fry and it was ok. Nothing special. I've definitely had better and, for that matter, better priced at other places in the area. The most shocking event though was when someone in our group, who also ordered a fish fry, noticed that half of the crust of her rye bread was covered IN MOLD! MOLD!!!! Unbelievable! Luckily the manager comped her meal, which was the right thing to do.

Upgrades all around... New and updated patio is very nice along with the complete over haul of the menu. Menu has a great selection of sandwiches and apps, but burgers rule the day here. The burgers choices are vast and eclectic with a great twist of being able to select from three locally sourced proteins of beef, pork, and buffalo. Beef is grass fed ! We ordered moz sticks, wings, jalapeño poppers, fries and 4 of the burgers. Aside from mix ups on the food due in part from being served food from those other than our server and delay from it.... Food was good. Staff is much more efficient than before to include a nice compliment of buyers to expedite table turns.

Better food than we expected and a lakeview patio seat to boot. Thai peanut salad was great but should come with chicken right off the bat. The burgers allow you to pick from several proteins, are very large and packed with flavor.

The staff is super. The food is decent. Pay a premium for being on the lake. There are some things like a side salad being sheared bag lettuce on a plate just is not right.
