This place isn't awful. We have been there maybe 8 times since they opened. I will only go with one of their half-off discounts. The food is ok. A good selection at the salad bar, pizza bar has lots of different pizzas, and some different food for the kids and the asian area. Unfortunatly everything is bland. They play it too safe and nothing is spicy, salty, or too crispy. I really wish they would rotate the crust used on the pizzas. The crust is the weak point of their pizzas. For all of the workers walking around there are always a shortage of cookies, eating utensils, napkins, or straws. It never fails. For ticket redemptions they should also stock candy instead of the plastic cr*p that breaks before we even get home. Overall a nice alternative to Chuck E Cheese.

Awful food. When my adult favorite item on the buffet was the tater tots... I think it says something. When you spend over $50 for your family to eat, it should be good, right? Half the buffet was closed. Ridiculous. Games were overpriced. Chucky E Cheese has one token games. Much better deal there. We got the $4 wrist band deal. I don't recommend it for little ones as all my 3 year old used it for was the bounce house. Everything else terrified her or was too little for. Good deal for older kids as my teen got good use out of it. Bottom line? Next time... Chucky E Cheese.

Stone Fire is a pretty cool place. We had a 2nd birthday party here for my son. They have a reasonably large buffet with salad, pasta, pizza, and other stuff like chicken nuggets, and nachos and baked potatoes that can be made with all the fixings. There are usually six or seven types of pizzas on the buffet, but not so much during the weekdays and weekday evenings. Most of the games work using game cards, but a lot of the ticket machnes are less expensive using tokens. Staff was really nice, and the boy had fun in the ball shooting room.

I've lowered the stars quite a bit because I've definitely experienced better here. On the day of my son's birthday party, I had gone over the total amount due and there was a discrepancy between what I was told over the phone and what I was paying for in-person. There was no manager in sight and the only people who even addressed the issue with me were the 2 giggling, sarcastic girls at the front desk. There was zero reason to treat someone the way they treated me and trust me, if it wasn't my son's birthday I would have had no problem going somewhere else. Everything else was a complete delight. As usual, the cooks were very helpful and friendly, the store clerk was very nice and the floor assistants were doing their best to clean up the place in between customers. Even so, the level of unprofessionalism displayed by the 2 girls texting and talking about their high school friends, laughing at a situation that was not pleasant for a guest who was paying for a party.... terrible. I truly question ever coming here again.

What a hole. Came here about 16-18months ago. It was decent. Now, expensive crappy food. Dirty environment. Place is nasty. Got taken at the register by a bait and switch routine that is shown on my receipt. Do not come here... The nastiest Chuck E Cheese is cleaner. Management should be fired or shot out back.

I cannot wait until my kids grow up and want to dine at an establishment that has a modicum of quality control. Pizza... now remember this is What They Do! You will be presented with TWO choices... 1. Burnt and luke warm 2. Properly cooked, dry, and luke warm. Naco cheese = cold Sour cream = un refrigerated and dangerous. The BEST employee was the bus boy. Fast and courteous. This place will rob you of some hard earned money and leave you with a shame/guilt/regret trifecta.

Top 3 High/lowlights 1) fun place for kids 2) below average food 3) food and game packages available Came to Stone Fire Pizza Co. my 6 year old brother'a birthday. For kids this place is great. There is a big buffet, video/arcade games, a bouncy house, ball "pit", and bumper cars. The buffet can be purchased as a package with a gaming card which is what we did to save cost. The buffet is a kids dream - a bunch of pizza choices, nachos with the fake cafeteria nacho cheese, chicken nuggets, cookies and ice cream. They also have a small taco bar, a salad bar, and a baked potato bar. The food is below average and is about equivalent of school cafeteria food. However, if you are looking for great food you should know not to come to a place where the target customer is under 10 years old. The gluten free options are labeled on the glass of the buffet line which was incredible helpful! I had a salad and a baked potato, and like I said before it wasn't awful but certainly below average. The group I was with seemed to feel the same way. The buffet is unlimited so you can get a lot of variety but it's not really quality food. The game room area is decent sized and has all the usual arcade games including skee ball, some racing games, the impossible hit the spinning light as it passes one tiny area games etc. However some of the games were broken. The ball "pit" is more like a 3 story jungle gym with soft, squishy, balls you am through around and shoot out if "ball blasters". Also noticed in here that some of he floor tiles were coming up. Overall, this place is a fun time especially if you are under the age of ten but could use a little more upkeep.

Fun place for kids. My son was a little to short for the bumper cars. But i think its a little bit expensive as far as the rides jump house and games. For 2 kids to play and ride i pd about $45 and this was without the jump house outside. Mind u i put about $ 25 on the card for them to play the games w tickets. The package i got came w a card tht allowed them to play the games (non_ticket games) for 60 min. If u plan on going i wld only go on Wednesday $5 day.

I've been to Stonefire Pizza a number of times and each time it has been a great experience. The birthday party there was awesome. They took care of everything and most importantly, every child has a blast . Most times, we are just going in there to eat and play and we love it. The food always seems fresh and good and the sports room looked like they remodeled. But of course, everyone loves the games! We'll be back soon.

Food was sub par at best. Chilly was the best thing they had out there. Also customer service sucked. The lady that checked us in was very rude concerning our old game cards from before. All the pizza tasted the same as the other pieces and it was not clean at all. I had heard a lot of good things and was surprised by how down hill it has went since the new ownership. Just go 4 the games. Skip the food.

Good for all ages. A large room of video games and rides where you can teach your kids to use a credit card type system to swipe and loose money. When done playing you can take your "tickets" and trade them in for penny items that have a 300% upcharge. Loud and busy, kids love it, parents - take your Tylenol. Buffet - good selection of salads and pizza but I tend to find that every pizza tastes pretty much the same - as it does with most pizza buffets. They have a smaller "kid" bar which is a good idea. Small pasta bar for a change from pizza and a dessert area for everyone to get their sugar coma on. Staff is present and it seems that they try to keep the dining area clean. Great place for birthday parties.

Cool place. Dinner prices very reasonable I think the adult buffet is 9.99 and kids are like 6$. They even have a sports bar. They have handwashing stations and hand santizer stations everywhere to help keep the kids healthy,.

I have been to stone fire pizza many times after the new ownership. We have been happy with the food and service each time. Very well managed. Clean and good food. There will always be haters but having been in food and beverage many years, I can say its a good place and unbeatable for the kids.

I've been here multiple times over the years, and for the most part I have been very pleased with the service and the quality of food (especially during the toddler times they have in the morning). However, after visiting SFPC this past Saturday I will NEVER be going back again. My wife and I, along with my 3 kids, visited on 3/15 (Sat night) during its peak dinner rush. This place was completely overwhelmed and understaffed - I was completely disgusted at the overall presentation. After spending $84 for admission which included the buffet and 3 $20 game cards for each child, we were brought into a crowded and dirty dining room. There was only 1 attendant on staff in the room who was working tirelessly to keep up on cleaning tables and bussing tables, but he couldn't keep up. There was spilled soda, food, napkins and straws all over the floor (reminded me of my high school cafeteria). After being seated I went to the buffet line only to see that the pizza was anything worth appetizing. The buffet was not being properly cleaned or wiped up, there was spilled food all over the place and there was soda and ice spilled all over the dispensing area (my feet stuck to the floor). Honestly, even looking at some of the food selections - I couldn't even tell you what some were as it looked like I was being served from a nursing home. Anyways, I complained to the manager about the lack of staff to keep up with the crowds and he apologized. I knew he was working hard as even himself was cleaning tables to keep up but this shouldn't be anything new. You have to expect crowds like this on a Sat night and staff them appropriately. The manager gave me another $20 game card as compensation but that wasn't really what I was looking for - I just wanted a pleasant place to eat that had decent looking food and where I didn't have to step over garbage and food laying on the floor to get to my booth.

Great place for kids to play and burn off those calories, more activities than Chuck E Cheese's. But the food was not the greatest; pizza was way too greasy, the lines were way too long. Ultimately, if you're going there for a relaxed environment, probably not the best choice. The kids will love it!

I'm not a complete germophobe, but seeing this many children in one enclosed area made me more than just a little nervous. Buffet sneeze guards are rarely positioned at the appropriate height. Seeing noses wiped by hands which would seconds later grab a pizza slice was terrifying. I love kids, but I love my health so much more. If you're like me, bring hand sanitizer and put your mind at ease. The food was nothing to write home about. Selection was definitely better than expected. This is an establishment for kids, so I'm assuming they tone down the use of spices for their finicky palates. There was a bottle of Sriracha in the place though, so all was not completely lost. The play area was amazing! It was like Chuck E Cheese on Ryan Braun's alleged PEDs. Three story ball pit. Amusement park ride. Skee ball. Video games. Really, really cool place to bring kids that adults will also enjoy.

The toughest part is that the staff is part great. But management/owners have turned it into a place that nickel and dimes you the whole time. Please be ready to spend 40-60 per kid to enjoy. They have taken away options to buy all inclusive and moved to a la carte. Feel like the owners want money more then making the environment the best. The ball area still has broken equipment, there is always something broken in there and they want 4.50 a kid to play. (Something has been broken in that for 2 years, not once all works) I think I am done with it. But as I said before, the staff is working really hard. They are mainly young but enthusiastic. They work hard to make the kids time better. The staff is the redeeming factor and I hope management notices!

Great place for what they advertise. If you are looking to take your kids for a fun afternoon this is the place! It has just the right accommodations for kids, parents, babies, and everyone. My kids had more fun here than at the water park. I love that they place hand sanitizers every where. The remodel and renovations are perfect! Staff very friendly and accommodating. Easy to find staff help with machines when needed. And the new pizza selections are amazing! Thank you thank you thank you for offering a gluten free selection!!! I like that they reduced the overall entry fee which allows you to decide what you want to pay for. If i only had young kids i would not want the ball area and rides. It is quite obvious that they are trying to accommodate to recommendations and make the best possible family friendly entertainment and dining experience.

For $10 per adult the price is acceptable. There is free wifi and plenty of TVs for watching sports. The food is adequate but I worry about germs with all the kids. The potato bar was good. Our 7 year old enjoys going here so that is what is the most impotant.

This past weekend I atteneded S.F , which would be my duaghters third birthday party here. This last expeirence was HORRIBLE. Granted we were late to the party so we had limited time in the party room, management was unwilling to compromise unless we paid an additional $50 for a later time with no host. (when the party was already $300) We opted to just take the limited time so my duaghter could have her cake and open gifts. The best part of that was the host she was actually really good and did very well! Thank you ashley! Now what ruined the whole experience this time was the rude staff. You could clearly tell the "teenagers" working there all had attitudes and were annoyed. I personally think if they cant handle a kid environment they shouldnt be working there. we stayed until closing by 9:40 you couldnt find an employee in sight! The food was ok, better then chuck e cheese, but for the price and the HORRIBLE customer service that was provieded I would have rather took a loss on the non-refundable $50 and went o chuck e cheese and had good customer serivce. My daughter turned 5. I cant see my self paying that much money again there with that type of crappy service. VERY DISSAPOINTED.

I like this place. My niece loves this place. First of all let me say I don't really like Dave & Busters so that is not a meaningful comparison to me. The food is good (MUCH better than Dave & Busters at least the one in Chicago, I might add). The salad bar is fresh, full of variety and awesome. My grandma likes the french onion soup. I love the S'mores pizza and the cinnamon sticks with frosting. I also enjoy the vanilla soft serve with strawberry topping. I love the fact that they have Diet Mountain Dew as a beverage choice. There are always a wide variety of pizza choices available and if you don't see what you want just ask the people behind the counter and they will make it. For children, at least between the ages of 4 and 7 this is a very fun place to go.

I'm always skeptical of the buffet concept, no matter the restaurant. It's difficult to understand how fresh the food is, or if it's at the correct temperature. My criticism: severe gastric distress for 3 days after eating at S.F. Was it their food? Of course there is no way to prove it. Can a buffet be trusted over a freshly prepared entree? Probably not. Buyer Beware. This place isn't cheap, since you pay the entry fee for an 'all-you-can-eat' experience. I'm lucky if my 3 year old will finish a slice of pizza. If you don't eat your weight in food, it might not be worth it. It's difficult to go for dinner with a 3 year old and expect they'll stay in their seat. In my mind, I'm paying a door fee to give my kid a chance to run around, use the play area, and interact with others his age. My advice: Pick only the fresh pizza that just came out of the oven. If there is 1 or 2 slices left, it's waaaaay too old.

Update, 09/2009 Continuing evolution. Unfortunately, in somewhat of a negative overall direction... I do realize that with the economy the way it is, Stonefire is being dragged down by an anchor. Food has become more bland. Dessert bar has been reduced further. Premium drinks area has been replaced with a hot dog machine. All of the soda cups are now child-sized (oops, apparently just MOST of them, there's a few regular-sized cups out now at 5:30PM). Our first round of plates went uncollected for 44 minutes, despite a clown wielding a cart full of blinky neon plastic gizmos passing us twice, a group of six staff holding a strategy meeting just two tables away, and a trainer showing a new hire how to clean tables all walking by. The face painting area and other toddler play areas are in better shape, with the possible exception of the construction zone, where all the blocks have been removed and replaced with coin-op kiddy rides. A clown is walking around and making balloon animals, which is an interesting change. There's an incessant beeping several times a minute from an Ecolab gizmo in the water play area (very annoying). It's Friday, and they've just changed out the pasta bar for cod, fillets, corn, and mashed potatoes with gravy - interesting. The customer service counter has been walled off and replaced with a row of automated card dispensing machines. Ballocity appears to still be in a poor state of repair, and not worth $4.50. The guest wifi is ridiculously unusable; whoever installed it clearly never did even rudimentary testing on it, because it exhibits horrible packet loss to the local gateway even with a full strength wifi signal - 5% packet loss on small packets, 76% on 1500 byte packets. Plus a duplicate IP address warning. (Need a fix? Contact me. I'll be happy to look at it for free, just to gain the convenience of not having to use cellular Internet). On the extremely positive side, the daytime buffet price Monday thru Thursday has been significantly reduced. I just hope that the reduced pricing is a sufficiently large draw. Stonefire has established a reputation as being a pricey spot for lunch and dinner, so I hope there's not too much inertia there. It was nearly empty when we got here at 3:30PM, but now it is moderately busy. Update, 04/2009 They've removed the iconic outdoor tube. The face painting area has two crayons. Most of the railroad cars are missing. The tables on either side of me (I'm at SF right now) have been unoccupied, with dirty dishes piled high, for 45 minutes. The paper towels in the toddler area are out. They're confiscating the business lunch cards they used to hand out. The Edy's machine has been replaced with a regular ice cream machine, and it's been turned around so that a staffer must dispense ice cream, except there are no staffers to be found. They also stuck the Slushy machines back there. The ice cream toppings are mostly gone, the cookies are entirely gone, and they've replaced it with a bunch of jello. The asian and pasta portions of the buffet look overcooked and like they've been sitting there a while. The kids section has been expanded a bit. There are fewer pizzas out and they appear to have less willingness to ditch pizza that's been sitting out too long. The salad bar has been reduced to just the basics as well. Their chicken tortilla soup and some other good things are just gone. The "Stonefire Chili" they replaced it with, not so good. They do have a few pizzas we'd never seen before, one that was pretty good (Spicy Italian). Someone just bussed the tables, it's been over an hour. Overall, very disappointing change of direction for what was once an upscale pizza buffet.

Let me just say first that if I hadn't been to a Dave & Buster's before coming here, I probably would have liked this place better. Having said that, Stone Fire is not nearly as good as Dave & Buster's. For one thing, a business that has "Pizza" is in its name is obviously banking on people to come for food, and not just for games. However, the food is buffet-style, and that means you get a mediocre selection of pizza and other entrees that have been sitting under hot lamps for God-only-knows-how-long. Honestly, the food here was even worse than that of the buffet-style cafeteria food at my college (which set a pretty low precedent to begin with). There are a few separate eating areas, each with its own theme, but the decoration is so sparse that it doesn't offer an immersive experience, and thus where you choose to eat doesn't really matter. Also, the dining areas are only clean enough to be above being labelled "absolutely disgusting." That I attribute to the employees assigned to the restaurant part of the establishment walking around aimlessly more often than cleaning. There is really no reason why anyone should want to eat here, given that you pay a lot only to receive very little in return. As for the midway section of Stone Fire, I can only say "meh." It's not as big nor as varied as a typical Dave & Buster's. Admittedly, they do have the Super Trivia TV thing that everybody loves at D&B's, but it's totally out-of-its-element in this environment. Do you really want to compete in answering pop culture trivia questions against 10-year-olds? When I was there, the only people playing Super Trivia were me and the people I was with, which wasn't much fun. For some reason, there is a disproportionately large selection of no-skill arcade games on the midway floor, such as crane games, a few games where all you do is pull on a lever once, and more of the like. It's a good way to waste credits in exchange for tickets, but if all you're trying to accomplish is getting tickets, why not just go to a store and buy a toy instead? Another complaint I have against the place is how ambiguous they are about their closing time. When we were eating, an employee came over the speaker system and announced that they were closing, yet we went back to the midway and played games for another 45 minutes. During this time, more announcements were made about how "Stone Fire Pizza is now closed," yet nobody left, and no employees walked around kicking people out. Even when everyone else did leave (on their own), my party and I still played games for another 15 minutes. During this time, employees walked around and started to clean up, but not a single one asked any of us to leave. It was actually more awkward than anything. In short, just do yourself a favor and avoid Stone Fire Pizza altogether. Gather up the family and head to a Dave & Buster's instead. You will probably actually save money and be happier with your experience.

Food is very good. It's a upscale and bigger version of ChuckECheese. This beats CEC hands down. I've seen recent reviews that say it's gone downhill since 2009 but I just don't see it. This is our 3rd visit in 3 years and it continues to be a good family destination. We'd go more often if it wasn't over an hour from our home.
