Great staff and the food is very good. I have been to this location on many occasions and I leave content and happy every time. I see one review stating the food to be sub-par. I have no affiliation with nor do I know anyone personally affiliated with this restaurant location / chain. IMHO he must have gone on an off day because I can tell you from my personal experience on many occasions that the food has been very good.

Stopped in for lunch with a party of 4. Service was very quick and friendly. We ordered from the Rapido Lunch menu. Food was excellent.

We had a excellent meal, great service, good margaritas. We were there at noon on a Sunday, the place was pretty empty, which would have been e red flag for me, but I had eaten there before, so I knew it was good. Our friends had 2 young children, they ate free, so that was a nice surprise. I have ate at all the Solea restaurants in appleton area, and they are all good. The one in Menasha is more "authentic". We had been there on a Wednesday evening and it was packed. I recommend this restaurant.

Have to go every time I am in town. The service is excellent. The food is freshly made and always delicious. The pork chipotle enchaladas taste as good as any I've had in New Mexico or California.

oh my god, this place sucked...One star for the staff being really nice and attentive, but honestly. Food sucked!!! Chips were ok, and salsa was ok, but not OK. Now here is where it goes down hill. I had the enchiladas suizas, which is green chicken enchiladas. Lets start. The green sauce on top of the enchiladas sucked. Wasnt flavorful. The chicken inside, was red in color, but didnt have any flavor, and the tortilla that wrapped the chicken, didnt taste good. Rice and beans were ok. One star....Wouldnt recommend... Sorry.

Really good chips, bean & salsa dip. From what I can tell the salsa is NOT "ketchup". The pastor burrito is excellent. Good service and reasonably priced menu items. Food portions are huge so no worries there. There are a good amount of flat screen TV's for all you sports fans & a nice bar to order your favorite beverage.

Went to Solea for dinner. Craig, the bartender recommended a scallops dish. It was outstanding!! The staff is great, bartender Craig is a lot of fun. I highly recommend trying Solea. It's always clean, prices are reasonable, portions are large.

I have to start out by saying I am bit of an authentic mexican food snob since living in CA. I understand peoples tastes here could be on the less spicy side so this is my review WI wise. First off...loved the Hispanic music outside as I was walking up and the inside felt like I was back in Mexico (but cleaner). Happened to come during happy hour (2 for 1 margaritas!). When she brought the chips and salsa (and refried beans), I was very disappointed! The chips were good and crisp, the beans fine but the salsa...no bueno! Salsa seemed like it was from a jar/can. Ick...that's just not okay! I had to add a lot of habanero and Cholula sauce to get any flavor or heat from the salsa and beans. Got the fish tacos (heard they were the best from someone who does a lot of traveling) and I must say...they did not disappoint! Fish tacos...best I ever had too! Also have to point out that the service was great! Now, overall I gave 4 stars for several reasons: service, good mexican for WI (location location!), atmosphere and fish tacos. If I was rating on salsa alone...1 star (which btw, is really important to be fresh and chunky). Will go back.......

Been meaning to write a review for a while. If you like tropical drinks and ask for a coconut margarita, it will be the best drink you will ever have. Tequila dinners are awesome too.

Been here many times and one of the better Mexican restraints in the area. The staff is always friendly, the margaritas are descent, and the bean dip that comes with the complimentary chips is tasty. I would recommend either the grilled scallops for something different; or the chicken fajitas if you want more traditional.

Very friendly service. One of the better locales right off the highway for those driving throuhh to points north. The Bell street ramp is closed so you have to get off at Winneconne and circle back. Patron margarita is very yummy at $6.50. I also liked the chips though not the bean dip. The Mexican cobb salad was great. My Mom said her burrito wasn't as good as the last time she was here though. Hopefully just a isolated mishap.

The chicken taquitos here are muy delicioso! The service is always quick and friendly. Two-for-one margaritas on the patio can't be beat.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
