About 2 or 3 years ago this place was the spot to relax and have a good meal, sadly not anymore. The waitresses spent more time talking and seem annoyed if u needed something, the meals took too long and under cooked, no high chairs for babies when the business feeds a lot of FAMILIES, and it was nice to see they support pets and by pets I mean ROACHES!! It was right on the table as my family and we're getting ready to leave and even the waitress saw it and had the most worried look on her face because we saw it but there was NO agency to tell a manager what she saw and that CUSTOMERS seen it too!! I left it alone and NEVER again am I going there with my family!!! Please be careful with your kids when eating here!!!

My husband and I had the country breakfast plate and it was delicous! The place is looks like a typical diner you'd expect. We can't wait till our next visit to the area and will definitely stop in again.

Zebb's will forever be my favorite place for breakfast! I order the bacon omelette with cheese, French fries, & wheat toast. IT'S DELICIOUS!

I stopped in here with friends after completing a 5K with friends awhile back. I had to make up those burned calories somehow, I wouldn't want to get in shape or anything. I haven't been back since, but I think I've got a new diner of choice when I'm in the mood for a quick bite and in the area. The service was no-nonsense while still being friendly as could be. The server just had one of those personalities where you know she'd be able to dish it out if you gave her trouble. I love when my food comes with a bit of sass. I'm not kidding--not many servers can pull it off, but when it works it works. And here it works. As far as the food goes, I've only tried the Milwaukee Burger (which is huge, by the way). I imagine a burger probably isn't the best dish to gauge the quality of this restaurant, but it was cooked well and had the perfect amount of melted cheese. Yum!

Zebbs Zebbs Zebby Zebbs. I'm on a mission to try every breakfast spot in my land. I have visited Zebbs neighbor Omega a couple of times now so it was Zebbs turn. I liked Zebbs. The service was fast, we didn't even have to wait to sit on a Sunday morning. The service was just ok. There was nothing wrong with it, but it wasn't special. Take your order, bring your food, drop off the bill. The food hit the spot. Good breakfast diner food. I had the ham and cheese crepes which were very good actually. The hash browns were perfect. Why can't I accomplish perfect crispy hashbrowns at home? If I could, I would. Oh who am I kidding, it's so much easier to have someone else make it for me. The skillets weren't served in a skillet. They offered Texas as a toast option. The over easy eggs were reeaally easy. The bacon was the perfect level of crispy. Anyway, the prices were fair and the atmosphere was pleasant. Zebbs doesn't top my breakfast spot list, but it's definitely not off the list either.

Very good breakfast very fast friendly service. Coffee was good not watered down like most places. Reasonable prices. My first time here but if I'm ever in area again I will certainly come here for breakfast again.

Great food and great service... This place is one of the best choices in the city for any meal. Yes, it could use a remodel but do not let that discourage you. What do you look for in a restaurant? Great food and service right? Well this is the place to go for both. The food is great and the waitstaff is always very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Zebbs for your next restaurant choice.

Another fine breakfast place in Milwaukee. Saturday at 8:30 am no waiting and my server was on the ball. It looks like your average Greek place and seemed clean. Today I was going to get something I have never had that I have seen around town. I don't know just what it was when I ordered but I was going to find out today. I went with the meat lovers frittata with Greek toast, thanks for having Greek toast. My first impression is that it's a twist on an omelet and covered the whole plate with some thickness to it. Let's dig in and find out what it is and wow this was very tasty, it's like everything breakfast in every bite. I imagine they put hash browns, bacon, ham and sausage in a pan and pour about three eggs into it and bake. When down flip it on to a plate and cover with cheese. It came super hot and stayed hot through the whole breakfast which was nice. There was plenty of meat in each bite and the whole thing was very dense, I didn't even get through half of the frittata. This is a serious plate of food. I'm a fan of the frittata and will order it again. All in all zebbs was a decent breakfast place and better than most.

The food is okay, the prices are just a dab high. The place is a little dirty and the staff is just fair. A place to go when you have no where else to go to.

It was my last meal of a 5-day work trip: Friday lunch. The weather was horribly depressing, temp in the mid-40s, windy, gray, and rainy. I had an hour and a half to kill before my next appointment. I compared the Yelp reviews of Zebb's, and Omega across the street. I chose Zebb's because it wasn't quite as busy as Omega, and I am still thinking about the meal I had there. For $12.99 I got a cup of chicken & dumpling soup, a 1/2 broasted chicken and potatoes, and a piece of apple pie. My meal also included the iced tea. I haven't eaten like this since Christmas! The food was delicious and I felt like I was eating at Grandma's house. Absolutely one of the best deals on food I've had in a long time. Is this 5-star fine dining? Of course not, but what they do, they do perfectly and my server, Amanda is a pro. She handled all her tables with a smile and was very efficient when delivering food, refills, and the check. The next time I'm in the Milwaukee area, this might be the first place I hit right after I leave the airport. If you like homemade comfort food, this is the place.

This is my husband's and I's favorite place! Service, food, and prices are always great! Better then omegas across the street!! It's open 24/7 so whats not to love
(5)Lindsey O.
Better than big brother across the street. Seriously, I wish I would have tried this diner sooner. They have everything you want, great service (with a smile), and cheap eats. They are open 24/7. I can walk there. I don't know what else to say except, you must try them if you're in the mood for diner food.

All home made food, not from a box. Basic americana cooking. Always a safe choice to eat there.

With my JS Online offer about to expire, it was not only time to return to Zebb's, but update my first-time review from January. Don't get me wrong, this is actually the ninth time I have been to Zebb's now, just a little stuffed each time to cause me to put off my writing an update. For sure, I am definitely an expert on Zebb's Chopped Sirloin (12 oz) Steak dinner ($9.95) for that is the only selection I have chosen coming here. For my friend John, the certified Italian Chef, he has experimented as a "great" chef should, all with positive comments. My wife loves the huge, almost a meal in itself Greek Salad with her choices and her Illinois cousins the extensive menu and overwhelming portions. Homemade rolls and large deserts cement the meal. I am pleased to tell you that we have never had a disappointing meal or service. Whether Sharna, Jane, Taylor or Diana, all the waitresses have been excellent. When in the area and mealtime, this is the place I want to be. Now if only I could get the nerve to order something different!

Love! These people treat you like family. Amanda is my favorite waiter, she treats you like close family. I love the menu choices, there are so many. I've tried about 6 of them, and I wish I were staying in WI longer to try the rest. While out here on a two week trip I ate here every two to three days. I will definitely be going back before I leave. :) Thank you!

This place underwent a little bit of a revamp within the last couple of months. The menu is new and the prices crept up a little, but they are still in line with the other family restaurants in the area. I resist change when it comes to my favorite restaurants, so I was worried about a changing Zebb's that I remembered coming to for several years. The monstrous portion size is still alive and well, but I think the quality of the food jumped way up. I had the broccoli and cheese omelette with American fries with onions and I could only make it through half of it. It was served on a platter and the omelette filled up the entire platter and the American fries were piled high on the top. The American fries were absolutely delicious and were not greasy, at all. As an alternative to breakfast toast, I would recommend a grilled hard roll. What a tasty idea! The gyros are still fantastic! The service was fantastic! Sorry I doubted the changes, Mr. Zebb!

I went to Zebb's with two friends. The decor was a bit outdated but the atmosphere of the place is very family friendly and warming. The menu was too large so it took a while for me to look through it. The waitress was average. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo. It was probably the best I've ever eaten. It was very flavorful, creamy, cooked perfectly, and delicious! My only real issue was that some creep was checking out my friends and I, which Zebb's had nothing to do with.

I've been here a few times and it is so so and totally acceptable for the kind of dining you would do at a place like this BUT the one star (should be no stars) is for the beyond rude owner and unwelcoming atmosphere. The last time I was in this place I walked out without even placing an order after being rudely treated by the owner/host who ignored me and my party until a member asked if we were supposed to seat ourselves - he was so disgustingly rude at this question being asked... sarcastically responding to the query and walking probably a mile ahead of us to the table - we passed him on his way back to the podium on our way to the table. Further the music was loud hip hop pop type music...like club music which I don't hate but it was really awkward for a restaurant populated with, like, four 80 year olds besides us. Anyway we figured we'd stick it out since we were sitting and hungry but the waitress never came back so we ended up leaving, passing two people (including rude owner/host) on the way out with not a word spoken to any of us and skipped we across the street to Omega. I'm really laid back with service industry people and very tolerant of most things because I do this work myself and know how it is but something about this place really bothered me and I will never go back. I do not recommend it - it's also overpriced. I feel bad for anyone who has to work there.

Zebb's is one of the better diners I've found on this side of town. It's a big Greek diner that seems to do a brisk business. They have the usual suspects, huge portions, and fairly friendly staff. Did I mention that the food is good? Like most diners, service is a bit hit or miss. I've had many more good experiences than bad, and the kitchen is generally fast. They seem fairly busy, but in general handle it well. They're over where Morgan meets 27th near the tire places and Walmart just down the street a bit from Leon's.

I have been a regular at Zebbs. It's nice when the wait staff and management knows you and goes out of their way to make sure that you have a good meal with them. The Chicken Alfredo is an award winner. New menu items include stuffed French toast, a winner with the younger diners I have eaten with. The only complaint that a friend has is that a milk shake costs $4.

Been there a few times and the Greek Skillet is fantastic! The owners are very pleasant!

I dined there yesterday and was appalled that they had a petition against light rail front and center across the pay counter. When I asked why they thought it was appropriate to use their restaurant space for political purposes, the host explained that a regular customer asked them to so they agreed. I offered my opinion that I thought I took offense at them soliciting signatures from customers there, especially when some may not agree with the side they're supporting, and he got snotty with me, saying, Well, then you don't have to sign it if you don't want to, that's your choice, and he said this as if to shut me up, not in a professional tone at all! I asked whether I would be allowed to use their restaurant to solicit support for opposing views and was told no, because the person who asked them to collect signatures IS A REGULAR CUSTOMER. As in, they generate more revenue off him than me. Do they realize that for every bad customer service experience the average person warns 8 people to stay away? I'm on facebook and I just warned 200+ people I know, and now I get to offer my honest review here as well. Regardless of anyone's personal views, people come to a restaurant for good food and friendly service. I got passable food and a seriously bad attitude, so needless to say I will not dine there again.
