I have always liked zaynas, and it's my personal opinion that they have the best hot wings in milwaukee. its friday night and my fiance and i just ordered the junior perch bucket, because he didn't want to go out and i was dying for some fish fry. It was superb, and i'm not the least bit surprised. As for the bad review on calamari: PUH-LEAZ! Everybody aught to know what's appropriate when ordering from different restaurants. Examples: 1. Ordering prime rib at a diner 2. looking for good art supplies such as clay or paint at walmart 3. calamari at zaynas Ok, ok, the last one wasn't original but it was equally as ridiculous at the first two. Zaynas is a regular old greasy spoon delivery. They have chicken and pizza, and things of the like. Calamari is a chancey thing to order wherever you go, and it's a bad example of whether the menu is good or not, which its great. Come on, ciggie delivery until four am?? how can you go wrong? especially in the bitter cold months of most of the year.

If I had a top 10 list of worst restaurants in Milwaukee this would certainly be on it. Last time I ordered pizza for delivery from here...they said it would take about 40 minutes, so I'm like ok no big deal. Then 9 minutes later I get a phone call saying they are outside my house. I was so hungry that for some reason I thought I would try eating the undercooked pizza... But after eating only a slice, I ended up spending the night huggin my toilet. EFF YOU Zaynas!!

They are open really late every night and deliver! food is always delivered hot and yummy.. besides their pizza being really good, they have a great selection of everything else you could want at 3am. LOVE ZAYNAS

A serious craving for calamari made me pick up the phone and order some from Zaynas. Obviously I had a momentary lapse of judgment which I can easily blame on being brain-dead from finals week. Zaynas: Still overpriced, still awful. Overcooked, rubbery calamari. And a tiny portion for $8. Never Zaynas again, never Zaynas again, never Zaynas again...

Needed food late at night after a Brewers game (couldn't stomach the greasy ballpark food.). Our hotel desk clerk handed me a Zayna's menu. I was skeptical but desperate. Ordered some salads, ravioli and spaghetti. To our great surprise, the salads we fresh and tasty, the marinara was flavorful, and the pasta was not cooked to a mush but entirely palatable. Delivery was prompt and they got the order right. We were saved.

This place has always been drunk food and that is all it is good for. This place is the pure definition of frozen fried factory processed foods. Last time I ordered for delivery (not drunk), the girl told me it would be 30 minutes. The food arrived more than an hour later. When I opened my food, it was cold. The fries were cold and the fried chicken was luke warm and dry. After calling them back, the girl said it was because my order was the last on the route, which is totally inexcusable. Even though they have so many drivers per shift, they are so greedy that they sacrifice the customers food just so they can take as many orders as they can in one run. She told me that she would let the manager know which is a lie or the management doesn't care either. The chicken wings have increased in price ever since Wings Over Milwaukee opened and the wings have always been overcooked and on the dry side. The sauces are all generic bottled sauces from wholesale distributors. The coupon for free garlic bread is always garbage and I always end up throwing the bread away. Ever since my last experience I refuse to give them anymore of my business. Not even worth my drunk business.

Zayna's you are an enigma. Some items are simply awesome and at a terrific price (2 gyros dinners @ 13!) or their 'buckets' for a large group. Delivery is usually quite quick and the phone folk are okay. I have yet to try the pizza here...but most everything I have tried has been acceptable to good. Use common sense when ordering from here and you should do alright. Delivery for the Eastside is between $2-3 so factor that in. They also deliver smokes and ice cream...so they definitely get a nod of appreciation for that!

The review is based solely on the pizza. The chicken strips were mediocre and the woman didnt want to answer questions OR move out of my way so that I could see what I wanted to drink. The pizza was so so so tastym bbq chicken. But a small 10" was 13 dollars. Either way it was good.I wouldnt ever go here again if Iwas in town, again, I didnt like the service or the other stuff that we got. The place needs work. This review is only my person opinion, feel free to give it a try. The pizza was tasty.

The pizza we ordered arrived fast and hot at our hotel after midnight. It was a decent pizza - pepperoni, onion and tomato. The delivery guy was friendly as was the person who took our order over the phone. We'd definitely order again next time we're in town.

I recently recieved a flyer in the mail from Zayna's with some coupons. I saw a coupon for a 4 piece fish and chips for $7.50 and thought I would give them a try. When it arrived I opened the box and noticed that the fish were all the same, identical, trianglular shape. What a severe dissapointment. I was expecting REAL fish what I got instead was a processed fish nugget from the freezer. These were identical to the frozen Gordon's patties that you find at the gorcery store in the freezer. Even looking at the fries, there were different kinds of fries mixed in - a sign that those too came right out of a freezer bag. Not a single thing in my meal was made in house. What a let down and what an embarassment for Zayna's. You're cooking SOMEONE ELSE'S FOOD, cooking it, and selling it as your own. I WON'T be ordering again. UPDATE: I called Zayna's and asked to speak with a manager to let them know I was dissatisfied with the quality of the meal. While he was polite, he didn't really seem to understand that allowing processed fish sticks to come out of his kitchen as part of fish dinners was really sub par. He saw absolutely nothing wrong with selling reselling the frozen, ground up, homogenous fish and didn't understand how that's low quality and calls their other food into question. Where is the pride in their kitchen? I still won't be ordering from there ever again.

Despite the fact that I can walk to Zayna's in just over 48 seconds, I will never order pizza from them again. We were full, but not satisfied. It was blatantly mediocre and I would rather spend an extra ten minutes to go down the street to another establishment.

We ordered a pizza from here and living only a little over a mile away they said it would take about half an hour to get there, but after 50 minutes of waiting I called and they said it was still on its way. About 40 minutes later we decided there were some shenanigans going on and called again only to hear the delivery guy decided 16th and Wisconsin too dangerous of a place to get out of the car so he just drove back. There was no call or anything to tell us that our pizza was not going to be delivered. We called and complained but they still charged full price for the pizza in the end. By far the worst delivery service I've ever had and the pizza is only meh... not worth it. I'd recommend any other place in the area over Zayna's.

I have been ordering the same thing for the past 6 years from this place; the chicken fillet sandwich box. It is one of my favorite things to eat. I would eat it all the time if I could. It's so good! The delivery service is super fast.

Dear Zayna, your fried chicken rocks, but please teach your delivery people that calling me from their car to let me know they are parked downstairs, or calling and telling me to come down to the lobby because the call box is broken (no it's not) does not qualify as delivery and will result in no tip.
