This is an unexpected find in a residential area. It's a corner bar with a handful of tables. The menu isn't huge but there should be something for everyone. I have had the pizza and really enjoyed it. The turkey club was surprisingly good. I would definitely go back for it. The fish fry kind of reminded me of Van de Kamp's fish sticks. I would not recommend it. Service has always been attentive and friendly.

Closed the bar down at midnight and kicked everyone out. I guess they don't care about making money. Oh, and the manager said she would pull me out of the building by my hair- this was while I'm trying to write a tip for the bartender so that we could leave! I have never been disrespected like that in my life. Class less people.

I really, really want to like this place. It's a cool neighborhood place in a neighborhood that is basically Milwaukee's equivalent to Hobbiton. It's always been there, right beneath our noses, and we just didn't know it. This place is a favorite of my parents, who work nearby, so we met for lunch. I had the patty melt, which was a total mess. The flavor was great, but I couldn't even pick the thing up without 99% of it's contents spilling out onto my plate. The homemade chips that came with were good. The service was alright, but uneven. Almost non existent at first then a bit overbearing later. I'm going to give Valley Inn another shot because of the strong recommendations, and hopefully the experience will be a bit better.

On the outside the Vally Inn looks a little suspect, but the inside is a pretty nice place to go for an inexpensive good fish fry. We went around 6:00 pm on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy at all. They also had a nice size menu for reasonable cost. The service was excellent! Very accommodating and responsive.

Had dinner on Friday. Menu had good variety including excellent homemade pizzas & soup. The sandwiches (Club & Bomber) were huge. Nice friendly local establishment. Kathleen our waitress provided friendly service.
