Alright, so I'm totally biased because this was my place of employment as a manager for almost two years. However, I wanted to share what I think you should order at Qdoba, if you go. When the steak is cooked right, it's really good. Get tacos with steak, corn salsa, a little cheese, lettuce and ask for some cilantro. Really good, and kind of like real Mexican tacos. I also recomment the shredded beef nachos. Order some chips and guacamole with the salsa roja. The chips and guac are made on site (as are many other things) and they're really good when done right. LOL -- I just read Tonya's review, and have to amend mine. Well, I need to say, I never worked at the Grand Avenue Qdoba, which is really the red-headed stepsister of the Wisconsin Qdobas, and I can't believe I chose that location to review -- the above review is simply a general comment on Qdoba, and should not be interpreted as a defense of the Grand Avenue stores. Tonya, I'm sorry I misled you, my dear partner in active Milwaukee-area Yelping!

I get it. This location is in a food court, so I shouldn't really get my hopes up too high, and shouldn't be disappointed when the food is bad and the service is worse......but c'mon Q'doba...have a LITTLE pride in yourself! I walked up to the ordering spot, to be told the "cook" that the only person who could actually help me was in the bathroom. 5 minutes later, said dumptaker returns and thankfully washes her hands in front of me (that might have been the highlight of my visit) and "helped me" I use the quotes because this rocket science was clearly doing everything she could to earn that hefty raise that will put her at the $15 they are looking for by walking out of their jobs. I say this because I ordered my 3 steak tacos and she decided to pretend it was new years eve and toss the steak in the general direction of the taco shells like it was confetti on new years eve. I mean, look, I know I'm your only customer right now, but for the love of God, at least pretend you care about your job for the 2 minutes I'm standing in front of you. I try not to eat at food court restaurants, and try not to hold a grudge against places based on foot court experiences.....but this was weak.

Qdoba, I am washing my hands of you. You NEVER charge me the right price. Sadly, I am a stupid shy person who HATES speaking up and complaining (unless via the Internet) so I never say anything, but today is the last straw. According to your menu my meal should be: 5.99 for a naked vegetarian burrito ( which clearly states guac is included with burrito) .99 cents to add on fajita veggies Total: Somewhere around 7 dollars and some change. Today I was charged 6.59 for a roasted veggie burrito (the veggies they put on said burrito were not even present in my bowl) 1.49 for guacamole. That equals over a dollar more than what I should be paying. I may not have the balls to tell you in person, but your employees need to get their shit together. As mentioned previously in others reviews, the portion sizes alllllways vary and clearly they don't know what goes into the food they are selling. I. Am. Done. I will suck it up and make my meals at home from now on! Yet another reason to avoid Grand Ave like the plague...

Qdoba you get a 3 star only because I would give Taco Bell a 2. It's minor less questionable in food stuff than Taco Bell but its not really good really just kinda ok. It feels more like filler food than real food. The hot sauce couldn't hold its own and the veggies where soggy. Really I think next time im jonesin for mexican im going to a real Mexican restaurant.

Qdoba is Qdoba food-wise. The girl making my food told me in a very sassy manner that I was putting too much on my veggie burrito. I got 5 things. Soo.. yeah.

I have to say this place must be missing Laura's guidance, since my one visit here was the least impressive of any of my Milwaukee Qdoba experiences... The team manning the line was pretty sloppy and inconsistent about how they were building my naked burrito. The guy behind me got two scoops of rice, where I only got one, and somehow the quality just didn't seem up to par with my other experiences (i.e at Capital Drive or in Racine).

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
