MY TAKE ON MY FIRST VISIT HERE: The service is kind of disjointed. You order and then you watch as you painfully wait for the next worker to fill the order with toppings and then painfully wait again as the cashier yells down the line to see what the item is, all the while your food is getting colder than roadkill in Green Bay in January. I received my order and of course the flour tortilla on my chicken burrito was cold while the inner core of chicken and black beans was warm. I didn't want to experience their "complaint department" so I ate it anyway. THIS IS THE PART OF THE REVIEW where if you're under 18 please move along: SHIT THEIR CORN TORTILLAS CHIPS ARE GOOD! What in the name of fucking Rick Bayless do they put in these damn things? They're salty, sweet, crispy triangles of bet your ass I want more. Top these with Queso sauce and you're blood pressure will go to hell but your mouth be happpppy. The store was clean and there's a Starbucks next door. SOLID fast food Mexican grub. P.S. - Sorry for the cursing.

Went to dinner here one Friday night at 9:45 pm. The people behind the counter started to whine to us about how busy they had been all night and that they will be closing in 15 min. But they took our order and let us sit down so we thought it was like any other restaurant and they were just going to close the kitchen and allow us to finish our food in the dinning area. As we got to the register and they started to bag our food in Togo bags I said we are eating here. They said again we close in 10 min you will have to take it like this. We said ok and sat down to eat. 5 min. Later the manager comes to our table and tells us to finish up because they are going to lock the door in 5 min. Not only was he rude in speech but also in attitude and body language. We were half way through our food and expressed to him that we wanted to finish our food and will do our best to finish up before he locks us in. At this point he proceeded to roll his eyes and pout like a child as he walked away. Some friends of ours walked in at that point and they told him they were closed and shooed them out the door. I think we were there about 3 min. Past 10:00 but was pushed out the door by the noise they were making while they cleaned and vacuumed around us. Not only did we not get to enjoy our food. The rude manager and staff have turned me off this place. I will never go back to this location and will tell all my friends that live around there not to go either. If I could give this place negative stars I would.

I go here at least once a week. Great Mexican foods. I love their nachos with chicken. Reasonable price and it's very quick.

It's a Qdoba so you already know what this place does. Review over.

I am boycotting Qdoba after my last experience there. It was over $20 for a small burrito and a naked burrito bowl. That is simply insane!!! I can go to Applebee's and get a full meal and appetizer for both my husband and I for the same price, and still bring leftovers home. From now on we make burritos at home. Also, the staff wasn't too welcoming at this particular location!!

Great fast take out Mexican food. Love the fact that they have a wheat burrito. The ingredients are incredibly fresh from the guacamole to the vegetables inside the your meal. Love the fact that you can see your food being made right in front of you. The service at this one is the best. The people are incredibly friendly and efficient. When I need a quick Mexican meal this is the place that I go to. The only thing is the bathroom needs to be tended to more frequently and maybe even updated. Nothing like leaving a dirty bathroom to make you wanting to eat.

Uh... I can't help myself. This shit is like crack for me. If I had one within walking distance to my house, I would never cook again. I don't know what it is about it. My car magically pulls into their parking lot every time I drive by this one. It's very Pavlovian. This one in near my favored Home Depot. When ever I need to go to the HD to get something, a little bell goes off in my brain that tells me I am starving for a Chicken Queso Burrito with pinto beans, salsa verde, sour cream and cheese. I can't resist. My wife says if this keeps up, we are going to sell the house and move into an apartment so I'll never have a reason to go to Home Depot. That woman must really love me.. On a side note: The at-home taco bar is a great way to feed a large crowd. We've done it several times. Lots of happy guests. Easy clean up and almost no prep.

Qdoba restaurants are Popping up all over the place, this store has an easy to remember address 12345 W capital dr. And I'm happy I happened to try this location, as far as chains you expect consistency. I'm glad to report that this location is busy with a fast speedy crew who follows the food down the line. Rather than job specific assembly line style. The staff was pleasant. And the restaurant was clean. This is now my favorite Qdo. The ingredients are fresher the meat is better. The assembly was large enough and held up well while eating. No one wants to eat a burrito so big and overstuffed that it pops and Becomes a challenge to eat with your hands. Surprise! now you have burrito on a plate, Damn it I hope you have a fork/spoon!

I wholeheartedly recommend the chicken nachos. I agree with Brian that their food is addictive. I have been starting to make my nachos at home so I don't blow my budget on three cheese queso... Chicken nachos, burritos, quesadillas, and the gumbo are all excellent. The salsa verde and corn salsa are both my favs, as I don't venture often into the spiciest ones. The staff seems to be friendly enough, but they really need to make sure the puddles are mopped up near the entrance during the winter months. It's like a moat keeping people from entering the restaurant without getting their shoes wet. The nachos are worth it though.

I travel almost 18 miles round trip at least once a week for the yummy goodness at Qdoba. I fell in love with the mexican gumbo and omg the guacamole is heavenly. I wasnt a huge fan of the creamy condiment until I tried it here. I always order online which has a few glitches like not being able to log into my rewards account when placing order but as long as I enter my card number I receive my reward points. I always have to add in special request section the already included toppings for the quesadillas because for some reason they don't show up in the order confirmation and I ended up with plain ole quesadillas with no condiments. The staff is friendly and extremely polite even when im late picking up my order (which is most of the time) or too early (which happened once. I was even offered a free drink for the wait. They have an awesome beverage selection) Ive yet to try the breakfast menu but its next on my list.

I had a really bad experience here the other night, but, yes, I'm giving them four stars. Hear me out. Food is great. I love Qdoba. Staff is friendly and helpful, but on this past Friday night, I ran into a young manager/shift leader who was neither friendly nor helpful. Our party came in 15 minutes before closing time and at five minutes to close, as we were sitting at our table eating, this young manager told us that they were closing in five minutes so we had to hurry and finish. Whaaa? He then came over a few minutes later and told us we had to go. Typically restaurants stop serving at close time, but they allow their patrons to finish their meals. There were a couple of other things that this young guy did and said at ordering time that was rude, as well, but I'm not going to go into that because then this review would just turn into a rant. I know that Qdoba usually has really good service. This was odd. So to be fair before I posted my review, I went back to this restaurant a couple days later on Monday afternoon and spoke to the manager. She was extremely receptive, apologetic and assured me that kicking patrons out was not what their staff was trained to do. She listened intently as I shared my other grievences from the evening. She didn't make excuses. She assured me that the staff person would be talked to and would make sure it would not happen again. Hey, I always like to give places another chance. I love when businesses make things right. The reason I am even sharing the bad experience is to show how great it was that they made it right. She even gave me a coupon for a free meal. Not necessary, but nice.

After finding out how good the chipotle chain restaurant burrito bowl was I thought I would give Qdoba a try and see how the compare to each other just out of curiosity. The decor was not as hip and cool as chipotle. I did notice that qdoba had family's with young children eating lunch while chipotle had a much different crowd with no children, I don't know what that says or means and since I don't plan to be a regular I'm not going to even try and analyze this because it's just an observation. Chipotle was faster getting in and out while qdoba was about five times slower with a slow moving line. Qdoba has similar meat options so I chose the shredded pork since I had pork carnitas at chipotle. My bowl consisted of pork, cilantro rice, pinto beans, Queso Diablo, salsa roja, roasted chili corn, sour cream and shredded cheese. See my pictures. First off I tasted the pork by it self and chipotles pork carnitas is in my opinion way better with better taste and it was more tender. Some of the rice was under cooked and hard while some was cooked. The burrito had enough heat with the hot items that I chose to satisfy me. Over all the whole burrito bowl was good but I feel the chipotle burrito bowl was the winner of the two. My burrito bowl came with a warn flower tortilla which I thought was weird because the whole bowl idea is to not eat a tortilla. This is the second time I have compared two items from two chains just to see who has the better option and I don't plan to make this kind of a review the norm but it just came together. Overall chipotle was the clear winner in my opinion when you factor in both experiences with food vs the decor and the speed of the line, chipotle was packed vs qdoba at lunch and they are a block from each other.

This is a decent qdoba location. It has some outdoor seating that faces a major intersection. The food is standard, not much rush. We had a fun time watching the cars go by as we ate

I have a friend who won't shut up about how great Qdoba is. Curiosity finally got to me so I tried it out. Next time I see my friend, I am going to punch him in the face. This stuff was gross. It was even nastier than Chipotle. The burrito was shaped like a square, the chicken was dry and bland, it was like a colostomy bag full of barf. The salsa was super bland and afterwards I could feel sodium coursing through my veins. I felt nasty afterwards. Never again. Try a real Mexican place instead.

Went there the other day and tried to order their combo meal. When I asked for the first choice on their menu was told that even though it was on the menu it was not actually a choice on the combo meal, then tried to order something else and was rudely told that it wasn't available. Out of frustration I said that I would find somewhere else for lunch!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
